This village hotel is ‘tired’. My room was comfortable but noisy. I could hear next door bath rooms and voices both sides, doors banging both sides.
Staff could have been more welcoming, appeared rushed, no mention of “have you enjoyed your stay with us?” on checkout.
Breakfast is very mediocre - coffee was so weak, not hot - from a machine that looked 30 years old! Very basic continental breakfast - hot breakfast choice was good. Eggs florentine weren't hot though - served on very soggy bread rolls - didn’t go to breakfast second morning- coffee in the room was better! Very disappointed and overpriced in my opinion.

Lovely oak panelled hotel, friendly and helpful staff made our stay (thanks Emma!) Good room, decent bar and good breakfasts! Decent on site parking too!

Stayed here many times comforable and nice food in restaurant

Staff very friendly and helpful.
Room lovely.
However, bed could use a new mattress as not very comfortable.
Did not eat at hotel went to the Lamb inn down the road, which was good.

Amazing quirky hotel
4.3
Relaxed stay away from city hustle and bustle

Good dining room

Breakfast was very good with a choice of cereals, croissants, fruit juice and a cooked breakfast which was cooked to order.
The entrance and exit to the hotel is very narrow so be careful.
The swimming pool is about 12m long but is 2.5m at the deep end.

Service and food were excellent. Particularly impressed with Kayleigh, who was knowledgeable and very efficient with an excellent sense of humor. The option to use the pool and also massage service was also much appreciated! Highly recommend this gem of a hotel.
4.3
Lovely decor, great garden & patio. Good food & breakfast. Very quiet at night.
4.3
We enjoyed the pool and the sauna but although we paid extra for a superior room it was very small and only had one chair. 2 into 1 does not go !
4.3
The room we were in advised them prior it was a special birthday no comments or anything from them extra in the room complimentary. Even a handwritten card saying welcome and congratulations could have been done.
The bathroom has no grab handle to help you get up. The hairdryer hose was dangerous as it got really hot. There was no specific paperwork about the hotel in our room at all with any information regarding the history of the building times for food etc etc One of the corridors has no information which way to go etc as dark wood pannelling everywhere. We had trouble finding the room and went completely the wrong way. It is a lovely old building sadly the visit didnt live up to expectations.
Woken up by noisy pipework to be expected as such an old building.
No iron or fridge if needed for such a large room could have been accomodated for.
Felt rushed at breakfast not had time to study the menu properly. Wernt offered toast. We felt because we didnt stay for an evening meal we were treated differently..... .such a shame.

Sunday food was poor quality re heated from Sundays Roast Lunch.
Had to wait over 40 minutes.
Then Eaton Mess only had one strawberry and the cream was over whipped.

Lovely old building O bedroom very comfortable, spacious and light. room had recently been refurbished to v. high standard and overlooked pretty garden. Good parking and helpful staff. Would definitely return.
4.3
Unfortunately the kitchen was not open in the evening so I had to eat out. Although the meal & location was very nice it would have been good to have been notified prior to booking in. The receptionist was very helpful with recommending alternatives.
4.3
The Staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel was comfortable, but its a pity that the room was on the small size, but overall enjoyable.
4.3
Done a great job combining modern facilities in a grade 2 listed property
4.3
Nice hotel in a quiet village location. Staff are always friendly and helpful through the stay.
4.3
The village is lovely. The hotel is a little dated but comfortable. Would have to say that the staff were not the most welcoming and appear to be unhappy. The beds were very comfortable but I have to say that the cleanliness of the bathroom was not good with black mould on the wall and around the shower screen, along with lime scale.
It is definitely not a 4 star hotel.

Lovely płace and hotel. Nice atmosphere. Great staff. Loved the location. Breakfast was a bit basic - nice menu but the final execution was a bit without a chefly love. Nonetheless, would stay again for sure. Very wholesome

Lovely hotel & really friendly staff.

