Cute gem of a place about 4mi off the highway! Great breakfast and nice bar at check in! Unique, but in a good way!
3.0 / 10.0
Room was clean, but for 130$ a night and a 100$ holding fee when you check in was not worth it. Forget about parking next to your room as well, there was very limited parking spots. Our shower had zero water pressure, it took 10 minutes to get shampoo out of my hair. Then the soaps, lotions, and hair products they give you called “pure” smelt like lemon pledge. The blankets they give you on the beds are just sheets and then they give you to scratchy blankets that feel like memory foam padding. Then my fiancé and I decided to check out the bar, it was ridiculously over priced. We got a double shot of “gold label jack” one bottled Budweiser and a coke. It costed us 40$ and then if you want breakfast you have to walk outside to the main house, and finally at the end of our stay. We had the hotel workers knock on our door at 9am asking if we were still there because “most people leave earlier than check out time” is what she stated. It’s a lovely idea of a hotel from the pictures and I think if you want to go the extra mile and get a room in the main house it would probably be worth your money.

Entrance to this property is difficult to see at night. The house is an antiquity and quite beautiful. A look back into the past. The bed is quite comfortable. Breakfast was very good and hot. The only thing I missed was a hot waffle.
The only downside was street noise through the night. It was sparce but noticeable and included train horns as they went through crossings. Fortunately, I like train sounds.

The hotel is historical in nature. The main building being build at the beginning of Annistion. It style and look is a trill to the sees. Rooms are spaces, with a large bathroom. The staff when out of their way to make my stay comfortable, and was always helpful. We plan to go back next year if not sooner.

The hotel was like a normal hotel, nothing fancy. The mansion made up for most of it. It was spectactular! We walked around taking all kinds of pictures. The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions about the property.

The architecture of the big house is breathtaking

Nice, clean, smells great! The shower was needing to be cleared because it was backing up. Beds were comfy. It was a nice room.

Overall a great place to stay. The dated building showed in many ways and while this can be a positive, there were times where it just felt ugh.
Breakfast was great, but I kept having to ask the staff for things when it would run out. One time I went to the kitchen door to ask and no one was in sight, but I heard three voices chatting together farther back in the kitchen. I gave up and didn't get the milk I needed.
Front desk staff was very friendly, but I didn't feel clear at first on where I needed to go to check in, and had to call to ask.

I wish all hotel stays were this nice. The property was super clean and the staff was very nice.
The only few negatives (and they arent even that bad) were:
The area was a little "shady", but then again, it was in the city. This was equalled out by it being totally gated, which we loved about it.
It was a little hard (at night anyway) to figure out how to enter the property but a quick call to the hotel remedied that and we were able to enter pretty quickly.
Lastly, all of our windows were unlocked and there were no screens on them. I'm sure housekeeping probably had them open to air it out while cleaning and forgot to lock them back. I just wanted to make others aware of that in case they had littles with them.
Other than those few things, we loved it.
There's a bar on site, and there's a full breakfast served in the main house, which was delicious. There was a variety of areas to enjoy your breakfast in as well, and all were beautiful options.
I highly recommend this hotel. I know our family will be utilizing it anytime we are in the area.

Lots of black flies and gnats in the room! Maybe because it was ground floor! Hair in the bathroom wasn’t desirable for sure!

The hotel is older but well maintained. The house where breakfast is served seems to be 100 years old but is beautiful...like a Victorian mansion. The only thing i didn't like was the neighborhood around was noisy with loud cars and trucks late at night but that is out of control of the hotel staff. It wasn't so loud that i didn't fall asleep though.

Nice property. Breakfast is served in what was once a mansion and the rooms are in a separate building adjoining this former mansion.

If you’re looking for an upscale motel type property this is it. But I went for a conference and it. Was dirty and nasty not what I would typically go for

We stayed in one of the suites in the house. First off it did not have an elevator so you we carrying your luggage up the stairs. There are no bell men to help or any staff except in the check in building. Also there were no air units in each suite. When we arrived central ac was 76 degrees. Also we did not receive housekeeping the entire time we stayed there. It was very disappointing

Location was great. Property was unique. Room was very clean and comfortable. Disappointed in breakfast buffet at 8:30 on a Saturday, it was depleted and no sign of any more being brought out - didn’t see any staff around. Hotel was fully booked so maybe demand was greater than expected. Overall, would recommend the property because we felt safe and our room had everything we needed.

This really isn’t a bad hotel, probably one of the better places to stay in this town to be honest. It does have a fully fenced parking lot, which is nice. Also, it does have a pool.
I would say the area around the hotel within the town could be a little on the rougher side, but overall the property was decent

The room was not the way it looked on the internet, maybe if we had a room in the main house it would’ve. Everyone was very nice, especially the guy in charge of breakfast.

The room was clean, water was hot, staff was spectacular, and the place is wonderfully manicured. I was in the middle of town and felt like I was on a resort.
