Room 104: strange odor as you enter the room. We eventually became “noseblind” to it but were reminded every time we entered. Ceiling light bulb out, should be changed.

No major issues. A/C air quality in our room was stale and the shower head must have been clogged because it provided water at very low volume. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

It was good for what we needed, 1 night stau but floors were dirty and had small dead bugs. Breakfast was cereal and waffles so not really hot breakfast. Staff was nice. Pool looked good.

I thought this hotel although it may have been a little older was very neat and clean. The hotel staff was very accommodating and helpful. Although we didn't have our room cleaned during the stay, I noticed the cleaning staff was superurb And worked as a well oiled machine. The groundskeeper was meticulously cleaning and even placing the rocks back into the flower beds that had been displaced. My family would definitely stay here again.

The room was clean, ac was good, frig was good. Bathroom was weird. Shower curtain too small to stay closed. TP too far back. No safety in shower. Both of our cards were deactivated while we were out Sunday. Again when I asked about it, I was told, they are ele tronic cards, it happens. I have never had both at same time. Breakfast was almost non existent. Microwavable biscuit sandwich like McDonalds. No hot breakfast. I asked and was told because there were other hotels from same chain close by that they were only allowed to do cereal and waffles. Their was no attendant and they ran out of coffee. The orange juice tasted bitter. I feel like I am owed a partial refund. I definately would not stay here again.

Air conditioner never got the room below 78⁰. Only had waffles and yogurt for breakfast, along with cold decaf coffee. Entire building had a "skunk" smell. Large flying water roaches in room. Crowded room, too much furniture.

My husband and I were satisfied with our stay and the employees very helpful. Everything was clean. We brought our own body wash and Listerine. We were given 4 towels 4 hand towels and 4 face cloths mini bottles of shampoo lotion rinse and an extra roll of toilet paper. When I asked for extra coffee packs, I was given them.

This place was very sub par and did not live up to the past reviews- Continental Breakfast- had no cranberry juice ( it was empty) NO REGULAR COFFEE ( it was empty) and when brought to staffs attention I was directed to the vending machines and handed extra coffee for my room …. ?? This was not to my liking. The continental breakfast is a waffle- frozen breakfast sandwich- yogurt- instant oatmeal- apple or banana- sticky buns ——very cheap and not to my preference. I could of ate at a convenience store and had more options 😂 There were water or liquid splatter on the wall in the room , and no towel service or trash see-YOU HAVE TO ASK AND THEN EMPTY YOURSELF! Then we LOST WATER FOR A WHOLE DAY! We were not able to shower or use the toilet …, When I asked how I would be compensated for they inconvenience, I was told a manager would reach out - whom never did , I mean , a discount on the room for the day I was unable to use water would of been nice! OVERALL NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL ! Do yourself a favor & Stay at one of the other 5 hotels in this cul de sac , hopefully you will have a better experience!

Our room was very humid/moist turns out there was a whole leak in the ceiling right outside our room which was the cause I'm sure. Wasn't fixed the whole stay and they just put a laundry bin under it and we had to listen to it drain. The door card readers are touchy and you had to try multiple times to get it to word and even then it was putting the card in wait 3 seconds remove the card and wait until you thought it would latch. Overall not a great hotel in any aspect.

I really did enjoy the stay. Me and my girlfriend both agreed that the shower could use a little more water pressure. Other thank that I would give a 8/10. If the shower had that little bit more I would give it the 10.

