Great location. Be aware that driving to get to the hotel is very difficult.

Red was exceptional. He assisted with reservations and made recommendations that were exactly what we were interested in! Very friendly!!

Interesting building, used to be a monastery. Perfect location!! Convenient breakfast every morning (extra charge). Lots of steps to third floor although elevator goes to 2nd floor. What we really appreciated about the hotel was how pleasant and helpful the staff were. We would definitely stay here again

By far the worst bed I’ve ever slept in. The entire property felt old, worn and dirty, and the bathroom was just OK. To note, I came back to the hotel very late at night after a performance at the opera, and the night person was nowhere to be found. I had to wake my partner up to come and get me. The door was very complicated, and only then did the night person come and assist, but seemed annoyed that we had bothered him. Second, in the late afternoon, the fire alarm went off for five minutes, two separate times. It was extremely loud, and just miserable. Third, The air conditioner, which was very old, never worked properly, and when it did, was not very cool, and very loud. The state of this property otherwise ruined a very nice work/holiday.

Perfect location for exploring the old town area on foot.

Wonderful unique hotel that is a converted convent with a rich historical ambience, a most comfortable accommodation and a helpful and friendly staff that made us feel most welcome. Also, a perfect location in the heart of the old town and amazing dining experiences, bistros, cafes, and delightful shops.

I LOVED my stay here! The location alone is unbeatable, and when you walk in, the historic convent detailing is so endearing. Yes, the room itself is basic and dated, and the bed is best suited for back sleepers, but that’s the charm you sign up for when staying in a historic property. And let me say, the staff was PHENOMENAL! Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting to Aix.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Some real character and the team very friendly. Nightmare trying to find any parking due to the one way system and no parking at the hotel. Recommend get information from hotel first

It is impossible to reach this hotel in a car. It took nearly two hours to park. Upon leaving we had to take our luggage by hand to the parking lot ten minutes away. There should be a warning to drivers. The staff tried to make up the lost day with coffee and croissants. That simply wasn't reasonable compensation for a lost half day.

The building itself was beautiful and the staff were fabulous! We asked for restaurant recommendations and were extremely pleased with the suggestion we received.

Would not stay here again. Pros: Great staff, super location, nice foyer. That’s about it. Cons: Rooms are ugly, run down, and smelly. Nothing like the photos on Expedia. Our room smelled of carpet cleaner. The furniture looked so dirty that we didn't want to sit on it. Bed was hard. The bathtub was stained and looked dirty. The ceiling in the bathroom was stained, as if there had been a water leak. There is no shower curtain, so you can't avoid getting water on the floor as you stand in the dirty bathtub attempting to shower with the handheld shower. The staff do their best, but the hotel’s owners clearly don't care about guest comfort, perhaps because they know they have a great location.

Super cute hotel in an excellent location with lovely, helpful staff!

Beautiful lobby and dining area with a stained glass window, period paintings and library, very quiet even though it is in the heart of the retail and restaurant area.
Staff excellent!

It is in an old convent and had lots of character. It is very close to the Cours Mirabeau, lots of cafes and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Impossible to access except on foot with no parking. Had to carry luggage 1/4 mile.

This location is amazing, right off the cour Mirabeau….with lots of fountains, restaurants, cafes and shopping. Aix has been wonderful, so much to see and do. And the weather has been great!

The shower was a little backwards and our floor was wet when we arrived. But by day 3 we had it down Pat! The bed was a bit of a banana, but everything else was lovely -especially the staff.

Nothing special about the room for the price we paid

Very charming building. Bed was not great; mattress and no spring. Tub had a shower but no curtain. If you showered with the handheld it ran out all over the floor. Tub hard to get out of for a senior citizen

A beautiful small hotel, lovingly appointed, with very gracious staff.

I would have given this hotel 5 stars except that we were disappointed with the breakfast which was not worth what we paid for it. The room was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful.

On our arrival, we were greeted by a male staff member who was exceptionally friendly & welcoming. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning with historical details & relics from its convent history. Our room was very big & comfortable with 2 window looking directly onto the street.
The location was fabulous, close to restaurants, shops & transport links.
Slight gripes with the bathroom. The shower needs updated- the mixer flow isn't consistent with the temperature so you can suddenly have too hot or cold water coming through. The water flow is weak also. Plus, the towels are pretty hard & thin. Would be nice to have soft, fluffy towels. On the plus side, dressing gowns, slippers & nice toiletries were on hand.
We only had breakfast on the first morning, which at 15 euros each, we felt was overpriced. There wasn't an awful lot of selection & there seemed to be a delay in replenishing items. No hot items except a do it yourself boiled egg machine. My husband used this & the egg was in for 15 mins & was still liquid. Would be better to mass boil eggs for guests. Lastly, the staff member in the dining room was run off his feet so the receptionist was in helping him to the detriment of people standing at reception.
Apart from these few gripes, it really is a lovely hotel & would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay with great comfort for the 2 rooms for our family of 4.
Accommodations were lovely and the bathroom was excellent with wonderful shower and lighting.
The hotel staff were so helpful and assisted us with our transport calling an excellent car service to airport.
Recommendations for local restaurants were very helpful and we appreciated the excellent cleaning of our room during h our stay.
A true gem of a hotel and we will be back!

Staff was helpful. Room was large and very clean. Great location.

A 3 star hotel well located in the old town. Interesting internally and rooms are quaint. Beds comfortable. Shower over bath was good pressure but controls aged and stiff. Dont expect complimentary British Tea or milk amd bottled water is very expensive. Electrics are "interesting" as when you switch the light on this also powers the socket for the fridge.
Staff very good. Did not have breakfast. Food and drink not allowed in room.

Difficult to bring a car around to load luggage, otherwise excellent.

Very nice hotel.
I did not give 5 stars because the double bed was 2 singles beds push together and this is annoying
Also no shower curtain in the tub. Basically you watering the floor !

Great.

The room was "deluxe", but was hot with non-functioning air conditioner. Room was situated in the first floor beside the elevator, so along the late evening it was very noisy. Also many things in the bathroom were broken. If this would have been 100 euros cheaper, it would have gone, but the price-quality relation was poor. Only the location was ok.

In the center of town. Close to dining, sites, parking etc. Secure parking garage within walking distance. Very safe location. The hotel room was very clean. AC works, but cool to a certain internal setting. Breakfast not included with cost. Need to inform them that you don’t want breakfast or you get charged.

All good except the receptionist said we had only booked one room when we had booked two. Was eventually resolved.
