What a disgrace. Evacuated from the hotel after one night and not a single thing about a refund from EXPEDIA. WHAT A SCAM!
3.7
Great location, wonderful pools, right next to beach and restaurants.
3.7
Hotel was very clean, and staff very nice. The only thing I did not like was paying for parking, it should be free for guests.
3.7
Too big hotel, the lobby can hold a brigade, cozy as an abbatoir. Food looks good but tasteless. Rooms are very good but Hotels.com "standard room" has not see view. 75 % of all rooms has see view.
3.7
Excellent location on quiet sunny bay. Rooms clean enough and modern. Breakfast buffet plentiful. Reception staff rude and unhelpful, dont speak English well enough to handle complaints. Extra charge for everything: parking, beach towels, safe etc

A massive hotel with all of the facilities that you would expect for a hotel of the size. Very close to both the sea/the beach and the town centre, so in a handy location. It had two pools and a decent sized number of loungers around them. The entertainment was okay but was more designed for pensioners from what we saw.
It is better than the drive from the main road would have you believe.
The rooms are large and reasonably well equipt though ours could have done with shelf in the bathroom and ideally one in the shower as well. The shower was good/pwerful. The downside was that the bathroon smelt, but this may have been the type of water being used to flush the toilet.
Lots of people seemed really happy with their stays and were return visitors. We thought that the hotel was good/okay, but let down by a few minor points:
In most cases the breakfast and evening meal food (buffet items) were much colder than you would expect, but we did find out that there was a Microwave to warm things up on the last day of our stay, hence they must have had this comment from a number of people.
Things like the drinks machine were often out of juice and this was early on during the meal, hence it points to them not being checked regularly.
The waiting staff at meal times were a real mix from helpful/friendly to downright grumpy. To counter this the reception staff were all just very nice and helpful. Well done to them!
If I was to stay again, I would go B&B rather than half board.

Large clean rooms. Our room overlooked the car park where there were frequent bus and taxi drop-offs which could be a little noisy. Communal areas are large and clean, but lack character. Quality of breakfast was disappointing.
3.7
The Dinner was terrible, although 50 Euro per week do not lead to great expectations. Less variety but better quality would make more sense. Run down gym studio.
Very good bathrooms. Nice village of puerto naos.
3.7
The food was awful which I think is a difficult thing to do in Spain as over all the food on the island was fantastic.
The staff at reception were to the most part rude and completely disinterested in helping.

My partner and I had a reasonably great stay at this hotel. It is in a nice location near the beach, with great facilities on site. There are local shops (SPAR) and many restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, if you want to venture out further than this area, you will need a vehicle.
Our hotel room was always kept clean, and the hotel cleaning staff always happy to say hello. In our opinion the food was catered more to people from Germany, but that's not a criticism. My partner is vegan, and found it quite hard to eat at dinner due to many dishes containing meat.
Word of warning, they do not provide free drinking water during evening meals. We were told off for providing our own water, to which I took up with the hotel, however, it is their policy and the member of staff that I discussed it with, found it strange we would do that. They do provide bottled water at a cost, but we'd wanted to reduce the amount of waste.
Overall a great experience, slightly ruined by their weird policies on drinking water.

Very clean comfortable and spacious hotel. Aloof and miserable staff on reception couldn't raise a smile or pleasant greeting throughout the check in process ....barman not much better ....made for a depressing welcome ........however, rooms exceptionally clean ...maids cheery and attentive ....breakfast variety good but not for an english breakfast ....cheap mini hot dog sausages though bacon, eggs and beans at least were available. Awful weak coffee machine. Lovely pool area to front and another to rear. Bus stop at road the top of entrance. Hotel guests almost entirely german ... nice enough folk but very stiff, dull and reserved which reflected in the general souless atmoshere of this vast hotel ... nobody seems to smile here or actually look like their enjoying themselves! ...perhaps that explains the miserable staff! TV had paramount film, cnn and bbc world news in english. Very welcome surprise was they brought a bottle of cava in an ice bucket with some fruit nibbles to my room on my birthday ... lovely that ...well done.Easy walk to beach, prom and restaraunts ( el -rincon was the best by far ...avoid Brisa and the surly waitress)

Sunnier side of the island, a lovely beach and port town. Renovation of hotel not complete, but very clean, check in staff could be sharper
3.7
The hotel is still noy finished being renovated, but its already looking good, and in a couple of months time should be great

We arrived one day after a massive storm that wrecked havoc on the west coast, there was visible damage by the main pool and the beach was cordoned for the whole week. Beautiful high waves were the only compensation.
Rooms are spacious and functional, the view of the ocean from the terrace is very nice.
Hotel staff were handy where possible, sometimes struggling to understand English.
Breakfast buffet is correct with good variety and honest quality, though very busy.

The hotel was in a bad shape, everything is very old and feels unclean. The feeling after the trip was genuin unsatisfied.

