Only one elevator worked. The elevator was dirty. The rooms had dirty streaks/stains on the walls. The attention to detail wasn’t apparent. While it didn’t feel unclean it also didn’t feel super clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was big and the two-headed shower was nice - although things felt outdated.

The Argosy hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels/ casinos I have ever seen. Their attention to detail was incredible and it is like no place I have ever stayed at. It’s a great place to relax at and they have everything you could need right there on the property.

The room was the best part of the stay, but 2 day stay with no housekeeping and only 1 coffee packet for a 2 person room. Casino and restaurants were terrible. I went to Hops 99 House (bar restaurant) no one there to seat people and found my own seat after 5 minutes. Only half the tables had people seated and most of the empty tables had not been cleaned up after the last guest. Then 20 minutes with no one to bring water, take an order. 30 minutes until I placed an order. Food was ok, time was better at 10 minutes. On the casino floor, no free cocktails. I went to a bar and ordered cocktail for $8 in a 9 oz plastic cup. If a waitress by it was $10 for the same. I ordered once and it was never brought to me. They closed the cocktail bar about 45 minutes after I ordered my cocktail. Urinals in most bathrooms were out of order and dismantled. No paper towels. Goop on the floor in front of the elevators on the hotel side was never mopped up and dried there overnight and all day the next day never cleaned. It wasn't a terrible stay but it seems there isn't any real career employees there and a shortage of those that are there. Overall, it doesn't feel like you're really appreciated as a customer.

Only disappointment I have had with this trip so far is that on your website it says that there is a breakfast buffet every morning. In fact Monday thru Friday,..there is absolutely no food available until noon!!!

No water pressure, fridge nasty and frozen over, you have to request maid service but phone does not work. Shower has no pressure and takes forever to get hot. Old hotel. May have been nice in the day. Scam you for water.

The property was amazing, room was spacious and beautiful. Restaurant were all good! Everything was great till went to take shower, Huge wad of someone hair was covering the drain, water pressure was not good. Shower was so beautiful and was looking forward to it till that. Around 2 am, someone was trying to get into our room. Wasn’t favorable being woke up that way but guess they realized mistake and went on. Then the next am when getting ready, was sitting in chair to put on shoes and saw candy wrappers under bed by frame. Other than that stay was a lot of fun.

I really enjoyed this hotel and casino…dining options were great..especially the red lotus that doesn’t close till midnight..was perfect for late night dinner, the cafe had amazing donuts and dessert choices..everyone was so nice, will definitely come back

Nice room, comfortable beds, bathroom had unique double French doors and I enjoyed the walk-in shower with double shower heads. Casino was fun, convenient location. Was not sure how the players member point card worked, if new members received anything for signing up such as free plays so I didn’t take advantage of that. Otherwise, I would stay here again.

So I went to front to guest services to ask for extra blankets they said they’ll have someone up but then a hour passed so I dialed the front desk number dialing 0 from room they said come get it and I told them it was a housekeeper there with a cart could they just let them know to give it to me they told me to ask but mind you she said go downstairs not to mention piss on matress

Didn’t stay. They canceled my reservation upon arriving. I was literally in the air on my way when they canceled it. And the front desk and mangers could care less. They had no sympathy and didn’t give a sh’t. Worse place and started my weekend trip with my son off with a very bad taste in My mouth for the city of Kansas City. This place just wants your money and has no regard for customer service.

We checked in at approximately 4:30 pm. Arrived in our first room. The TV was not working nor was the air conditioner. IT came and said they would need to install a new TV. Maintenance came, changed the filter on the AC unit which was filthy, AC still not working. Called front desk, instructed to come down to get a new room. Second room had no TV remote, called front desk, instructed to come down to get one. AC not working, maintenance came, said there was water leaking from AC unit, had to change rooms again. Third room TV working with remote. AC still not cooling to set temperature but decided to stay anyway. Went to casino and upon arrival back in our room incredibly strong odor of marijuana. Called desk, was told someone may have been smoking in hallway. At checkout next morning was told $12 “resort” fee had been credited. Expressed displeasure at this resolution, was told because booking was through third party nothing more could be done. Asked for manager input, clerk when back and returned offering 15% discount.

We did not have hot water. After a concert we attended, we could have stayed anywhere, but chose Argosy. When we wanted to take a shower after sweating all day at the concert, we could not. All the casino would offer is a credit of the $12 “amenity fee” which is a joke fee in the first place. No wonder they’re fine crediting it, because they know it’s a scam. $12 for “free water, wifi, $5 off a meal but the meal has to be charged to the room…” All of it was completely disappointing. We will not be going back. KC has numerous casinos.
