Absolutely beautiful and welcoming stay. The location is perfect for your first stay in Rome or your 70th. Near authentic restaurants, popular landmarks are all 5-10 min walking distance. On a dead end street so no thru traffic which makes for a quiet stay. Gorgeous large rooms, clean, and incredibly inviting. If you have trouble walking around, or are uneasy, this may not be the place for you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our amenities. We were met by our host who gave us ice water, a cool place to stay and homemade tiramisù. We received an upgrade, and our room was amazing. The facility was clean, inviting and close to everything in Rome.
4.7
My husband and I loved everything about this establishment. The staff were amazing, extremely attentive, and were very accommodating. This place is magical and within walking distance to anything one desires to see in Rome. We will definitely be coming back to stay when we return to Rome.

Inn At The Roman Forum
We had spectacular visit to Rome, staying at The Inn At The Roman Forum.
The hotel (with part of The Forum onsite) and room was amazing, but it was the service that really stands out.
Starting with check-in, we were helped by Sucharest (sp?) who was so kind and welcoming. He happily answered all our questions and helped us make transportation arrangements, and would not accept a tip.
Our bellman also cheerfuly brought all our luggage up to our room and gave us a detailed tour of the facilities. I wish I had asked for his name, but we were exhausted from our journey.
The staff at the bar/restaurant also went above and beyond. The restaurant terrace is beautiful, and has an amazing view of Rome, including an outdoor patio and a lookout perch.
The first night, Ian (Ayan?) served our drinks and snacks and gave us some inside tips on where to to explore.
The next day, the breakfast staff was amazing. Ayeth, Ernio, AJ and Mae took such wonderful care of us, we instantly felt like we were in a first-class resort. And the food was outstanding.
This hotel was our oasis in Rome and we can't wait to go back!

Staff are wonderful, friendly and very helpful
The hotel room itself was fantastic. Got an unexpected upgrade, which was fabulous. Breakfast is amazing and stuff was very helpful with helping to arrange transportation back to the airport. Thanks so much. I would definitely come here again.
4.7
The room was beautiful and had all the amenities you would need. The staff were excellent and very friendly. I couldn’t ask for better customer service.
4.7
The service was impeccable! A huge thank you to AJ, Eranio, Rose, and Mhae for taking great care of us at the hotel!
4.7
Perfect stay!!! The air conditioning was cold and the room was very clean. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast on the roof every morning was perfect! Location was easy walking distance from everything you would want to see on Rome.
4.7
Wonderful stay, the rooftop terrace is so special and unique, amazing to watch the sunset with a lovely cocktail

This location is great. The walkable area for shops and restaurants was excellent. You don’t have to go far for the forum and coliseum tour. The walk to the Vatican is about 1 hour but we did four monument stops, gelato and and excellent cafe for lunch on the the way to the tour. The guides are professional experts. Worth every penny. Hotel made great restaurant recs but there is a fountain with gelato and cafes around it that many people enjoyed.

Very unique and cool hotel. The first employee was very accommodating and even helped us book tix to the Vatican. Later we were locked out of our room after being in the heat all day and very jet-lagged. We were locked out for over 45 mins exhausted and had to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs to ask employees to help. They also told us the power was not going to be working in the morning 8am to noon so we were forced to wake up early, shower, get breakfast, pack bags and check out early etc... after being on a 20-hour international flight the night before, it would have been nice to sleep in. The hotel should have informed us before we booked that there would be no power. We may not have spent the $400 plus dollars to stay there.
4.7
Really cool hotel built into ancient ruins. Lovely rooftop terrace with views. Exceptional service. Room was good size and comfy. One small thing was the lighting was hard to adjust.
4.7
Fabulous hotel, location, decor, service, staff, food and amenities! We has 3 adults in one room and it was very comfortable. Loved the dining room and patio. Very walkable area, close to attractions and restaurants. Loved it!

Fantastic experience at The Inn at the Roman Forum!
Hotel staff was kind, friendly, accommodating, and helpful.
The hotel is in a great setting, just off a main street, down from the Colosseum and in a quiet area; perfect for walking and exploring the Monti neighborhood, as well as within easy walking distance to the Colosseum, Forum, Domus Aurea, etc, and more. Additionally, it's just a ~15 minute walk to Rome's main Centro Historico.
Great service, a welcomed bottle of wine (with our hotels.com Gold status), clean room, good housekeeping, and a near perfect stay.
The only thing (and wasn't a big deal) that gave me pause at first when unpacking in the Deluxe Double Room that we booked, was the bed. It was a spring mattress on a box spring instead of memory foam or another more modern type. Though it was not something we expected at a hotel of this caliber, the bed was still perfectly comfortable and we slept very well for every night of our 4 night stay.
I would highly recommend this hotel for it's location, exemplary service, unique decor, quiet location, and overall great experience.
When/If we return to Rome, I would absolutely stay here again! The hotel was one of the most unique and best hotel experiences we've had in all of our travels across 3 continents and 12+ countries.

