Come here several times and my sister had her wedding. There were a couple of things going on with the room, but when we brought them to the attention of the innkeeper, they were rectified. A beautiful and with a lovely ambience for a getaway or holiday or just explore the areas. We will definitely be back.

We found the Inn very relaxing. We were traveling back from Canada and wanted to break up the drive somewhat. We were pleased to have a restaurant connected to the Inn, as we really didn’t want to drive anymore that day. A charming place to stay and very reasonable considering it was early September.

The grounds were beautiful, but the hotel has seen better days.

Amazing experience, beautiful room. Wonderful Buffett breakfast

I was smitten by what this historic inn had to offer during our stay. Yes, the room furnishings were dated (the electrical outlets could use some upgrades; the plugs were loose) but I think everything else made up for it. We enjoyed the buffet style hot breakfast every morning and the Friday dinner special at the restaurant (Trahan tavern) was very impressive, both the service by the staff and food itself. We were seated outside and we fully enjoyed the beautiful grounds. The staff were all very nice and informative.

Close to things.
Eating options close by.
Front step riser/run ratio bad. Half risers are dangerous.
Needs repair and updating.
Breakfast options should change daily with more variety.

I am a Quechee resident myself, but my house was rented out and I needed to get some things done in town this week so I booked a room at the Inn.
I have often referred people to stay here, but I had never stayed here myself.
It’s really great.
Affordable, elegant, restful, comfortable, peaceful.
What more could anyone want?
I will all the more enthusiastically recommend the Inn when I have friends or family staying with me and run out of room at my house!

We loved our stay at the Quechee Inn. Everyone was very friendly, the room was comfortable, spacious and clean, and the place itself is in a beautiful location. Would stay again.

Calm, classic VT.
Welcome at reception could have been warmer, and waitstaff, initially warm and gregarious were not tuned next days, second dinner (though new waitress very pleasant) especially given three nights there

It’s clean and affordable.

It’s a lovely historical inn and the staff is so kind. The place is so dusty. There was hair on my pillow. All of the bathroom items like shampoo etc. were half gone and obviously used by the previous patrons.
Otherwise, it’s quaint. The breakfast is out of this world. The pancakes are the best.

The Quechee Inn is charming with a superb restaurant that we have enjoyed over the years. I had the best duck ever for dinner.
The inn itself is a little dated and in need of a little TLC. Our room could use a deep cleaning with heavy dust behind the head board and bugs in the bathroom light/fan. We still had a wonderful stay.

The property was the home of Joseph Marsh. I loved having the onsight dinig option and cute bar. Tasty breakfast buffet. The roo.s were very clean, but the bathroom area could really use TLC . It was clean, though.

This is a classic Vermont Inn. The furnishings are a little tired and could use some updating. The outdoor property is very pretty. Breakfast is included and the restaurant is good. It's on a somewhat busy road which limited the ability to walk anywhere. Its convenient to Quechee and a bit of a drive to Woodstock and areas north. We were bicycling and had one nice 25 mile bicycle ride that we started from the Inn. Otherwise we had to drive to get to country roads to cycle.

Exactly what we were hoping for: beautiful surroundings and facilities, friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms. The restaurant is excellent. The included breakfast was great too, especially the pancakes. We fully enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Front desk service was not good. The bed is bad in room 5.

This is a beautiful old inn. The rooms have the original floors, which are wavy and creaky, and they had to come up and install a window air conditioner. But they did it happily and quickly. Note, there is no coffee in the rooms.
Breakfast was made to order, and very good. Have the pancakes- amazing!

Tremendous food, quiet place and close to hiking, fantastic big to drive to, and easy jaunt to Woodstock if one wishes.
Do not miss the dinner - it is delicious and well portioned, or, should I let you know, most generous!! Enjoy!

We will probably return when graduation happens.
