The property was well maintained and provided more than I expected at for the price that I was booking for. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfasts were substantial. Really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend to others.

Third visit here. Welcoming and friendly hosts. Breakfasts are very good especially the home made scones! Will go again if back in Stellenbosch.

It was a great experience , everything was "on point" our on site hostess Sandra was very accommodating and the room was very neat, clean and tidy, overall we were very happy with the guest house, and we can highly reccomend it to anyone else.
There was nothing actually that was worth mentioning that we didnt like, all was GOOD
4.3
The host Sandra is very pleasant, caring and friendly. She was extremely accommodating, as my arrival was much later than I had advised, as well as my check out time being much later . The place is very homely and the breakfast really good. She makes the best scones.

very pretty and well looked after
we could not use the lounge after 6pm and one night a few people sat outside our room and talked for hours from 2.30 am!
4.3
The style of the rooms and the garden.
The breakfast was poor
No fresh products
They had run out of fruits, eggs and good bread
They had to go to the market after our request to get provisions!! Both days!!

location is reasonably central to Stellenbosch city centre.
The rooms were terrible, we had 2 classic rooms at the top at the back. The way to get there was via a very unstable wooden stairs and creaky unlit walkway. The house has batteries for loadshedding, but at those times the rooms were super loudly clanging noises as if you were in a cage and someone was super loud rattling the bars for 30 seconds. Not fun in the middle of the night and not fun multiple times. When I raised the point with the lady, she was simply laughing at me, when I asked her what was funny, she finally said sorry, but never explained what actually the issue was. Terrible experience, the arrival was equally unprofessional and ridiculous. Not coming up the stairs to show us the rooms because she was scared of the walk way (very comforting) and incorrect wifi password which she then start cursing in Afrikaans to herself about. Would not recommend this place. It is an old large house that is smelly and not up to the standard as advertised.
4.3
Breakfast underwhelming and expensive.
Location was excellent
Choice and selection for breakfast. There were no refills of water, coffee & milk available in the bedrooms
4.3
Attention to detail with impeccable service and very comfortable beds. Backup power.

location, peaceful, reasonable room in the garden suite, good bathrooms, outdoor seating area.
Breakfast basic, no indoor seating area, no access to comfortable seating area inside the house after staff left at 4pm. No housekeeping on first day due to attention paid to departing guests.
4.3
It is situated in a beautiful area of Stellenbosch and the grounds are absolutely stunning! As pretty as the building and grounds are, the warmness and kindness of the staff were the real highlight of the stay.
4.3
We liked the location and friendly staff.
We did not like the following.
- 1 staff member only on site only so hard to find
- no telephone in the rooms so had visits from staff as it was the ONLY option.
- shower head needs to be replaced, spray was in every direction just not on the head
- nobody at breakfast except hordes of flies and no countermeasures against them
- only one bin in the unit, which was in the bathroom
- stairs were extremely steep and hard to access for anyone not fit and/or agile enough
Expectation with a price like that is that a set of basics are handled. Need more staff if booked out, one person can't be 3 places at once.

Good location and friendly/helpful staff, nice pool area
a bit small room, some trouble with the A/C
4.3
the hosts and the chefs
the small bed I got in the classic room. I haven’t slept in a 3/4 for 30 years and it was quite uncomfortable as the duvet kept falling off the bed but it was quite funny as I realized how spoilt I actually am!!

The manager at 5 seasons Guest house false accused me of having a visitor in my room. She came to do an inspection and saw no one, she continued to shout at me and continued to tell me that I had a visitor and that apparently she saw her wondering around the property and saw her at breakfast with me. When I told her that there is a misunderstanding and that I had no one with me and I had been alone the whole day, she continued to question me. I eventually asked her if I could talk to the owner and she wouldn’t allow me to, I then asked to see the CCTV footage and she didn’t want to show me that either.
No manager has the right to false accuse guests and when the guests get a bit angry at the way she carries on then she threatens to kick to out ( keep in mind this was at 6;30pm) and when the guests ask to see the footage they refuse to show it. I’m very disappointed.
She was a bully, she wouldn’t even let me talk. She just butted in every time and when she finished talking to me, she banged my bedroom door closed.
I have still not got the footage or an apology.
