Nice hotel, nice location, nice people but awful food. I ordered a steak that was tough and full of gristle and fat. The peppercorn sauce was sweet and not peppery at all. The restaurant made a big deal of their steaks, i wouldnt feed it to my dog.

hotel was unusual - quirky but very peaceful in a nice quiet countryside location - service was very inconsistent though.......

The hotel and location are both beautiful. Lovely walks in the surrounding area. The pool and spa facilities were nice with a great sun terrace and outdoor jacuzzi. Children are allowed in this area though which made it less relaxing than it could have been.
The breakfast buffet was outstanding and included glasses of fizz, a great start to the day!
We had the evening buffet at an extra charge, which was outstanding.
Guests would definitely need a car, as it is far from the train station. There is plenty of parking spaces.

We had a meeting near by with a local company. We loved our stay at this hotel. Great, friendly service, a fabulous restaurant in the hotel. A nice bar area and a castle ruin just a short walk away. A great location for a weekend getaway in eastern Germany. The only negative is that the beds were small singles

The shower heads in the rooms are cheap rubbish and certainly do not reflect the prices you pay for the rooms.
I complained about his multiple times to the hotel owner, but it seems since he does not use the rooms he does not care.
This is certainly a top-class hotel, but we need top- class shower heads.

Pretty nice. Price for one night (190€ at December 25th) was unexpectedly high, but might be due to Christmas season.
Grenzau is a very cute village

My favorite hotel to stay at when visiting Koblenz. Beautiful surroundings and my favorite breakfast buffet in the Rhineland.

I stay at Zugbruecke every year - more for the surroundings than anything else. The hotel has great facilities and probably my favorite buffet of all the hotels ive stayed at. The staff is top notch and will go out of their way to help if asked.

Excellent location in a small town in the middle of the woods (but of course, far away from everything). The restaurant is excellent and top notch, but there is also a regular bar where you can eat excellent pizza and play some bowling. The spa area is great!

overrated place.
And staff is very rude. I cannot complain enough about this hotel. Go to the one next door.

I use this hotel when I am visiting Koblenz. The facilities are top notch. The rooms, while dated - are comfortable and clean. The food is excellent and the breakfast is off the charts.

Nice hotel, good buffet breakfast. Staff were ok, did not speak good English, at reception. Dining staff were excellent

We stayed here for a visit to Koblenz and the Rhine and its position 10 km outside the city in the countryside was perfect. The room was medium size and had everything you could need provided. We asked for extra pillows and these were provided immediately. The restaurant food was excellent.

We enjoy our stay, walking around, using hotel facilities and driving to different places near by. Since we live in Peru, we don't see another stay pretty soon, but in a near future ........ thanks

I am a regular at this hotel,
What's frustrating that staff are not well paid and expect tips. Friendliness was better in the past.

This is one of my favorite hotels when traveling to Koblenz. It's a bit of a drive to the city center, but I prefer this hotel to the other options closer to the city. The surroundings and facilities are great. The included breakfast is top notch, the staff is always pleasant and willing to help. The rooms are getting a bit dated, but are still acceptable when compared to others in the area.

A large hotel in beautiful surroundings which can be explored on foot using the footpaths nearby. We ate a la carte in the restaurant twice and received excellent food and service. A buffet dinner is also available. Breakfast was. fantastic with lots of choice. The room was a reasonable size, had a bath with shower and, a balcony overlooking the stream which was lovely. The only downside was there was no air-conditioning. It was very hot during our stay and opening the windows meant we were kept awake by noise from the bar. Had the weather been cooler this wouldn't have been a problem.

This is a lovely hotel set in a very peaceful valley surrounded by beautiful forrest. We stayed in a basic room that was more than adequate. Breakfast was the best we've ever had at any hotel and the wellness area and pool were superb. Would highly recommend.

Excellent hotel, with a true European flair. We had a very nice stay. Staff was very polite and helpful at all times.

This hotel is situated in the most beautiful location, the drive to get there is so impressive and when you finally arrive the hotel is much the same. The staff were friendly on arrival and confirmed all of our requests. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and we enjoyed the extra touches like the bathrobes. We had room service for dinner and it was very quick plus the food was tasty. Breakfast the next day was excellent and had a great variety of choices. We used the pool/spa while we were there and it was clean and very kid friendly. The pool was indoors and the spa outdoors. There was a day spa and a fitness centre which we didn't use, but mainly because it didn't open until 9.30am. Overall a great hotel to stay at and I would recommend it anyone who enjoys quality.

I wanted to stay outside the city on a drive from Frankfurt to Brussels. i just selected this based on location. what a find. It is back in a valley and the staff was wonderful. I'll be back for a longer stay soon

We had a pleasant 3 day stay at this hotel and definitely recommend it as long as you do not want to be near a city center as it is about 15 minutes away from Koblenz. The staff was extremely helpful and the ammenites (spa, restaurants, ping pong, bowling) were all fantastic.

We booked this hotel for 1 night as it was the closest we could find of 4 star close to Koblenz with short notice. Luckily we had our car as it was a fair drive to the Rhine River. This is a holiday spa hotel rather than a visiting tourist rate and is a German get away hotel for spa, beauty and fitness. The scenery around the hotel is wonderful. Built over a babbling brook and tucked into the hills. Our room was a little tired and only just a 4 star from what we had stayed in after 4 weeks in Europe so a bit disappointing and we didn't try the facilities. Breakfast was plentiful and good.
