Loved it. Excellent service. Excellent food. Very large property, so a lot of walking required. There are frequent, onsite shuttles if you don’t want to walk.

They don’t know how to treat international travelers .
They will give you a 3rd class service

There was an scorpion in my 14 year old son’s bed.
At check in I show my reservations showing proof of paying 3 adults and 1 child they didn’t want to respect it and wanted to make me pay an extra guest .

The property was beautiful. There was always enough chairs at the beaches. All the staff were kind and attentive. Enrique from the BBC was an amazing bartender. He could make an excellent Espresso Martini. You could walk the property but be warned, there are a lot of steps and hills. The transportation was always running and did not have to wait very long for a lift.

its very family oriented, I feel like the VIP didn't have many perks. Very limited on activities, games and room service takes forever to you. I had ordered a club sandwich and burger and it came 2 hours later.

Couldn’t get past the first day. We had an issue that they could not resolve. We basically lost $500.00. There were other issue but that was the main one.

I am a recurring visitor to Las Brisas Huatulco.
The room was beautiful and sparkling clean. In general, the property cleanliness is amazing for a hotel of this size.
The beaches in the hotel are inmmaculately clean and two of them very safe to swim for non-expert swimmers.
Dinning at the hotel restaurants can get busy at peak times and waiting times in line can be 10-15 minutes.
I only have complements for the staff service level. On our last night we decided to dine at the a la carte restaurant…. however, because of our own fault, we did not realize reservations were needed…. The staff made couple of phone calls and they got us on the reservation list that was already closed.
Finally, but not less important, the view!!! As I mentioned at the beginning, not my first time at Las Brisas Huatulco, but the view of the Tangolunda view from the hotel never stops amazing me.

The property was beautiful. However, the staff wasn’t very friendly. Service was not what we expected, especially for the price we paid

Beaches and area are beautiful. Customer service terrible. Property kind of old, not recommended for people with poor mobility. Layout of the property is nice, but also that’s what makes it difficult to move from place to place. Need to get transportation which sometimes takes up to 40 minutes to get a ride. All inclusive doesn’t mean everything is free. They give you the necessary to be ok, regular food, drinks, and some activities, but other services are costly. In my experience other places like Camino real, or Barcelo are much better.

Everyone was so kind and welcoming. We learned so much about Huatulco and the history of the hotel from each employee. We will definitely return!!

If you’re looking for a relaxing experience, where food and drinks are brought over to your lounge chair and they kill you with service, this is not the resort for you. This is a family resort with lots and lots of children. It reminded me of Great Wolf Lodge where kids were running around being very loud and the customer service was a bit lacking.
The week we were there we did not run into any other foreigners. That was fine with us, but just putting it out there that it looks like this isn’t a big destination hotel for Americans or other foreigners.
The hotel seems to be very understaffed. There was one server for the entire pool and one for each beach. At the buffet, there was a woman making handmade tortillas AND preparing tacos at the same time without assistance. She looked overworked. She was very sweet and I felt bad that she didn’t hav
Food - At the Mexican restaurant, the mahi mahi was overdone and dry and the mole was burnt. Both dishes were inedible. We ended up going to town for dinner.
Transportation - The resort is massive. Set aside an extra 30 minutes every time you request a cart from your room to the lobby/ travel time. This was very inconvenient because we spent so much time waiting in the sun for rides.
Pool- there are 3 pools, with 2 being overrun with children. No music at the pools. And no, they don’t serve any meals You’ll have to dry off, change into dry clothes and go to a re

The beach is so pretty, small waves and good for snorkeling.
Swimming pool is fine, although we didn’t spent much time there having that beautiful beach. Food is good. Everyone is kind and helpful. But two nights we found cockroaches is our bed room!!!
