Amara Resort & Spa was amazing. The room had a beautiful view of Oak Creek and red rock mountains of Sedona. The bar and restaurant were very good. Location is great for shopping and exploring the hiking trails.

Resort is small & there was two weddings so was full. Couldn’t enjoy pool area due to wedding guest complained loudly and putting other guests down. Food was not good under cooked meat & burger (taste)Bed not comfortable and sheets were stained. Complaint was taken but not honorable.

Property is amazing. Upgraded to king suite overlooking oak creek and worth every penny. Many great amenities on property. Good restaurant. Located in uptown where many restaurants and shopping. They transport you there in a golf cart which makes it easy to get to and back. We didn’t use the spa but it looked amazing. I highly recommend

This hotel never disappoints. It is very centrally located. Being able to walk to the shops and dinner. The rooms are big and clean all with a little patio or balcony. You have a great view of the rocks from the pool and the deck and breakfast area. I would definitely recommend if you want to stay in town.

An absolute gem! This resort offers great customer service from arrival to departure. The valet team of Matt & Cruz were friendly and efficient. The entire front desk staff and Kat and Raina providing elevated personal service. The room was spacious and daily housekeeping was thorough. Great location, central and walking distance to many restaurants and shops.

Beautiful view from pool. Would prefer waiter/waitress to be poolside. A little inconvenient to order online from code for pool delivery. We had a adjustments needed to items ordered and/or questions, and no one was as the pool bar stand, hardly ever, so had to go inside for service for the most part.

Overall, we were pleasantly surprised. Great views, food and spa. Tonya was outstanding for our facials. Kimberly and James were amazing for massages. Only negative was when we checked in we were never offered any welcome gift, champagne or restaurant gift card like the other guest did. We brought this up to the manager Kat and she didn’t seem to care! Other than that, we loved it.

The room, facilities, restaurant and pool area are great. The shining star for us is the staff. We arrived late and they were very welcoming, hospitable and helpful. Throughout our stay the staff never disappointed. If you take clean comfortable rooms, great onsite restaurant, throw in a great pool and bar and add an excellent staff you can’t lose. We loved it.

Comfortable. However when you boom here you are trapped due being at the bottom of the hill and waiting on valet anytime you want to leave. Resort is secluded and peaceful with great ambiance. Spa doesn’t compared to big city all inclusive spas although the price reflects those spas. But the service and individual employees are great. Restaurant is ok.

Fantastic stay in an incredible place. Great location with easy access to shopping, restaurants and hiking trails. The staff is very kind, and will even take ugly up to the shopping area and back when requested via golf cart. The resort was impossibly clean and every room smelled wonderful (still don’t know how they managed that) will definitely be coming back again for another stay

Overall, this resort is intended for families with small children instead of adults/couples. While the ambience and scenery was nice and the restaurant was convenient, the unattended noise from unattended children running in hallways or playing boisterously in the pool by splashing other people continuously didn’t leaving me wanting to return here. I did observe guests smoking marijiuana from their balcony on the second floor facing the pool on more than one occasion and while the valet staff was extremely friendly, our car was never ready when we asked for it; there was always a wait time. Okn our last night there was not signage to notify guests that the valet was off/closed early; instead I had to go inside and do some detective work. The guest I was traveling with noted a leak in the bathroom and we did have to call the front desk several times to replace toilet tissue. There were some pain points and it wasn't a seamless vacation.
