Very large comfortable room, very clean. Great location. Staff helpful and friendly. Allowed us to check in early and check out late(thank you)! Would definitely stay again

What a fabulous Hotel!!! The view of the Alps and St. Moritz lake was fabulous! The room was amazing! Amazing woodwork and room layout! The Staff was so kind and we had a wonderful time in such a beautiful hotel!

It was a good three star hotel. I little disappointed that instant coffee wasn’t provided in the room. Despite being close to the station you still have to walk uphill and depending the way you go, stairs (there was a street lift, but it was broken the morning we left). Staff were very efficient and kind and the room super clean.

It was drizzling and cloudy when we arrived. I informed the reception that the heaters were not working and asked if she could come to our room to check the issue. She said there was no need and that she would check their boiler first. From her tone, I could tell she was already aware that the heaters were not working and had no intention of fixing the issue. That night was extremely cold, and we both fell very ill. No explanation. No apology. It's your call whether you want to stay here or not

The hotel staff were very polite and kind.

Staff were friendly & helpful because we had an issue with the type of one of the rooms we had booked. It was a double & we needed a twin room. Staff changed the room for us. Hotel was within walking distance of shops, places to eat & a supermarket. Although if you want to walk from the train station it’s all uphill so not an easy trek. Might have been better if the escalator in town was working but it was under maintenance, so if available would recommend a taxi. Hotel was comfortable, beds were good & lollies at front counter a nice touch.

Steep slope to reach

On our 4 days trip, this hotel provided us with the biggest room. We arrived after the reception was closed, but our key and some complementary Toblerone were left in an envelope opposite to reception. The hotel inside looks very authentic and pretty. I liked the features on the corridors. The room was clean, spacious and the beds were really comfy. The next day I checked in and then straight out because we were leaving St. Moritz behind.

I appreciate for the reply message from hotel about the check in system for rate arrival .

Nice stay and views from the breakfast area!
Close to restaurants, bars, and shopping! Bring your walking shoes as the entire city is built on the side of a mountain and the streets are often very steep. I walked from the train station up very steep streets to the Hotel with about 50 pounds of luggage and it was strenuous!
Unless you’re in pretty good shape physically, I suggest travelers take a taxi from the train station to the Hotel.

Very friendly staff. A bit far from the train station so had to use taxis for baggage haul.

Staff was very helpful!

Lovely property

A bit of a climb to get to hotel as village is up on a hill.
No one on reception from 1200 until 1500.
So if you arrive between those times unable to speak with staff or checking in earlier.
Our room had wonderful views over the lake and mountains , stunning!

The hotel itself is very old fashioned but they are working on some updates. It is worth it however to stay here just for the views! Our room had a view of the entire Lake St moritz and it was absolutely breathtaking! Walkable to the lake as well. Would stay here again

Breakfast was not included and the lady which did our check in told us there was two types of breakfast:
Continental for $12.50 (Just bread and coffee) and Buffet for $23.50.
We decided to go with the continental breakfast of just bread and coffee but when we did our check out they charged us for the Buffet. We insisted in the fact that the girl at the check in said there were two types of breakfast but the person in charge at that moment said no, there's only one breakfast.
I did not like that.

Great location.

I had a very poor experience with the man at the front desk. He overcharged my card claiming I didn’t inform him about everyone staying in my room. But I did upon check in and everyone staying in my room was present. When I tried to explain and protest he told me he would charge more if I kept talking!!! Not only this but he was rude and gave me the wrong directions to a very basic tourist spot when I asked for help during my stay. I had to wait an extra half hour to check in because he was no where to be found. The beds are uncomfortable and I got bug bites all over my legs. Not worth your money! Worst customer service.

The room was remarkably clean and spacious. Very nice accommodations for St. Moritz. Perfect location to catch the Glacier Express.
4.4
The scenery from the hotel is amazing, but too bad that was disrupted by cranes 🏗️ everywhere.
4.4
Centrally located hotel with great views of the Alps form rooms and dining room. High quality windows, shades and lighting. Quaint feeling. Self serve bar afternoon is great!
Owner very friendly. This was a summer stay.
4.4
Great view, close to the city centre.

Service was bad at this hotel. Breakfast was good. Shuttle van to the airport was good also. There was no coffee maker or tea pot in the room. We asked the front desk and the bar for a cup of hot water to make tea and they ignored us. Dinner service was super slow, about 30 minutes between courses.

A lovely hotel with beautiful lake views

Really appreciated the staffs flexibility on our request for late arrival/check in. The property itself is charming with wonderful lake view rooms and a cosy comfortable atmosphere. Glad we opted for onsite breakfast as well.

We absolutely loved this charming, boutique hotel with very friendly service. Our room was huge and very comfortable with a wonderful view. Also loved the honor bar!!
4.4
I have to begin by saying that after being dissatisfied with our room, the manager moved us to a bigger room, which he called the “comfort room.” He was accommodating and for that we are grateful.
I found that the pictures of the hotel on Expedia doesn’t reflect how dark and old this hotel feels (dark red color everywhere). The bed is not comfortable, although the room is large with big windows and a nice view. Bathroom is adequate.
Besides breakfast, which has to be booked in advance and paid separately, there’s very little service from the staff. It feels more like a boutique hotel without the personal touch.
Location is fine and it was easy to walk around St Moritz from the hotel.
Pros and cons, but if I had to do it again I’d not choose this particular hotel.

Could use their restaurant

Room outdated, bathroom needed modernization (appeared very old), room very small. You are given 2 keys, (room key & front door hotel entry key. You lock your room with a key once inside the room. After 8:00pm you need to use the hotel key to enter. Taxi from train station to hotel was $35.00 while hotel was about 3 miles away. I would not recommend staying here.
4.4
Hard to find the hotel. Desk was only open during certain hours. we arrived at 3pm and the desk did not open until 4pm. Parking had only 1 space.

Great location with spectacular views of the Matterhorn. Great fun places to eat and drink within walking distance

What a view! Room was beautiful, and breakfast person was awesome for meeting special diets.

After the walking climb up to hill from the train station, the hotel is nice and has great views of the lake and mountains!

Cosy spot. Staff very accomodating.

Languard is a truly charming hotel, with cozy furnishings, friendly staff, and stunning views out of nearly every window. Whether staying for a long time or just a short while, you’re made to feel at home. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which is overseen by the ever-attentive Mery. Would definitely return for another stay.

Amazing view to the lake and exquisit decoration of the hotel.

This property is very conveniently located, very clean but small rooms. The breakfast price charged was very high for only breads and meats.
