A lovely hotel in the heart of the city. Staff were all very friendly and very attentive to our needs. We are planning to return next year.

We stayed for two nights at the Hotel Piazza Vecchia. It is ideally located right next to Bergamo old square, in the Main Street that is great for walking. We particularly enjoyed the large bathroom in our bedroom. The service was both attentive and competent. The free and flavorful breakfast was also a plus.

The hotel is in the best location, Citta Alta. It could be a bit noisy, especially if you take a room with a view of the street. It is good to remember that when booking. The hotel is nicely maintained and clean, with free of charge water in the room and a good selection of food for breakfast. we enjoyed our stay.

We had room #4 which the shower and bathroom area had severe flood problem when we showered. They didn’t accept to change our room and since we had made two reservations before, last night we had room #12 which was wonderful . Good shower, away from the alley and resturant noise with mountain/city view. Location was great in the heart of the little city center area.

Great hotel in the heart of Bergamo's old town. Excellent choice if you want to be minutes away from bars, restaurants and the cities medieval sites. Despite its location, the room was quiet and comfortable. There is a flight of stairs to reception then lift access to other floors. Room was spacious, stylish and well appointed. Bathroom was excellent with loads of room. Staff were very helpful and assisted in any way they could. I would definitely recommend if you want to experience the best of Bergamo.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Piazza Vecchia, a small boutique hotel right in the centre of Bergamo. The building has been renovated beautifully with traditional features and decor but also with modern conveniences. We booked a room with a mountain view which had the advantage of being quiet despite the hotel being located in a busy area. The staff were so friendly and helpful in every respect, from providing information about the local area to booking transfers from and to the airport. Breakfast was very good with a good variety of fresh fruit and pastries as well as cold meats and cheese. Then, we were spoilt for choice with the number of restaurants nearby. All in all, I cannot fault this hotel and would highly recommend a stay there.

Difficult to access as there are few cabs no Ubers and inconvenient busses. The rooms, though spacious, are spare and somewhat shabby and the lighting is poor. The staff were wonderful though.

The hotel is clean, and the breakfast was superb. It is very hard to find without a sign to see as you drive through the narrow street. Room was reasonably sized - bigger than typical European hotels.

The hotel was in a fantastic location in Citta Alta. Our check-in was easy. Rooms were lovely, spacious, modern and spotless. Breakfast was lovely - continental breakfast with a good selection of fruit, yogurts, cheese, bread and pastry as well as hot drinks.

right in the centre of Città Alta, with the bells ringing the hour in the daytime and many restaurants in the street outside. Very cleverly modernised but retaining a lovely sense of the old original building, we loved the wooden beams in our bedroom ceiling. Staff were incredibly helpful and accomodating. A wonderful hotel - we loved it.

The hotel and the staff were lovely! Parking (lack of) is an issue, as is dropping off your luggage (if you have a big suitcase). Neither of these are easy, especially during busy periods. The hotel advises you can drive to drop off your luggage at the front door, but a) the streets are so narrow that you will be blocking pedestrians being able to walk on the street) and b) the hotel is not well sign posted and difficult to find. You should really book a parking spot (which is a a few minutes' walk away) - and ideally the hotel should offer a porter service (as the cobbled street is pretty difficult for suitcases with wheels).

Great service. Lovely room with a beautifull view and all the comfort you could wish for. Great location of the hotel. Quality according to price is really good in this hotel. Breakfast buffet was rather small but it was with some local products and all fresh which is always nice.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel once we got there. HOWEVER finding the entrance door to the hotel was a nightmare and you MUST put a photo of the door and its location on this Expedia site. We had prebooked car parking and had been told the car park was away from the hotel. But we were told we could pull up outside the hotel entrance to unload our luggage and then take our car to the car park but this is virtually IMPOSSIBLE. We had already driven the extremely narrow streets crowded with pedestrians and missed the entrance twice before we stopped and I asked a waitress in a nearby restaurant where it was. And it is literally a door beside a shop with hardly any readily visible signage and when opening the door you are faced with steep steps straight up to reception. If only you had shown a photo of this and warned us we would have been so much less stressed. The position of the hotel is fantastic. The views from our room amazing. And the breakfast good. There were coffee making facilities in our room and a mini fridge with complimentary water. And the bathroom was large and modern.

This Boutique hotel situated in the heard of beautiful Town Bergamo which only 20mins drive away from BGY airport . Hotel room is very nice and clean. There are many restaurants and small shops nearby within walking distance Highly recommend stay here

The property was unique and charming. The room was spacious and nicely furnished. Bed was very comfortable. Adrianna at the front desk was a delightful person who made our visit very personal. She made us feel like we were visiting a friend rather than being a guest.

Amazing location right in the heart of Citta Alta. Fantasic customer service - so helpful and friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. A little bit of noise from the restaurants and bars surrounding which is to be expected. Breakfast was basic but fine.

Hotel Is perfectly located in Bergamo Citti Alta. The property is quaint yet has modern facilities and great bathrooms. The staff is outstanding. When our hired driver canceled on us at the last minute the helpful staff found us another driver. I highly recommend this property.
