I stayed on the 3rd floor. The room had a loft with a bed. It was wonderful to be able to spread out. Most hotel rooms are tiny. The breakfast was incredible.

Everything was above standard. A very Pleasant stay.

No elevators, parking was across the street in a graveled parking lot, small room

Very nice place. Quiet and beautiful.

The room was comfortable for 3 people, cleanliness could have been better the ceiling fan was full of dust. Also should make guests aware that there is no elevator. Staff could have been slightly more courteous.

Nice place. The staff was businesslike but not warm or welcoming.

Excellent lodge. Loved the suit. The person at the desk and the manager are very helpful and nice. If I go here again, I will definitely stay here.

Great for summer stay or winter skiing. Right off of Big Mountain ski resort lifts. Rooms were nice and just an hour to Glacier National Park west entrance

Great location and friendly staff. Clean rooms but definitely need some updating soon. Our door was stuck and had to ask for help to open. Room was also in a higher level floor with stairs access only. Overall a great stay.

charming, privately owned lodge, with great staff, quiet and magical lodge lobby with huge fireplace and tons of antique couches in front of the fire. Games on the bookshelves for those who love games or amazing history books. Kids loved the hot tub which somehow was never busy. Beautiful woodwork and lodge atmosphere. Easy 45 minute drive to Glacier National Park west entrance. Only 15 minutes down the mountain to Whitefish. One of our favorite places :-). a hidden gem

Great place with a nice view. Room was a bit dated with window unit air conditioning but clean and a decent value. Breakfast was not great but enough to hold us over until we could get to town

The staff was friendly, helpful, quick to respond, and great all around. The loft rooms were pretty spacious, but there were a few cramped spots that would have been uncomfortable for taller people.
The lack of an elevator was a concern when I checked in. I was traveling with my elderly parents and one of my legs was not a happy camper and having rooms on the 3rd floor was challenging the first day. But they carried out luggage to the rooms for us, which helped tremendously.
The breakfast food was a bit of a disappointment, but the staff kept everything stocked and plentiful. It would have been nice to have at least one or two hot items, excluding the oatmeal and toast that were always present.
It was cold enough for the last two days of our stay (in August!) that they had the fireplace going. The smell of the burning wood was really nice and it was a nice treat.

No elevators and our room was on the third floor. Only accommodation offered was 1 additional room on the first floor…I asked for two rooms on the first floor in place of the one room for 6 on the third floor.

The feel of an old rustic lodge was quaint but needs some maintenance inside and around the property.

Very soecial place ❣️ We love it

There is no elevator in this hotel so pack light because you have to carry everything upstairs, lots of them. Our room was in disrepair. The bathroom fan was loud and worked intermittently and the handle in the shower came off twice, even after they “repaired” it. The smell of pot and cigarette smoke greets you as you enter the hotel. I will not rebook.

What a wonderful experience! The staff is super friendly and we adored the old school lodge feel. It’s so adorable and would HIGHLY recommend. Also, you gotta get in the hot tub. It’s the largest hot tub I’ve ever seen!

This is a beautiful lodge in the mountains above Whitefish Lake. The setting is lovely and serene. Our room was spacious and comfortable. There is a complimentary breakfast and we did use the hot tub. Overall it was great though a bit on the spendy side.

Food not good
10.0 / 10.0
Only downfall is that not much open past 5 to eat up on the mountain. You have to go into town, but the place and the staff makes it worth a drive down the mountain (10 minutes) worth it.

Nice place. But, with No Elevators it wasn't fun hauling our luggage.
Good selection of Continental Breakfast.
Staff was very friendly.
Quiet safe location.

we enjoyed our stay and did not encounter any issues.

Our room was quiet, well appointed, and very clean. A nice continental breakfast is included. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.
The only negative, although vacuumed, the community carpeting needs cleaning!

Bell hops are great to take luggage up the stairs, since there is no elevator. Nice resort, excellent breakfast.
8.0 / 10.0
Nice continental breakfast. No elevator - we were on 3d floor, only stayed one night before heading in to glacier np for a week. There is help with luggage if needed.

A nice charming lodge with friendly staff.

If you are looking for a quiet oasis on the Whitefish mountain you have found it! Love this hotel. There isn’t an elevator so you are walking up stairs and carrying your luggage. However, they will help you if you request which I thought was a good touch to the hotel. It’s definitely a 70s chalet with so much charm! We will be back!
4.0 / 10.0
No hot water in shower during our stay. No elevator. No attempt to find us a room on ground level. Despite being at a ski resort, our room had a view of nothing except the roof. Front desk person seemed bothered having to check us in.
2.0 / 10.0
The pictures on the website were not at all what our room looked like. We were on the 3rd floor and there wasn’t an elevator. Our reservation made it look like we had a 2 bedroom suite, but we had a 1 room with a small loft. No privacy between rooms. The room was extremely outdated and old.
5.0 / 10.0
The room was clean and comfortable. Quiet, peaceful place to stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was on the third floor, so moving up our things after a full day of hiking was rough. Staff was very helpful and offered to assist. Breakfast was okay. Area activities were fun.
6.0 / 10.0
The property is nice with good scenery around it. However, there are no elevators here, and it can be a big hassle if you are travelling with elderly people. All the family suites are on the third floor, and bringing luggage to the third floor can be an issue.
Breakfast was very simple, it could have been better.
