Place exceeded expectations

The experience was a nice welcome. The staff friendly and we never felt obligated to follow a schedule implemented by them. They had delicious meals prepared and entertainment. We had prior plans and we’re not able to join but wished we knew earlier and we definitely would have joined the fun and food. The room was wonderful with a comfortable bed and our own bathroom. All amenities for a comfortable stay were provided. We will definitely recommend this B&B.

No elevator and our room was on the second floor. No AC only a fan which did not keep the room cool. The fan/light combo above the bed, the light came on in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. No mini refrig. or vending machine to have a cold drink. I came back from sightseeing and my door was stuck I couldn't get the key to work. I asked for help she told me to call the number listed for help, nothing she could do. (Customer focused not in the least). The biggest problem is this is a Log Cabin with no sprinkler system or fire extinguishers and to top it off our room had no smoke alarm. For the price I PAID I have had 4 Star service(s). I have rented a whole cabin with a kitchen, full bathroom two queen beds, couch bed on a lake LESS than what I paid for a tiny, tiny room with no room to turn around on one side of the bed for $400.00 a night.

The inn and grounds are very beautiful, but there was no air conditioning in the guest rooms and the temperature was in the low eighties that day. I could not find the on-site manager to ask about it and another guest had to inform me of this fact. There were cookies and ice water for the guests, but the ice had melted, and the water was just below room temperature.

Amazing B&B! Gorgeous gardens, rustic & inviting interior, well appointed & comfortable rooms…everything was top notch! The best part of all was the welcoming staff (special shout out to Chelsea….innkeeper extraordinaire) and the super friendly puppy, Bailey. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back!

We loved the location; not in busy downtown Jackson, but just a few minutes away in a beautiful quiet spot where we could see plenty of wildlife all around us. We enjoyed the extra touches such as warm cookies in the lobby. The included breakfasts were delicious; not your standard hotel fake scrambled eggs.
The owners and staff were invariably helpful and friendly; we had questions about local restaurants and how to escape the Jackson downtown area, which was always jammed when we were there. Instead, we went to Teton Village and to hiking spots at Jenny Lake and Taggart/Bradley Lakes. The hotel location is perfect for a wide variety of activities.
Our room was cleaned daily; very comfortable bed. WiFi was decent. I think this was a great value and a memorable experience.

Maria & Taylor were amazing Inn Managers, our daily breakfast was amazing and cocktail hour was filled with delicious wine and great conversation. We meet some great people and the Inn was clean quiet and extremely comfortable with beautiful rooms.

The Brentwood Inn is a nice log, mountain style inn. The initial atmosphere is very cozy & inviting. The rooms are relatively spacious & nicely appointed. The bed was comfortable. There is a wine/cheese offering in the early evening but missed this because of dinner reservations in town. So no opinion. It was quiet overnight.
However - it goes downhill from there. Horrible mega-pothole at the driveway entrance. The front door sticks very badly & can almost not be opened without a good shoulder slam. The door to my room squeaked loudly. A simple spritz of WD-40?? No thermostat or in-room heat other than an electric oil, coil heater. This after long endless printed info regarding the “eco-friendliness” of the Inn. My room temperature was probably upper 50’s upon arrival. Chilly to be sure. Any noticeable thermostats around the building were set at 61 degrees. No visible after hours snacks, coffee or teas anywhere to be found for guests as you would expect at a B&B. Breakfast was especially disappointing. Luke warm coffee. Uncooked eggs, some kind of French toast with the visual & texture of a dish sponge sitting in water overnight. It was inedible.. It also seemed totally ok with the Inn Keepers for their dog to hang out IN the kitchen where food was being prepared & for him to wander around in the dining areas visiting guests. Totally inappropriate & wildly out of code regarding health department margins. We wanted to like the place but they need to do A LOT better.

We came back to Brentwood because it’s a charming B and B with lovely rooms and with the new team breakfast is better than ever. This is a warm and welcoming place that has the best chocolate chip homemade cookies and lovely happy hour.

