The hotel was clean, updated, and had nice details. Each of the staff was very friendly and gave good suggestions for food and directions to where we were headed. I will stay here whenever i visit the area.

The staff was friendly and the place was clean. It was the 1st time I have been to a hotel and the 2 beds in the room were full size and not queen. So, sleep two people on it was not very comfortable plus my feet hung off the bed. It was only one night so not the end of the world. But the complaint and the reason we will never stay there again. At 1am to 4am there was a very loud most likely drunk man, smoking pot in the hallway keeping me and my family up. He was going in and out the door that led to the lobby (we were on the 1st floor) which make a clanking sound each time. I was not ready to start an altercation with my family in the room and he was talking with someone in the lobby, whether it was the desk clerk I could not tell. If it was then what the heck are these employees doing, if not then why would the clerk not tell him to stop on go to his room. Or call the police! There was no way they would not know the amount of commotion he was causing. It was ridiculous the worst night at a hotel I ever had.

Parkview desk employees were phenomenal. Guided me to an amazing late night deli located just nehind rhe hotel! They were friendly and very helpful! My room was very clean and comfy!

Decent proximity to SU but some basics would improve one’s stay. Room smelled like mildew. Shampoos would help. Room was decently clean otherwise

Worst mattresses and pillows ever. A new low to be better by. Breakfast is free, but skip it and don’t book here for the breakfast, it’s not great. Windows are original and do not block highway noise from late night cruising. And look like they have not been cleaned since 1920. The windows can not be opened to let in fresh air. In room a/c units either cool or not. Mostly they just freeze your toes as they are at the foot of the bed☹️ If you need to stay a night or more in Syracuse, do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere. Front desk staff is very indifferent. Somehow they do not understand that without customers, they will be without a job. Next time business calls me to Syracuse, I will definitely stay elsewhere. Parkview is : Over rated Over priced

It was ok. We stayed just one night while visiting our son in Syracuse. The neighborhood is not very nice (highways) but the hotel was surprisingly quiet. Bathroom was cute. Carpet made the whole room feel a little obsolete … mattress was too hard for me but my husband slept well! TV is cable no HBO.

After a disappointing stay at the Parkview Hotel last year, I was hesitant to return. I was really impressed in the turnaround they have made. The current staff are professional and friendly and I couldn't have been happier. The restaurant was serving breakfast again, and while there is not a big selection it was very good. One of the other members in our party also commented on how much better this stay was than the previous one. Thank you!

While it seems to be a very old building, it appears to be well maitained. It was quiet and comfortable. If i have to be knot picky my only issue was all the burned out light bulbs. Only 2 bulbs were working.

Selected this hotel for the proximity to Syracuse University. Rate did not match room. Arrived to a pile of dirty sheets outside the front door. Room was clean-ish but bathroom could’ve used a bit more attention. Not horrible just not fabulous. Staff was kind and informative.

Close to SU which is what I wanted. Clean and friendly place. Tv wasn’t working on night one but I reported it in the morning and it was fixed when I came back that evening. Breakfast was ok. Eggs or another source of protein would be a nice addition.

The staff at The Parkview were amazing. From random conversations with the cleaning staff to Spencer at the front desk giving me tips on places to check out, my stay was wonderful. I was moving my child into Syracuse University, but I also had to work from the room each morning. The desk was perfect and the room was quiet and very comfortable. I will absolutely be staying there again when I visit my student! Thank you!
