A great stay at this monastery turned hotel. Spacious room with good lighting and plenty of sockets, easy to use shower and comfortable bed.
Great food selection at breakfast and super friendly and helpful staff.
Segovia is a beautiful city and Hotel San Antonio El Real made it a memorable stay - thank you

A quaint old fashioned hotel with plenty of atmosphere. Good views of gardens from room. Real wood doors and windows. Good bar and restaurant. Lovely cloister. Pleasant ten minute walk into centro alongside aquaduct and a further five minutes walk to Plaza Major.

great access to a beautiful town, hotel was warm, comfortable, great service, lovely bar, great breakfast.

Lovely and well done conversion of a monastery with thick walls. Why then were we able to hear our neighbours having a conversation and snoring loudly at night?
Would have been a 5 Stars if there had been a kettle for tea or coffee in room. Much closed and further from town centre for a cup of tea!

Great location. Walking distance to all the main sites. Very quiet.

Terrible experience. No control of room HVAC. You must contact the front desk to change room temperature. We asked for air conditioning after finding out the room controls were useless. We asked for cooler room and had to remind them again in the afternoon. Then, room temp was too cold. I swear they do this on purpose.
Internet connection also fitting in with the experience, spotty. Connection would be lost without explanation. When asking front desk about connection , they were adamant connection was ok. It wasn’t. Overall terrible experience. No recommended.

It was convenient and close to aqueduct of Segovia.

Excellent walkable location near start of Aqueduct (just other side of a children’s playground).

Receptionist was unfriendly and didn’t want to give us the VIP benefit. I insisted till she decided to check our reservation. I felt discriminated. Then she had to give us the parking. Then the conditioned air didn’t functioned. Next receptionist told us that we had to inform reception to switch between heating and conditioning air. First time that I heard something like this. At least she was friendly. Breakfast was ok but coffee machine was only one for too many people. I think hotel is good but need some adjustments.

Good location with good on site parking. Breakfast has a good choice. Easy walk into the historic town with some lovely local bars nearby.

Great location & excellent restaurant

Whilst the hotel looks nice (being an old monastery) the service and rooms were disappointing. Many staff members are rude, the pillows are very uncomfortable, and the walls are thin so I could hear the guest in the room next door snoring loudly and making other unpleasant noises all night. I selected this hotel due to the VIP benefits but had a very poor experience. Regarding the staff, on my first night, I had to spend an hour arguing with the rude receptionist regarding my VIP benefits despite availablility. The next day I was able to change rooms but it was very obvious that she was not happy about that. House cleaning started making a lot of noise early in the morning outside my room. When I asked if she could keep the noise down, she was also very rude. Limited options for dining and waitress in the restaurant was also rude, telling me off for sitting down at a table when the place was empty and there was no one at the entrance. I think some members of staff should attend "Customer Service training".

Old world charm. Aircon not very effective. Cafe does not do snacks and restaurant opens Spanish hours. Great location to walk the aquaduct into the centre. Helpful staff. Food good.

We’ve stayed here now several times for a stopover. Attractive old hotel, good location - easy walk into beautiful Segovia, free parking and breakfast included.

I stayed here with my wife for 3 nights in September 2023. Very cool place to say the least !!! This is an old Monastery and makes you feel in the middle of medieval Spain ! Room was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Hotel is at walkable distance from pretty much everything !

The entire staff were very friendly and attentive to any of our needs. Great environment and couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Very unusual property. We had a great room with attentive staff. Only there for one night, ate in restaurant and very impressed.

Were it not for the sad, very dated decor, the heavy draperies impossible to move to allow light into the room, I might have found this hotel satisfactory. As it was, I couldn’t wait to check out.

We were a bit disappointed in this hotel. I expected a lot more as it had been recommended to us. A lot had been made of the the cloister bar/ restaurant but it didn’t make up for the disappointment. The rooms were basic and tired and in need of renovation. The furniture was chipped and scratched. I’m not suggested making it modern as that would not suit the ambiance but good decoration and better bathroom would be a start. The breakfast was basic with not much choice and by time we had breakfast just after 9 there were no croissants left. On the up side the food in the restaurant at dinner was good ( the fig salad was delicious) and the service was attentive. The price for dinner was very reasonable as well. The bathroom was in need of renovation and very cramped and I would have liked a rug at the side of the bed as getting out of bed onto a cold tiled floor was a shock on the feet. Nothing dreadfully wrong with hotel just a few niggles but after a long hot journey these niggles seemed a lot.

Chose this hotel for its location and as it looked charming. Far too dated for me. Air conditioning did not work, bathroom very dated although clean.
Every hotel should provide at least a complimentary bottle of water on arrival, but not in this hotel! Its location was good in that the aqueduct was within a short walking distance. Breakfast average but adequate. Sufficed for a one night stay.

This is a unique hotel. It’s in a former monastery. Our room was a good size and very comfortable. It’s easy walking distance to restaurants, sights, etc. The hotel itself has a very good restaurant. Easy, free parking on site. We were very pleased with our stay.

The hotel is a former monastry, and the design around this is impressive.
Staff were friendly and helpful the room very kept very clean.
A 10-minute walk to the Roman aquaduct and lots of shops and cafes.
Would definitely use hotel again if if we are in Segovia.

Very helpful staff and our lunch in the restaurant was very good. Breakfast was also very good and gluten free food was amply provided on request.
Our only problem was the tiled bedroom floor at a very cold time of the year .. we were not prepared. But a lovely old building

Stopped here for one night on our way out of Madrid to La Rioja. Very comfortable room, not huge, but fine. Lovely, spacious bathroom, tasty breakfast, and the hotel lobby and other spaces were also very nice. Quiet, well-situated, appreciated the free and easy parking very much, service was friendly. Would recommend for sure!

El Mirador is a wonderful, small hotel sitting high over the town, run by a charming couple. The room had a view of the mountains, other rooms had a view of the lovely town. The managers were very helpful. The room was comfortable. Would like to stay there again.

Beautiful place to stay in Segovia, the service was also great.

Great value in an absolutely beautiful historic building with the serene ambiance of a convent. Loved the central courtyard and wished we had dinner there—had made reservations elsewhere in town. Clean rooms and bathrooms. The free parking and breakfast included features make for a great value. Perhaps the upholstered furniture was a bit tired, especially in the lobby.

Great details... a chocolate bar , eucerin lotion and many toiletries , pressed sheets and a great breakfast . Loved stayin in this hotel .

Lovely surroundings and nice rooms with excellent wifi. Helpful staff and free parking. Nice walk following the Roman aqueduct to town. Breakfast ok but not great.
