Not a luxury hotel but nicer than the hotels in the area. Rooms were clean, staff very friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast was great, and the area was kept clean.

we came when the winter was beginning on purpose.. We lived in Maine before and wanted to see it again along with visiting close family. We arrived and given a hearty welcome, asked and they answered any questions we had..

Front desk girl was amazing and sweet. Breakfast was tops!!

The hotel was comfy. I had good interactions with one receptionist but did not appreciate being wooden up and told housekeeping had to clean the room everyday i was there

Everyone was very friendly! Great breakfast!

Rooms and common space are in excellent condition. Beds were fairly comfortable. Entering our room at the end of the building on 2nd floor was a bit inconvenient with outside passage through two fire doors; this wasn’t a big deal for us, but if mobility is an issue, keep that in mind when checking in. Also, I would ask to stay on the no -pool side to help cut down on traffic noise from the interstate.

Nice one night stay. Food was delicious and wine was good. Bar hostess was very personable.

Can’t say enough good things about our stay and the cozy feel of this hotel. It passed with flying colors all of the basic “must have” hotel standards such as cleanliness, a comfy bed, and plentiful room amenities (your own Keurig coffee maker!). But on top of those comforts are the added amenities of a fine low key bar with a next door mellow club room having comfy lounge chairs, tables and a fireplace, then, in the morning a full breakfast is served. I know you might find similar or the same amenities in other hotels but what really made a difference to me and what I enjoyed, was the outstanding attention to detail paid to the interior design/furnishings in our room and in the common areas and how the design themes honored geographically where you were staying - Maine woods and ocean themes - a Maine cabin - natural warm color tones. I am not talking “themed” rooms here but instead a subtle use of design that is meant to remind one of being in a cabin in Maine - but a very nice, modern cabin! I really liked these beautiful designs and furnishings because you don’t see this kind of design in your every day hotel or motel. Over all, attention to detail through out the building, in the hotel amenities and in the service was as close to perfect as I’ve ever seen. Last but not at all least, the staff we spoke with were friendly and helpful.

The lower rooms are small and show more use, ask for a 3rd floor room (there’s an elevator) and you won’t be disappointed. Excellent place to stay!! Really good breakfast!!

This property is an upscale version of Motel 6 or Super 8. The dining area is nice with draft beer and wine selections. It markets itself as an upscale property and "art display" property which is attractive to the traveler who is not knowledgeable about the property. It is a maze to find your room. The rooms are standard quality with very small bathrooms and low end decor and bedding. They charged $10 for a 12:00 pm checkout which I paid and was still phoned and my door knocked on prior to approved 12:00 pm check out. I would spend the same money or even slightly more elsewhere in the future. Smart marketing and attractive website, however, the rooms do not align with the experience advertised.

We had a wonderful stay at Maine Evergreen Hotel. Was very impressed with all the beautiful artwork and furnishings throughout the hotel. The staff was very friendly, pleasant and helpful. They have evening entertainment and very nice free breakfast in beautiful common rooms. This hotel is an excellent value. I highly recommend it!

Aware of the cleanliness and excellent condition of the property when we arrived. Probably one of the cleanest hotel/motels we have stayed in. Right up there with the 5-star resorts!

I guess I couldn't get beyond how ripped off I felt. We needed a room and was frustrated to have to pay almost $300 for a pretty basic room
Although breakfast was complimentary, I felt like it was a pretty small selection to choose from.
I know most of the hotels around Augusta are pretty expensive, but that didn't really help how I felt about things.

This is the nicest roadside, 2 star hotel, I've ever stayed at. Was welcomed by warm and helpful desk staff who quickly remedied a minor issue with my room. Modern amenities and a nice, cozy bar for breakfast and drinks. Definitely as nice as a Hampton Inn!

Great hotel! Kids lived the pool. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

It’s a nice motel for what it is. A clean, safe and affordable room to stay in for a quick trip through town. We didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor pool but it seemed clean and a lot of customers appeared to be enjoying it. The continental breakfast was more than adequate for a quick bite before heading out. A lot of coffee options. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable enough but a heavier person may find they sag in the middle. Room was quiet— I didn’t hear any street or other customer noise. Would definitely stay there again.

Friendly service. Convenient location

Room was large and clean. Nice upgrades to the hotel since I was there 2 year's ago. One issue is the windows in my room (#202) need replacing. I could hear all the street and parking lot noise as if the window was open.

Front desk staff was rude to our kids, confusing them with another large group at the hotel. Manager did reach out and stated it would be addressed with staff.

The breakfast was one of the best, and included.

This is motel style, outside entrances. If you’re like me, and think of all motels as Bate’s, skip this. That said, the room was clean and bed was comfortable. The gentleman working front desk was a pleasure to talk to. There is a small lounge downstairs with a good drink selection and very nice servers.
There are no Ubers in Augusta and taxi service is unreliable. Take this into consideration when making plans

Charged an upgrade fee to move us from an outside door room to an interior. Definitely do not recommend this hotel.

very well maintained property. Really liked all the art from local Maine artists displayed. Best looking hotel pool I have ever seen

Nice hotel on our journey through Maine. Pretty decor, friendly and helpful check in staff and clean/adequate room with minimal amenities (tiny bars of soap). First two floors have exterior doors and there is an up charge to move to the top floor with interior access. Some traffic noise was noted from the interstate but it wasn’t bad. Breakfast selection was good. Our only problem was a very noisy AC unit rattle when system kicked in. Fortunately the weather was cool enough to turn the unit off at night while sleeping. I informed the morning clerk about the problem and hopefully it will be addressed before the summer gets hotter. **if you like cold beer, nice people and good food, we recommend “The Quorry”. We tried “The Liberal Cup” first and although the staff was great (bartender let us sample various drafts) and the atmosphere good, we didn’t like their on tap beers at all.

Awesome beds and pillows. Friendly staff. Adorable decor. Great free breakfast. Great showerhead strength. Filtered water in the room. Definite recommend.
