We love Cambria and we are so happy that we found this charming inn for a reasonable price. Close to everything, quiet, clean, and very roomy. The complimentary happy hour was so nice, with tasty cocktail specials and appetizers. We will come back here on our next trip to Cambria.

This is an older 2 story hotel right on Main Street in downtown Cambria. Our room was a suite with a king sized bed. A microwave, mini fridge, and a pour-over coffee setup (Great idea!!). There was also an electric fireplace which helped take the chill off and provided ambiance. We were on the 2nd floor, which was good because this IS an older hotel and you would here heavy walkers if you're on the first floor. Our room looked down on backside of the hotel which has a lovely patio area and large gas firepit with festive lighting. Great free happy hour with craft cocktails and a snack in a cozy reception area. We were in walking distance to many great restaurants. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

A VERY roomy yet cozy King Suite in a charming street in Cambria. Complimentary happy hour by the firepit. Loved it. We will be back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Super cute and clean hotel. Placed in a prime location of Cambria, next to lots of shops, restaurants, and cafes!

We have family in Cambria and stay at the Rigdon House 80% of the time when visiting. Its a quaint B&B type hotel, quietly tucked in a corner off main street, so its within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. We've stayed there 6x the past 2+ years and love it. The staff is friendly and attentive.
That said, the rooms are becoming a little outdated and in need of an upgrade. The beds are a little too soft and the furniture is wearing out and becoming uncomfortable. Our shower barely had enough water pressure to completely rinse after soap and shampoo. And one of our bathroom sinks was clogged and drained slowly. Mind you, it didn't ruin our stay (the room was clean and attended to daily) but its a bit like your own home that hasn't been painted or upgraded the past 20-years. Sooner or later, everything wears out and you need to invest to upgrade.
We still recommend staying there as the rates are very competitive compared to other options close by.

Above our expectations. Was more like an air BnB . Large living / bed room area w mini fridge/ microwave. Big bathroom. Clean clean clean. It had a vintage feel. So Cool. Large outdoor patio suitable for wedding parties/ grad parties. Large gas fire ring. Very cozy. Highly recommended.

The Rigdon House is an amazing place to stay. Happy hour was great and so were the drinks. And the entire property is dog friendly.

We are a family of five and booked the two bedroom suite for just one night. It was perfect for our needs; comfortable, spacious and clean. The hotel has a lot of character with a modern finish. We were delighted with the warm welcome we received and enjoyed happy hour where there were cocktails, beers and wine for the adults and plenty of options for the children, too. This was, unbelievably, included in the price! There were also many little treats available as snacks which we could help ourselves to. The lounge area was superb and the location of the hotel was brilliant. We walked into town to Lyns for a lovely evening meal. Wished we had extended our stay at this gem of a hotel, in Cambria.

We really enjoyed our stay at this historic inn right near wonderful downtown Cambria. We were able to walk to great dining and cute shops. The inn features a happy hour from 5-7pm with wine, cocktails and house-made appetizers. Very friendly staff. We had a huge king suite on the first floor with very comfortable bed, great shower, fridge and microwave. The inn doesn’t provide breakfast, but they have a great variety of snacks, coffee & tea, and fruit to enjoy. We will definitely stay here again.

I like the classic look of this hotel. I would visit and stay at the Rigdon in the near future.

We rented a 2 bedroom that was for 5 adults. The pictures appeared to show 3 distinct areas. However, only 2 bedrooms that were connected with no privacy. If you needed to use the 1 bathroom in the middle of the night you had to pass through the other bedroom. We all slept fully clothed and the next night my husband and i found a separate lodging. Also, no one on the premises to address any question. No breakfast on the property either. Was not meant for our purposes. Perhaps a couple with small children.

This hotel is a gem, they are pet friendly and have a fantastic back patio with fire pit where you'll always meet nice people at happy hour. The facilities are very nice and well maintained, though our particular room seemed to be one of the few left to be updated and so needed some deep cleaning and light repairs. The updated rooms look very nice from what I can tell. The staff is amazing and friendly and work super hard to make sure your visit is exceptional.

This is a great, high quality boutique hotel in a great location with easy walking to Ghiradella to the west and the wharf/Pier 39 to the east. The staff was very helpful. We had the shower/soaking tub suit, which was amazing. Record players in room were fun. The chairs could be more comfortable (very firm/hard). Parking and City tax/fees were more than we expected. Overall, though, we were very happy with the room, staff and location.

Recently stayed at the Rigdon House with my family for my daughter’s birthday she wanted to see the Hearst castle, we decided to stay in Cambria. What’s not to love about the Rigdon House- the facility is clean , comforting and the staff is warm and friendly. It’s walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town , there are porcelain tea cups for you to make tea, coffee, cocoa and hot cider in it and happy hour goes on every night. Big shout out to Cristian who truly made everyone felt at home 💙 would most definitely stay here again when I visit in the summer .

We stayed twice going on the way to NoCal, then back home. We brought friends the second time and they loved it. The location is very convenient for walking around town and right across the street from Robins, one of our favorite restaurants in town. The room was spacious and comfortable with everything we needed and our dog was welcome with a biscuit jar at the front desk plus there were human treats too. Happy hour included a delicious carmelized onion flat bread house made and a full bar. We will definitely be returning to the Rigdon House.

Classic historic boutique hotel. I stay here every time I come to the Cambria area. Rooms are always clean, all the rooms I have stayed in have separate bedroom and living room. A two-minute walk to restaurants, shopping, etc. Their daily happy hour (including with your stay) is terrific--appetizers, mixed drinks/cocktails, wine.

We really enjoyed our stay. The happy hour was lots of meeting and visiting with other guests. The complimentary drinks were great along with pizza. The room was very big and the bed was very comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here.

We rented the family suite for a girls' weekend. It had one king and two queen beds in two bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable. We were concerned that the suite had only two bathroom for six women, but it became a non-issue. The Rigdon House is charming and welcoming and within steps of shopping and dining in Cambria. We definitely would stay here again!
