Always like this hotel. Great breakfast. Will be back soon.

Always stay at the Clarendon when going to the O2. Comfy beds, great breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Location is handy for the O2 or travelling into central London. Even have a quad room. Great for girly weekends

Room very very tired. Worn carpet in patches, old furniture, bath cracked and yellow stained. No blackout curtains or blinds so light from street and christmas lights kept the room permanently light during the night. The curtains did not fit the windows. Old windows so the noise from the street was awful and kept me awake all night. The peep hole in door had no cover so wasnt very secure. Hair on the bed sheets. Staff were not rude but not very welcoming either. All in all very disappointing. Blackheath is crying out for a decent good hotel and this sadly is not it.

I have stayed here 3 times. Its a bit out of town but a lovely hotel. Easy access to railway.
Beds and pillows are comfortable. Clean rooms with nice bathrooms. Breakfast is great. Restaurant looks into garden.
Jazz group was excellent. Bar is very nice. I enjoyed playing pool with a friend.

Pleasant comfortable hotel in good position, close to Blackheath shops restaurants park etc and a short walk from the station. Convenient if like us you had a reason to stay in Blackheath. Excellent breakfast. I'd happily stay again.

Stayed in a room, which had recently been re-decorated to a good standard.

Great stay in this lovely hotel. Very clean and value for a London hotel.

The staff at the Clarendon are the pinnacle of hospitality. The hotel itself screams historic London, and it's location is ideal for anyone looking for a quaint, yet convenient London experience in beautiful Blackheath Village just outside the core. Myself and my girlfriend, both seasoned globe trotters, agree the included breakfast is the best we have EVER had so every stay you get your moneys worth. Highly recommend and I never take the time to write reviews, but in this case I had to.

My room was invaded by housekeepers twice while I was sleeping in the room.
Both times before official check out time. Both times reception was informed.
Manager did not offer incentive for this gross mistake. There is no inside lock in the room or the lock was not operative.

Always a good stay at the Clarendon. Good nights sleep, comfy beds. Great location for the O2. Easy to get into central London, buses and overground. Breakfast is always good to get up for. Back in 2 weeks.

Perfect location for travelling into London.

Great hotel and a lovely location. Check in staff were friendly and efficient, nice touches unlike the chain hotels, feels more homely. Breakfast was superb and staff were brilliant.

We had an amazing stay. This is a lovely hotel. Yes it looks a bit older or "retro" but we actually really liked that. Our room was big enough, bathroom was modern and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was great, lots of choices. The garden outside the dining room was beautiful.

A great place to stay. In Blackheath Village which has plenty of charm and great transport links. The hotel room was large and comfortable, with modern amenities such as USB charging etc. The breakfast buffet was top quality, better than most. We would definitely stay again!

Large bright comfortable room with views over Blackheath towards Canary Warf. Excellent staff in restaurant and bar. Reception sorted a booking issue without fuss and quickly. Breakfast was very good and free parking available throughout our three night stay. Always an enjoyable experience at this family owned hotel such a shame it is closing next year to be re invented as retirement flats ☹️

Could do with an upgrade in terms of television a bit dated not changed since i first stayed there 20 years ago ive stayed in other hotels for a cheaper price with better tv and facilities it has to offer. Ok for a night or two close to location we needed but money wise it's expensive for what you get in terms of condition very basic nevertheless wasn't a bad hotel just needs a bit of an upgrade but lovely area to be in so we were happy to stay here

Not our first time at this hotel, staff always friendly and helpful, rooms high standard but not able to provide comfortable soft pillows for the bed.

It was great. It looks like old condition but very cozy and breakfast is also good

Wonderful hotel with great service and cozy charm.
The restaurant was great and the breakfast has a lot of options. You had to ask for some but they are more than happy to make the dishes for you.
The bed was quite hard and the pillow too hard for my liking but that is just a personal preference.
Good placement concerning transport as the busses stops right outside and there's a train stop at around 15 minutes away by foot.
I had a great stay and can only recommend it.

Really nice hotel that is ideally placed for access to central London. Situated in a great place on the edge of Blackheath village and across the park from Greenwich. Great breakfasts and friendly staff.

Nice, friendly staff willing to help at all times.
Location is nice and quiet, though it takes 40-60 minutes to get to the central London from the hotel.

Checkin was friendly, quick and efficient.
Room was lovely. Bed comfortable, very clean. Shower was good. Tea facilities in room.
Breakfast was very good. That was a treat for me. The breakfast room decor was lovely, bright and plenty of light as it faced the garden.
I'll be back.

Great place to stay, no complaints, staff are lovely and very efficient. We asked for a quiet room and this was arranged for us. Many thanks for this, we slept very well. Breakfast is very good. We would definitely stay again. Very convenient for the O2 via the 108 bus. Thank you for an enjoyable stay

Checkin: Grumpy service
Rooms: Carpets pretty sad. TV size reminds me of the 90s
Good breakfast. Service uneven and buffet could be serviced more frequently.

This is an excellent venue for the O2. Multi bedded rooms and reasonable breakfast. You would need a taxi to the O2. Lovely to walk around Blackheath.

A nice stay but starting to get very dated.

A beautiful establishment

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Only disappointing thing was having to pay for parking away from the hotel due to lack of parking at hotel. Free parking was one of the reasons we chose The Clarendon.

We were staying because we needed to attend a funeral. The staff were very helpful & understanding. Also, during our stay my husband was unwell & the staff could not have done more to be kind to us both. They went out of their way to look after us & we are extremely grateful to them. Literally every member of staff was wonderful & went above & beyond for us.

Great location, chosen to attend an event locally. Parking a nightmare, no spaces in hotel car park, parked nearby for £6 for 90 minutes then moved the car about a mile away to a free parking area overnight. Big queue to get into breakfast at 9.30am and waited more than 10 minutes for a table. Comfy bed and staff friendly and helpful.

Although the hotel was slightly dated, it was impeccably clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast was also probably one of the best I've had, and that includes in hotels that have cost 3x the price that this one was.
The area is also great - I recommend taking a walk around Greenwich park.

I recently stayed at The Clarendon Hotel in London, and I had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent, with a large open park right in front of the hotel, perfect for kids to play and for enjoying a leisurely walk. The nearby markets and restaurants offer a great selection of food, making it easy to find something delicious close by. The hotel's breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly.
The hotel offers parking on a first-come, first-served basis, and they even have an EV charger for Tesla cars, which is a great convenience. The room was comfortable, though not very spacious, but it had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend The Clarendon Hotel. I will definitely book it again in the future.