Check in was smooth. We stayed in room 214 and right away I noticed there was a mugginess in the air. There was an awful smell coming from the AC/smelled like food/onions. Our bathroom was clean. Our carpet needed to be vacuumed. Our beds were so uncomfortable I compared it to sleeping on cardboard. Our “bedspread” reminded me of a shower curtain. There was no blanket! It was a sheet and a padded “cover.” I was very angry at myself for booking our stay there for 3 whole nights. We were only there to sleep and shower. Every time we walked into the room it smelled awful. I was glad they had a refrigerator and a microwave in the room; however, the refrigerator did not cool anything. Complimentary breakfast was helpful, unfortunately there was nothing with protein offered other than these Jimmy Dean microwaveable sandwiches with artificial meat and eggs. Our key cards kept demagnetizing every time we would use them, even after we kept them away from our phones. It was super aggravating when we couldn’t open the back door by the pool with our hands full. We had to carry everything and walk back to the front door. The walls are super thin and we could hear everything! I woke up multiple times a night from slamming doors down the hallway and people above us jumping around. My husband woke up to a beatle crawling on his stomach!! I spoke to another guest at breakfast and she said she did not have any carpet in her room. Were we given this room because we booked through a third party?

The breakfast options were minimal. Plain waffle, microwavable sausage, egg, cheese croissant but no jelly. There were packaged honey buns and yogurt but no muffins or cooked food such an egg, sausage or hashbrowns. I just found it lacking effort. The keys malfunction several times over the course of a day which was frustrating. The toilet ran constantly as the stopper was coming loose so I used a strip of a funions bag to make rope like contraption to tie the stopper to the arm that held the stopper. We will be looking for another option on our next trip which is sad because we used to really enjoy staying at this hotel.

Our stay was good overall. The staff were polite. They even gave us a courtesy call when we got into our room. They even called me to let me know I left a couple of hats when we left. Our stay was decent however there were just a few things that concerned us: We didn't like the unexpected $50 deposit. We didn't see that mentioned on the website we used. Also we kept finding pinch bugs in our room. We should've mentioned this but we didn't want to move to another room. My husband kept finding these little bugs in the restroom and on the walls. The 5 ft pool was a disappointment. It looked nicer on the website. The only other thing was that when we first walked in our room, it had an old dusty smell as if no one had been in there for awhile. We didn't complain about any of these issues simply because we were grateful to be in New Braunfels. Plus the staff were super nice and we didn't want to make them feel bad. We probably should have mentioned some of these things though. Was our stay good overall? Yes. Will we stay here again? No.

Crappiest place I’ve stayed in. Made the mistake of booking two days and paying for it. Upon checkin i knew i wanted to cancel but couldn’t get my money back, not even for the second night. Expedia didn’t help and neither did the hotel, they both pointed the finger at the other party. I ended up leaving after the first night anyway, the place was disgusting. No internet, cheapest mattresses I’ve ever seen, rags for towels and bed sheets, comforters, not one pot/pan/dish/utensil to be found in the kitchenette, completely empty. With so many other places around there that were less expensive i can’t believe this place is still open.

The bed appeared clean, but the bathroom was not. The tub seemed to have had a mat removed and there were rings all around the bottom. The room had a funny smell also, but we got an air freshener and fixed it. The handle to the closet was broken on arrival. The shower also appeared to have mold in the grout. The outside of the building is very poorly maintained. The parking lot is small. My room key stopped working at 8 am the second day. The bed, while clean, was uncomfortable. The pillows are throw pillow sized which was odd. The location did not feel safe, but it was nice to be less than 10 minutes from a target when we needed things. Overall, the stay was not completely unpleasant, but what you get does not justify the price point. We paid over $200 for one night and I do not feel like this was a $200 stay in any way. The only positive thing I have to say is that the bed appeared clean, which is the bare minimum. Everything else about the stay was below average.

Food was very ho-hum super continental. Nothing hot, unless you micro-waved it. Coffee was machine, not brewed. Toilet lid would not stay up; had to put towell on top to keep it from falling down. Comfortable, beds, sheets and pillow very good.

The hotel was clean. I chose this hotel over a comparatively priced one, because this hotel had a hot tub. We really were looking forward to sitting in the hot tub, but sadly it was out of order during our stay. The free breakfast had very limited options as well. Waffles, two types of cereal and prepackaged breakfast sandwiches were the options.