Super friendly staff, clean property in a unique location that's near the action yet still in a quiet area.
4.7
The inn was very unique and beautiful. It was very close to the colosseum and restaurants. We had a wonderful time here.
4.7
We loved the location, the rooftop restaurant, the underground historical cellar, but most of all the friendly staff. Our waitress Rose went out of her way to welcome us with everything we needed. The front desk staff worked hard to make checkin and checkout a pleasure by providing us a comfortable cool area to drink wine and dine on some snacks before we turned in for the evening. They truly made our first visit to Rome a pleasure.
4.7
Surprisingly spacious Rooms considering being in the Heart of Rome. Hotel staff is Exemplary. Victoria, the morning receptionist is Outstanding, She went above and beyond to help us recover our lost passport. Kudos to all the restaurant staff too, Rose, Zara, and May.
Also like to thank the concierges, that attended us during our stay.

Lovely, central area. The staff was very helpful.

Great location, amazing staff, beautiful rooms. Just overall a perfect place to stay in Rome. You can walk everywhere from here, but it's located on a quiet side street. They have a cool roof top terrace. The staff is really friendly.

The hotel was closed because of the COVID-19 but the management found a great solution for us, a beautiful apartment In the center of Rome. We were more than happy!
4.7
An excellent hotel in centre of Rome! The rooms are very nice and very clean, the location is perfect and the service is of high quality. The staff was very friendly and we would stay here again when we return to Rome.

Unique, small, boutique hotel with friendly staff in a fantastic location. Remember this is an old building in Europe, so it has small stairs and hallways, small bathrooms and not what Americans are used to. But the ambiance, the location and staff are wonderful. You can find fancier lodgings in Rome but you will pay a lot more to be a block from Forum ruins with wine bars, restaurants and amenities within two minutes. Oh and the Colosseum is about a 10 minute walk. Take advantage of the peaceful bar on the top floor overlooking the city, it’s an oasis amidst the buzz of Rome.

We stayed there for 7 nights and the staff was very accommodating and went the extra mile to make our stay run flawless. My wife and i were in a junior suite with a shared rooftop garden that was beautiful. We added rooms for our daughters and their rooms, then 4 floor apartment, all were beautiful with views to match. I would definitely recommend and will return. Special thanks to Matteo

The location. The lobby waiting room was spectacular, felt like we were in Roman ruins. Th rooftop lounge where we had breakfast was very comfortable. The selection at breakfast was incredible. I would certainly recommend this hotel highly.
4.7
Great hotel in a great location. Staff were very helpful and we had a daily call asking if our room was okHighly recommended
4.7
Very nice patio with the view on the forum, good breakfast but disappointed with the room which was not in the main building but next to it in an apartment complex very noisy at night. This was not specified at booking.
4.7
Excellent service and the room is superbly comfortable. The location is also ideal.
4.7
The ruins on the grounds of the hotel are amazing. The staff in the lounge both morning and evening are superb! We were in tiny room 102 with a view overlooking steps. At night there was a bright lantern light that lightened the room making it hard to sleep. The staff did offer to switch our room on the last night but we were headed off to a tour.
4.7
Fabulous boutique hotel- they gave us an upgrade to the top floor with our friends and we had our own private courtyard!
4.7
From the welcome glass of wine in the private ruins on the hotel site to the views of Rome from the rooftop bar, the stay was fantastic. The room was huge, and beautiful!
4.7
Impressive breakfast buffet, the structure and ambiance has an authentic Ancient Rome vibe and it is has one of those cool water filtered fountains at the doorstep to drown all that great wine down
4.7
My wife and I stayed for three nights at the Inn, and it was rather fantastic. Our apartment was remarkable cute and inviting (thanks for the upgrade!), the breakfast was stellar, and the location is hard to beat. We were walking distance or a short taxi ride from everywhere. Much love. Also! The staff was exceptionally professional and friendly throughout. We appreciated that. Cheers.
4.7
It is a really unique hotel with remains of ancient building in the basement, which was turned into a lounge area for guests’ arrival. We were treated to wine and tiramisu there upon arrival. There is a nice rooftop terrace with the views of Roman Forum, where guests can enjoy free breakfast or drinks in the evening.
4.7
Stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time the location is absolutely perfect especially for short stays as it's just a 15 minute walk from the main station, you can walk to the Colluseum or Forum in 5 minutes and the Vatican in 30. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and available 24 hours a day and speak impeccable English. My room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The room was in fact an apartment, with a small balcony, kitchen, separate sitting room 2 bathrooms all at a very reasonable price.
Date of stay: March 2019

The staff were very helpful and even gave me and my brother a Birthday cake and drink as a surprise on
our Birthday

Nice place. Great service.we received a nice upgrade upon check in. Location can’t be beat. The only cons I would say were mosquitos in the room (but we were next to a garden) and the bathroom caulking needing a refresh. It’s an easy fix they should do. Otherwise all perfect.

Nothing about this hotel was 5*, clear from the moment we arrived when after 10 hour flight waiting for the staff to check us in within cramped office area. The 'suite' itself was in a dingy annex next door accessed via a run down lift... room was decent size but fittings and furnishings felt cheap. The facilities in hotel were lacking and annoying small things like different named wifi networks which you have to connect to individually. The staff were very nice but when I asked if it was really 5* hotel I couldn't get straight answer. I would have been happy were I paying £200 per night however at £500+ I expect something much better. I booked due to reviews and can only imagine they were secured at a lower price point. It was either a very good 3* or decent 4*.
4.7
Great location, close to all of the areas we wanted to see. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance.
