The stay was very good. We had visited this property in 2014 and now ten years later. The only thing we would recommend is getting faster internet as it was not always very good and getting the. television channels fixed. Besides that, the staff was very nice and everyone was kind. Thank you for making our vacation pleasant.

The Arenal Country Inn impressed me with its beautiful environment of natural beauty. I think I'll come again next time.

The grounds and the pool are first class. The breakfast is a definite plus. At the end of the day around the pool we always met interesting people. We originally booked for two nights but added three more because we liked the place so much. Close to town, waterfalls, hot springs and hikes. A+++

Great location and remarkable grounds. Easy walk to town or rope swing. Felt secure.

The hotel was simple, but very clean and Good value. Grounds had beautiful gardens and nice pool. We were a family of five and was bit difficult to find accommodations w out renting two rooms. Staff was very friendly and the free breakfast daily we thought was very good. One thing
Difficult was not having a restaurant on site for lunch or dinner . We did not have a car and walking to restaurants at night after returning from a tour was not comfortable for us as it’s a bit off the main road .
A few restaurants delivered to us and that was sufficient. My son left his device there and the staff helped me find a way to get it back.
Able to borrow umbrella, and pool towels at front desk.
Can purchase beer, snacks from front desk as well.

Staff was extremely friendly, went above and beyond, especially Jackie at the front desk who made our stay even more special. The property is very well maintained and has beautiful tropical plants all around. The room was very clean.

Separate cottages with 3 or 4 rooms each. Great staff (Jackie & her sister). They moved us when we said our room (#1) was too noisy. Breakfast was good. Overall we loved our stay

Grounds were beautiful! Loved the trail in the back. Room was a bit noisy. Could hear lots of noise from outside which was sometimes good (birds), sometimes bad (other guests). Saw a gecko in the room almost every day (we assume he lived in there because he didn't seem to want to leave) and a large ant that kept making its way inside. We did request no room service, but our room was still cleaned so maybe they misunderstood our request as we didn't want anyone in the room. Thankfully, they do provide a safe which was great. Breakfast was good and fast if you want to get an early start to your day. Grounds seemed very safe and a few good restaurants within walking distance, but still far enough away from the bustle of downtown for it to be quiet.

Cheap and cheerful…Nice grounds, but a very dated hotel but it was cheap by Costa Rica standards.

This hotel is close to town, but has a quiet location with a great view of the volcano. Restaurants and town within walking distance. Delicious typical Costa Rican breakfast served outdoors in photo. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Property is really nice full of trees and lots of birds, I would stay there again if I get a room away from the road. Staff are really nice and helpful, Luis Miguel from the front desk will answer all your questions, good breakfast every morning, clean rooms and comfortable, the only thing we didn’t like was that we were close to the road so you can hear all the vehicles pass by day and night.

This was the gem of Fortuna. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The facilities were immaculate, the pool was fantastic. The cabins were very clean and functional. Rooms were cleaned daily and the breakfast was simple but delicious. The hotel is a 10min walk to town. There is two restaurants within 5min both amazing. I would highly recommend.

Was looking for something that was abit remote but not too far from the center of La Fortuna. Arenal Country Inn did not dissapoint. Roughly 5-10 minutes walk and you're there. I really enjoyed my stay, most of the staff know some english and are very friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean and the jungle really felt like it was outside the window. While I personally appriciate the brids and cicadas, for those who likes silence you might want to bring some earplugs. Air condition worked fine and a small fridge was usefull for some smaller things. Only thing I really can complain about is the lack of a bottle opener :)

This stay was an unexpected highlight of the trip. While only a 5 min drive/15 min walk from the heart of La Fortuna, the gated grounds feel miles away from the congestion of the city center. Strolling the lushly landscaped common areas planted with palms and giant orchids feels like exploring a botanical garden. Guestrooms are breezy but also feel super secure. The staff is friendly, the breakfast hearty, and the pool large enough for laps. They have a relationship with a neighboring restaurant that offers excellent, Costa Rican dishes and is also well worth checking out for dinner. Would definitely stay here again!

Very helpful and friendly staff. We needed to leave early and hotel gave us a breakfast package. Fridge was very old and there were some worms on the floor. This hotel is a little far from city and difficult to walk to hotel at nights

This place is extremely well maintained. The grounds are large and well treed. It is close to El Salto and not far from town. Everything about our stay was great. I will be my only choice in La Fortuna in the future.

There was plenty of privacy. The rooms were comfortable and clean - and also air-conditioned, which, in Costa Rica, if you're unaware, is a big plus. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice stay in Apr. 23. The property has beautiful territory, recessed from the road. Stay is in cute bungalos with individual entrances oer room - nice privacy. Jackie at the front desk was super helpful, offered me take away breakfast because i had to leave before the ofgicial breakfast time. Room has AC and refrigerator. Located is just a short walj to downtown La Fortuna, supermarket and 2 restaurants are just couple of minutes walk. Area is safe. Pool is beatiful and large.
