Me and my wife having been coming here every year for the last 7 years. We have always had a great time and long staying a couple days. The food and service is amazing and the new golf course is stunning. The hotel could use a make over and cleaned up a bit but overall we love coming and will continue to come for many years.

The property is beautiful and a picturesque location on Toledo Bend but needs serious maintenance and updating. The problems are obvious and in plain sight but seem to have been overlooked for years.

Upon entering our room it was clear the cleaning wasn't completed. The bed looked as if it has been slept in. Covers pulled back and the pillows were scattered. There was trash in the trash can and removed clothing tags in various locations. All the dresser draws were opened as in various degrees and the "non" smoking room reeked of cigarettes. We were moved to anothe room. This room appeared that housekeeping had done it's job. However, if you are staying for quality internet service. Forget about it. Also, the cable TV was very limited and the service was like cable from the 90's.

The grounds and the lobby are really nice. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The Hotel is very much in need of renovating. When you walk in the Hotel, the lobby and elevators are dirty and have rotten baseboards. We stepped into our room and smelled a mildew odor, the carpet was old and stained, the drapes are stained, the tile shower has dirty grout, the shower nozzle was broken and had to call maintenance to replace it.

We attended a wedding at the resort it was beautiful! The resort accomodated evey request! It was clean the staff were friendly! The list of ammenities go on and on! This resort has a breathtaking view of toledo bend! We will definetly be returning for a longer stay!

We had a great time at Cypress Bend Resort. This was our second time staying. They actually didn't have the original room I booked but made sure to accommodate me, my husband and four kids in a suite that fit our needs.

We have reserved a room with two queen beds and were told at check in that we were switched by the manager to a king bed. This was AFTER we went to our room. We had to initiate all the conversations with the resort and were never offered any sort of compensation for the room switch. Needless to say, sleeping on a couch instead of a bed is not what I paid for. I would not recommend staying at this resort as they will not address their mistakes and offer to fix them

Nothing can top Cypress Bend resort. Book a trip with LTD guide service in the morning , played golf in the evening. Wife went shopping . Love the grounds , resort is absolutely gorgeous.

The food was great as well as the service. Room was good but not great. Golf course was amazing except for 3 greens which were pretty rough. Tee to green was fantastic...very scenic...my new favorite course! Eric in the pro shop was great!

This property was a disappointment. The area is beautiful however we were put in a handicap accessible room which we did not ask for, with a roll in shower that flooded the entire bathroom when we used it. Hot tub was broken heated pool was not even warm. The whole place had a musty smell. Not likely to ever stay again

The property is in disrepair and badly in need of some updates. The door to the room had been damaged and the pillows were yellow. One pillow had black spots. I brought the concerns to the front desk. They were unbothered. I ended up cutting my trip short and leaving. Please read the recent reviews and you'll see many people have had similar experiences. Don't book with them.

Would be nice if you could let guest know when there's a wedding going on. Once we checked in was told to park truck and boat at end of parking lot because of wedding going on, cool, no big deal. Went to order food, will be about an hour wait bc of wedding, ok we'll wait so we ordered drinks and looked at menu, went to order, no fried food can be ordered bc of wedding. After having to unhook boat and drive to town to get supper we go to room. Wedding Reception is going on and could hear music and people constantly in hall ways pretty much all night ..... by all means not blaming y'all or wedding, I get it, it's a celebration and they should have been having a good time but a warning before booking room woulda been nice. Another thing fishermen leave early to go fishing , but man, left at 6am and no breakfast, got back at 10am no breakfast. Would have been nice to have something to eat being town is such a long drive to go get something...... over all nice place and bad luck that went the same time as a wedding but nice place to stay just not as relaxing or enjoyable as I woulda liked for a couples get away. Side note, lots of plugins are broken and laying on ground, may be a electrical accident waiting to happen.

The shower has little to no pressure because 1/2 the water comes out of the tub faucet when engaged. The air conditioner sounds like a freight train is going to come through the wall at any minute. The sink in the bathroom has no hot water. The curtains are see through and do not block light from the sidewalk lamps. This is not a resort, I’ve had motels at 1/4 the price. We also ate dinner and had to wait 1hr for salad and soup. Kids were running up and down the halls until 12 midnight and hotel staff was called starting at 10PM and they never would come and stop it.

Let me first start off and say i should have listened to the reviews. This was my first time staying here and i was there with my family for the major league fishing event. Upon arrival the outside is very beautiful, now the inside is a different story the hallways are disturbing. We stayed in the suit building and didn't have hot water for our entire stay. The heat in the room ran non stop and wouldn't hold 72 degrees in the room. We ate at the resort and the food was wonderful, but clearly they are seriously understaffed. We sat in the dining area for over 20 minutes listening to the staff talk non stop and bs with each other. Finally I went to the front desk and he had to go see what was going on then told us to go sit at the bar which was across the main area. They had one server and she was working as hard as possible but couldn't keep up with everything. Our bill for 5 was over 100 with a very limited selection of food. I can't really say very many positive things about this resort other than the view and the walking path.

I absolutely loved this place! It was secluded, quiet and nice. The bed was also comfortable. I actually grew up in the area but no longer have anywhere to stay; you can't find a safer place than this area.

No hot water in shower for two days, multiple requests to front desk to have it fixed. Was told that it works but it is just finicky! One sink did not work at all, mold on door frames. No attempts from management to correct issues or offer to change rooms! Horrible property!

Check in was delayed to 4PM. Property is near the lakeshore with beautiful golf course adjacent to hotel. Hotel is very nice but key amenities are lacking: no microwave in the hotel room forces purchase of expensive resort snacks and meals. Significant drive to external restaurants or grocers stores. No WIFI reception. Cell phone service is slow depending on carrier. TV cable service is limited selection and some stations blacked out by the provider. If you don’t need thise amenities, this would be a great place to relax.

Beautiful sunset views over the lake, great hamburger from the grill. Only hiccup was the internet had been out for 3 days so I had to do all my work in the lobby. Also, they put me in a room with the parking lot view instead of the Lake. They were obviously NOT full as there were maybe 5 cars in the parking lot. Hardly anybody there during the week but told me there were no other rooms. Disappointing, but nice place overall.

Very difficult to find. Place was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. No trash cans in room but they brought us one. We really missed having a microwave. Got in late, got food to go from downstairs but by the time we got to our room it needed warming. Could not even heat up coffee. Vanity needs updating. Be nice to have a few more signs along the way. Beautiful area.
