My main complaint is that it is way over-priced for what you get. Check-in when smoothly, however they do not do a daily towel service. You have to go to the front desk to get extra towels. There were no extra pillows in the room and only 1 extra blanket. The room was a decent size and had the amenities advertised. However, the blankets and sheets were poor. Very thin, one single blanket on each bed, and the sheets were not long enough to cover the length of the bunk bed mattresses. The blankets also did not cover the bunk beds- essentially a thin lap blanket was on each bunk bed. The restaurant had very good food at the buffet, however it was still over-priced as they also charge for each beverage, so it quickly adds up. They have sparce staffing in the restaurant, so we were not able to get any beverage refills because they were too busy to assist and had to stand and wait every time we were ready to go because they didn't have our check ready to sign. While the lodge offers additional entertainment- rope course, arcades, bowling, etc- they are all additional charges and all over-priced for the service or quality you get. Check out was automatic and we received an invoice after leaving that also charged us $15/day for self-parking in the lot that we were not told we would be charged. Ultimately we stayed for the water park, which was a great experience, but next time I would stay at a different hotel and do the day pass for the water park to avoid excessive price gouging.

The family bunk bed suite is a lot smaller then the pics shown . I was shocked on the small area. We had to ask for sheets and pillows for the pull out couch and bunks. We had to put on the sheets ourselves. There is no comforter on any of the beds; just army like thin blankets. I was surprised again for how much you pay for the rooms. We did get coupons for ice cream and the kids trick or treat candy from the manager due to wrong information that was told to us. That was very nice. We went mea tue-wed and the pool was packed! You wait in long lines for slides and the surfing. I’m not sure if we would go again for the price and crowdedness.

Was a great time. Nice room. Quiet in the room. The shower curtain rod is all bent and off track so the shower curtain only covered the middle part. I’d move the sofa bed to where the table is and a bigger table where the sofa bed is. Just my preference. Nice people. 5$ for a really small bag of popcorn from the machine was a little much. Can’t say a whole lot about the food. Ate a steak that was ok. Some spinach dip that was pretty good but better served with bread slices and not chips.

Didn’t like the fact that we had to charge everything and can’t pay in cash just for a small item and the pool was down for a whole day and never got compensated and there was no reason we had to pay for parking when there was plenty of parking and this property was very expensive and it’s sad that these places want to nickel and dime you for everything they even charged you a alcohol tax just to have a drink just terrible can’t these places make it more affordable to everyone to enjoy and the pool rules they do not follow them at all so very disappointed and they screwed up where they said your credit card was linked to your arm band but wasn’t so that was a a huge mess overall not impressed at all

I paid for dinning credits to be used for my stay. Each time I wanted to done, I informed my server that I had dining credits and the credits were to be used for my meal. To my surprise my credits were never used but rather my credit card was charged for the meals and now I have $100 worth of dining credits that were never used .

Amenities is great!! The reception staff seems like she’s in a rush to book us when we where checking in as well as the late check in, the pool closed early then late check in we didnt have much time to enjoy and go back to the poolside.

It was good! My kids are 11 and 12 and I would say it is for younger kids around 5-8:) It was fun they just were not into all of the stuff available to do, because of their age and there were a ton of people everywhere too:(

They texted me to tell me our room was no longer reserved due to "mechanical issues." Offered us a different room. Took the room. Checked in at 7:05 pm, the person checking me in couldn't get the bracelet scanner to work so it took a while. Found out the pool area closed at 8. By the time we got to our room the kids only had 30 minutes to use the pool and the pool attendant didn't want to let them in because it was almost time for them to close.

Great resort hotel! Waterpark was fun and as clean as a water park can be. Hotel itself had lots of fun things for family and the room was clean and in great shape with fun built in bunk beds for the kids. We ordered pizza from one of the on site food areas and it was surprisingly reasonably priced and large and very good! Overall a very fun stay and we will be going back at some point. Two thumbs up from us!

Had a great time with the family! Super clean with staff being friendly and accommodating. The lodge needs a fitness facility or onsite gym. Found it odd there was nowhere to exercise.

A great deal for our family of 4 of under $200/nt, less than nearby hotels that couldn't offer the waterpark. That said, I wouldn't pay much more to stay here and advised our local family not to bother paying the daily price for the waterpark. It's very small for the $50-70 entry price tag (day of week drives price). So we opted for attractions at the mall of america when our family came into the city. As expected, everything on the property is pricey and they charge daily for parking. Rooms are dated, not very inviting but with so much going on in the area, it provided a convenient place to sleep. Overall, if the price is right, I highly recommend! Note, this was our first GWL experience so do not have other properties to compare.

Hotel is in serious need of a remodel. Beds are horrible rooms are terrible. Paid for late check out at 1pm and had three cleaning dudes 2 min apart from each other walk in on my wife and daughter changing while I was in the shower…

I paid the hotel because my kids wanted waterpark. The price is not cheap and I expected that parking lot is included but I had to pay for this. Also I noticed that hotel charged me two significant sums except damage deposit. It costed me time to speak with staff and they ensured me that money will be returned and after few days they returned me not authorized payments but I lost around $20 on currency rate as I'm from Canada. If it didn't happen I would rate this hotel better but this is spoiled my mood, especially wasted time for figuring out

The maintenance man stood out the most even though the property itself and staff were awesome. The particular staff member went over and above for us. The downside or maybe more of a note is that the entire property does not accept cash! You must buy a prepaid credit card on site even though the one machine in lobby was not working.

It was an extremely painful check-in waited in line for over 45 minutes to get checked in. Then the next day I was interrupted while I was showering for house cleaning which they thought I was checked out, but my reservation was still for two more days.

Mall of America quarter mile away 4.5 stars due to some of waterpark slides where closed. Great for Family's of all ages.

Not great. Much smaller than one in Lake Geneva. Everything had set, limited hours like the dunks donuts, ice cream shop and waterpark which was limiting and annoying. Maybe that works better for families with younger kids. You have to walk through the area with arcade and other activities to meet water park, so kind of a long, cold walk back to your room after swimming. There are very few places to just sit in common areas of the hotel, service is really, really slow at coffee shop and front desk never seemed to have anything you tried to ask for. The upside is the staff is all really polite and they do a good job keeping everything clean. I don’t think will go back, we have the similar venues that we prefer.