Property was very nice, room was clean and having a fireplace was great. I’m short so getting in and out of tub to take a shower was tricky not to fall. Was not greeted when we got there around 4:20 (staff members were in dining room area talking and playing with dog and ignored us) We grabbed our blue envelope and brought out bags in. Then other people arrived and they were showing them around. Went for happy hour at 5 and it was not ready until 5:20 and was pretty lame. Still no one told us about the place. We introduced our selves and asked questions (young staff not very knowledgeable about the area). Breakfast was ok. Nice place close to Jackson and W im wilderness vibe but description made it seem like we would be greeted and get to know owners during happy hour and instead we felt like strangers in someone’s home.

Amazing and wonderful log lodge with spacious great room and comfortable guest room. Daily, chef-prepared breakfast is delicious and satisfying. Evening happy hour with complementary beverages and house made appetizers. Opt for the Wed shining chef prepared dinner too! Outstanding!!!

As a business owner, I really hate giving bad feedback. I honestly loved the area and the facilities. However, our room was not great from the start. We walked in to an accident from the dog who lives at the inn in our room. Overnight, we realized we would need to turn on the fireplace for warmth in the room. Unfortunately it wasn’t in working order and wasn’t for the stay. The inn keeper and staff worked hard trying to repair it. That late afternoon after returning from a day of exploring, another dog accident in the hallway by the room. It wasn’t handled right away. Again, I love the location but experience could’ve been better.

The Bentwood Inn is gorgeous and cozy. Our room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was delicious. The caretaker was very friendly and extremely accommodating to our late arrival. Next time we definitely want to arrive earlier and take advantage of the services and amenities we missed this round.

I'd like to preface this review by saying I have very, very, discerning taste. I've stayed in beautiful hotels all over the world so when I give a positive review, it's deserved.
This was our second stay at the Bentwood and it didn't disappoint. The rustic cabin was beautifully decorated, and we enjoyed sitting in the perfectly manicured yard. We even saw a baby moose and its mother grazing out back.
The breakfasts were gourmet all the way--chicken and waffles, crepes, Moroccan sauce with eggs. The chefs were sweet enough to share their recipes. We also enjoyed the happy hour each day with wine and horderves.
We attended the Friday night dinner. The meal was perfectly prepared and presented and the medley of flavors offered were delicious too. If I have to complain, I'd say the serving sizes could have been larger as we only received a small slice of elk meat. There wasn't much wine offered either.
Aside from the above nitpick, the Bentwood was lovely. The staff were accommodating and welcoming. I'd highly recommend this place. We'll certainly return for an encore.

We stayed four nights at the Bentwood Inn and could not have been more satisfied with our choice. The inn is absolutely lovely and serene. From coffee by the roaring fire in the quiet living room in the morning to enjoying a glass of wine in the beautiful backyard in the afternoon and then finally settling in for the night into the comfortable bed with luxuriously soft bedding, we were so happy we chose the Bentwood Inn. The young people on staff take their job seriously and work hard to make sure your experience at the inn is worth every penny. We only enjoyed the breakfast on one of our mornings because we left very early each day to beat the national park crowds but the breakfast was delicious. The inn is located about 15 minutes outside of Jackson and about 40 minutes from the entrance of Grand Teton NP. Yes, you are a bit closer to the park if you stay in a hotel in town but for us, it was worth the few minutes of extra driving to come back to the Bentwood Inn after a long day of hiking and sight seeing. Because we packed our lunches on hiking days, we really appreciated the kitchen that is available to guests. There is a full size refrigerator/freezer where you can keep your personal food/drink items, a sink for dishwashing and a microwave. We highly recommend the Bentwood Inn and will look forward to returning in the future.

One of the nicest b&b’s we’ve ever stayed at. Beautiful property, delicious breakfast, and wonderful hosts. In addition, we had booked one of the rooms for our 3-night stay and the host upgraded us to the incredible grand suite for free! It was the cherry on top of our Jackson Hole vacation and look forward to return. Thank you Brentwood!