There was an older lady at reception who was very unfriendly, when we came to ask questions it looked like we were bothering her, and her tone when answering was condescending, as if our questions were stupid.
We were in a superior room and everything was OK until some people got into the room just above us. The soundproofing is VERY bad and just them walking heavily was enough to wake us up, shaking the walls and ceiling. We went to complain 4 times and they did nothing, saying they went there and heard no noises. OF COURSE, it's when they stomp that they wake us up !!
Also, half our room was right under their terrace, meaning we would also hear every time they decided to move the sun beds around to follow the sun.
Don't get fooled by the "Air cond" tick box, at least in the superior rooms it's completely useless because the fresh air is blown in the corridor, NOT in the bedroom. Even if you let it blow all the time, it will never cool the room. You'll have a cold entrance, then a stupid hot bedroom.
The cleanliness of the room was also disappointing, there was a lot of tartar in the bath tub, looked always stained. And the cleaners were a bit weird, when we used our little "please clean our room" sign, they just changed the towels and redid the bed. No sweeping, mopping, clean sheets, they didn't even cleaned our used cups and glasses ! They did that only on the 8th day ??
Don't bother with the gym either, the equipment is falling apart and half the weights are missing.

probably the best food selection we've had in the Canaries.

First impressions were of a large, dated and tired-looking hotel close to the black sands of Puerto Naos. Check-in process was rather laborious, but as we had chosen a superior room our misgivings soon disappeared. In contrast to the majority of the other rooms, we had an enormous sunny balcony with an incredible view of the ocean and our own private sun beds. The room itself, although in need of updating, was clean, quiet and comfortable. The large bathroom was a bit antiquated, with an unpredictable shower, but perfectly adequate.
We had opted for accommodation with Half Board and were not disappointed with the quantity and quality of food available. It was a buffet-style service with lots of choice. Once again, the restaurant was in need of refurbishment, but other than that there were plenty of staff and tables were quickly cleared.
There was some sort of live entertainment most nights, which was aimed at the older residents, and not quite our preference, but we were happy to escape to our room to enjoy the sounds of waves breaking on the rocks.
All in all, we wanted a comfortable hotel to use as a base for our hiking holiday, and as we were out every day, it was ideal for us. It was great value for money and added to our enjoyment of a wonderful holiday on this beautiful island.

Nice hotel if a little tired looking now.built in 1990 and it is showing.
Room was OK although we were unlucky with position as on second floor with poor views of sea.(paid for a sea view).
Buffet dinner average, breakfast ok nothing bad nothing overly exciting.
Evening entertainment poor not that we were ther for it but was quite annoying that both main gigs were seemingly cancelled at the very last minute - really wondered if there was any real intention.
So not overly exciting but was reasonably priced and a good base for us.turn right out of hotel and very nice quite beach a couple of miles away.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The food was great and staff were delightful, especially the guy who was on restaurant reception and also a waiter, whose smile was joyous. The room was huge with a great sea view. We found the pool warm, enough sun beds. Altogether, a great holiday.
3.7
We had a nice room overlooking the sea. however there were areas of loose floor tiles in the room and also balcony. We found the food to be amazingly good in the hotel, very fresh and tasty with a lot of variety. Main pool areas of hotel could do with an overhaul. parts of the hotel felt derelict and empty.
3.7
Good hotel fantastic views if you upgrade to executive. Too busy at breakfast and food not fantastic. No proper fresh juice and machine coffee. I would go back but only to an executive room and they are a little overpriced!
3.7
it was a very nice and quiet town , just the right amount of bars and resturants
3.7
Nice stay but the room I received (at a low rate) was near the hotel entrance, at times causing noise when tour buses (excursions) departed and arrived, also late in the evening (people talking loud for quite a while). Elsewhere the hotel is quiet. In general this rather large hotel is a beautiful place with large areas both inside and outside. Very good and practical pool area. Good service and friendly staff but sometimes you have to wait a quite a while at the reception desk (understaffed, perhaps). Good breakfast. The hotel is outside any town except a small village approximately 500 meters away. Here there are a few restaurants and bars. There is a nice beach nearby with back sand but no facilities except an ice cream kiosk.
3.7
Only one night, was impressed with the hotel staff who came immediately when we had 2 little problems ti fix in the room.
3.7
Setting was perfect overall I was impressed with the hotel.
The thing that let it down was the quality of the food compared with other hotels on the island
3.7
The hotel was great overall and the staff are very helpful. Only criticism is that the hotel decor and feel is a little dated, but its location and value easily outweigh this.
3.7
Slightly dated hotel but with a good layout. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful - in fact, every member of staff who passed by smiled and gave us a very pleasant 'Good Morning!'
The lounge/reception area is large and with plenty of sofas and chairs. The WiFi connection was very good and probably about 6 other people were on devices using the connection when we were there and our connection didn't falter.
The buffet breakfast offered what must surely be every combination known to man (not all swans and roses but still excellent fare) and again the staff were exceptionally pleasant. Used plates were cleared quickly and tables made ready for the next guests.
I would just comment that the music from the live trio in the evening was a little too loud for me. Although we were actually sat there to listen to the music and watch the trio, if I had been sat at the bar and not interested in the music, I would have found it a slightly negative point.
The swimming pool overlooking the sea is lovely and the beach with restaurants is just a few minutes away.
At the moment, they are renovating the promenade - hopefully that will be finished soon.