Have stayed at Angmering Manor Hotel before some years ago & liked it very much. Once again the staff were super helpful. Had dinner then breakfast on this stay & the standard of food was fair. Cleanliness in general not at all bad but neither was it tip top.
4.3
Beautiful place , nice and clean with great facilities
4.3
Room and food fine. I felt the waiting staff were quite stressed and could do with more staff. It would have been nice if they smiled and came across more friendly.
4.3
The staff were friendly and helpful. But, the decor tired and not particularly clean. The room was noisy (aircon from pool??) until nearly 11pm. The menu offered breakfast buffet with muffins & croissants but there were none. Supply issues apparently. Food at dinner well cooked & tasty.

Our room exterior wall had the kitchen extraction against it so our room vibrated and whired with the sound of the fan until 10pm and started again at 630am. Our room was changed but when I explained to staff about how bad the room was and that my son didn’t sleep they replied “yes we know, it’s very bad” no excuse just agreed but still seemed happy to put people in that room! The new room was fine but no effort was made to make up for the first night! If I hadn’t payed up front, I would have not payed for that first eve. Not great for my only holiday with my son!

Our visit was exactly what we wanted - a peaceful 24 hours after attending a two day wedding nearby on the hottest days of the year. The staff are all delightful, the rooms are lovely, the food was excellent, the pool wonderful (we used it twice in 24 hours). After checking out we were in no hurry so sat in their shady garden with coffee for an hour or so.

Check-in was very stressful. Check-in is 2pm til 9pm and I knew in advance we would be arriving at 9pm. I emailed the hotel and messaged via the Hotels.com App and called 48 hours before arrival to ler them know and make sure this was okay. We were delayed by a road accident congestion and arrived 45 minutes late. The hotel checkin staff called us and told us on a phone message she couldn't check us in after 9pm. I called back twice whilst driving and there was no answer.
We eventually had a call back which was not friendly. I asked if I needed to find a new hotel as they weren't going to allow us to checkin and they reluctantly said we had til 10pm to check in. This made the rest of our journey extremely stressful. When we got there a grumpy woman checked us in. We noticed the bar was open until 11pm!!! So, there were staff present until 11pm. Not a good start to a weekend stay and will definitely not recommend to anyone or ever return. Breakfast staff were lovely, so it's a shame front desk on our arrival was like Basil Fawlty.
4.3
There was no fridge in the room and no water. I paid for superior double but had double.
4.3
From the minute we booked in, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff. Shown to our room and where we would have dinner and breakfast and treatments and swimming. The manager was very friendly and we’re were able to share our weekends experience with her and she was very engaging. Nothing was too much trouble. We’d definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel with ample parking. Stunning garden and pool. Lovely staff. Comfy bed! Great attention to detail throughout. Fantastic breakfast room and choices in the morning. Great meals in evening.
4.3
This lovely building would be much nicer and a lot classier without some of the notices and excessive attempt at decoration.
The staff try hard and were very pleasant but if you cannot serve cocktails
4.3
The garden needs a little more TLC, removal of dead plants and others saved with a little water and grass cutting. Otherwise the garden is an oasis of calm and the terrace a wonderful place to chill with a drink.
The staff were great - all of them are a credit to their hotel.
4.3
Lovely little find, peaceful location. Clean and tidy if a little tired in places. Fabulous food. Friendly professional staff. Nice indoor pool. Sauna not in use which was a shame. Overall a lovely stay, would return
4.3
Run by nice people however 3 white milks are insufficent for more than one cup of coffee each. Beds were very hard and found it strange that no staff around after 10pm. Also millage from worthing is more than advertised making it very expensive nearly £40 for around trip
4.3
Having a pool was a definite plus with this small hotel and the evening meal was well presented, tasted beautiful and the servers were most attentive. However, the first room we were shown, it was not possible to view the wall mounted TV and the room was dusty. The second room, bingo, the TV was situated by the bed… perfect. Although the room seemed clean I did not want to move for a third time… I just wrote HELLO in the dust on the bathroom window sill and left the cobwebs to grow……
4.3
Very friendly staff, excellent food, a comfortable hidden gem mixing the old house with modern decor in parts, without detracting from the age of the property. The indoor swimming pool was an unexpected bonus - showering and changing facilities were on hand as was the sauna. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay and will be returning.

Beautiful little gem
