Wonderfully tranquil hotel. A million dollar view. Few issues with ants in the balcony. Some communication issues - I was promised an invoice by email but nothing was sent. Additionally, I was charged for 4 breakfasts instead of 3. The staff said they were “unable” to credit my card for the additional breakfast,?which seemed strange to me. Very helpful staff and attentive to requests.

Beautiful, relaxing property with a gracious and welcoming staff.

This is a very beautiful location! The staff was super helpful and very friendly. This boutique hotel does not have a restaurant but does provide catering, so you can get breakfast in the morning and dinner service in the evening. There is no bar per se but they do serve a mean Plantar 😉 The plunge pool in March ‘24 was amazingly warm, like bathwater! The grounds are beautiful, it’s private and safe. No beach access but you can see the ocean and it is stunning!! Highly suggest renting a car, you can park on the grounds & there are a number of dining options in the area. The staff will help you set up reservations. The only drawback is our TV did not work and the Wi-Fi is a little wonky. We did stay in the first floor, which was next to the kitchen but really no problem. Located conveniently between St. Anne & St. François. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay 💜

This hotel has a fantastic view that will make proud of your choice right at the start. It is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and professional. Clarisse at the desk has one of the best welcome and advices that I had on vacation. Everything is well thought and perfect. The mattress, the linen, separate towels for pool and even the bathroom products are first class.
We liked it so much that we stayed 2 extra days.

Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The room was lovely, with a gorgeous view, very comfortable bed, and nice bathroom. Having morning coffee or a pre-dinner drink on the balcony enjoying the view and serenity was my favorite thing. I spent a lot of time in the infinity pool which also had a beautiful view and was the perfect temperature. Lucille, the hotel manager, was so welcoming when we arrived and very helpful throughout our stay, especially arranging special things to do and helping us choose restaurants, and the location outside Saint Francois turned out to be just right

Amazing stay at the Amaudo hotel. It is a small hotel that makes it a very peaceful and calm area. The swimming pool is perfect. The room was big with good AC that was needed. We wish we would have stayed a second night !

Romantic hotel! The room has a gorgeous view from the balcony. The hotel ground was beautiful. I enjoyed the song that Lucile played in the lobby area! We spent good amount of time just relaxing on the balcony, eating, and enjoying the view. Enjoyed the infinity pool. The staff was very nice and friendly, especially Lucile who made sure we had a pleasant stay!

We stayed at Amaudo as part of an island hopping vacation in the Caribbean. Amaudo is a very well run hotel with excellent service. It is a little out of the way and you definitely need a car. The resort has a beautiful infinity pool. The only negative is that unfortunately they have neighbors with barking dogs which could be annoying. The room is set up with the fridge outside, which was different. Great hotel which is very well taken care of.

The hotel is located close to the city but does not have access to a beach. Rooms are spacious and cozy, well organized and very comfortable to use. We received a clean room and kept it that way throughout our stay. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. The staff also speaks English! Most useful! The breakfasts are nice and are served on a spectacular terrace. Overall they enjoyed the stay and recommend the hotel warmly.

Very few hotels exceed expectations but this one did. Stunning view of the ocean. Welcoming and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast overlooking the infinity pool. Quiet and nicely landscaped grounds. Many good restaurants within 10 minute drive.

The hotel is tucked away in the beautiful countryside of Guadeloupe looking down at the sea. The balcony gives breathtaking views. The area around the hotel is sparse. You definitely need a car to get to restaurants and beaches. The manager of the hotel, Lucille is fabulous! She does anything she can to make the stay enjoyable. She made our dinner reservations (a must as we did not speak fluent French) and provided us any information we needed. Carey served breakfast in the morning on the veranda. I highly recommend the morning breakfast. Fresh fruits, eggs, cheeses and fresh baked bread. Carey spoke fluent English and help give great travel tips. She is a gem!

Our stay was wonderful! We stayed with our 5 months old baby, and had a great tme. The manager and host, Lucile, was exceptionally helpful and kind - assisting us with recommendations about beaches and restaurants, as well as with anything else we needed. The breakfast is great, the pool is spacious enough and has a beautiful view, the room is nicely decorated, and overall we had lovely stay in a place which felt like home away from home.

Great family owned property. We arrived late and the lady ( I cannot think of her name) was readily available to show us around the room and the property. fresh flowers and awesome drink was ready for us. the night was really peaceful. the area is well kept with nice pool and nice view of the ocean Keep in mind that the property does not have access to the beach
WI Fi worked really good. Room were standard european style. As an american who travel a lot I know how to lower my expectation and be happy with a good night sleep. The matress was a lil told but hey I was there for only one night.
Just some TBT Driving here from the airport is horrible with the traffic. As in most of Guadeloupe, stores close fairly early.

This is a beautiful small hotel situated on a quiet, mainly residential road about 5 minutes drive outside St. François. The property is very clean, neat and tidy with pleasant gardens and infinity pool to the rear which overlooks the Caribbean Sea and over to Dominica and Marie Galante. Breakfast is taken looking out over the pool, gardens and the water beyond which is a perfect way to start the day. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean and decorated in a French style with a modern ensuite. Annie and Philippe are perfect hosts and are very kind and helpful. This is a quiet, intimate hotel and perfect as a base to explore the rest of the island of Guadeloupe as well as the smaller islands which are a boat ride away from St. François. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We stayed at the hotel just for one night within a week of vacation and it was actually our best night in Guadeloupe. The hotel is absolutely charming. The hosts were very professional and helpful. We just loved the place. Highly recommended!!!

We arrived after check-in time but the manager was waiting to take us to our room and give us our welcome rum punch drinks. The room was neat and clean and had everything we wanted. The next morning we walked onto the spacious balcony and were greeted with a magnificent vista that included a view of Caribbean waves breaking on a rock formation, lush vegetation and a vista that went on for miles. Morning breakfasts by the infinity pool were superb - fresh fruit, french pastries, yogurt, fresh juice, tea or coffee. Annie and Philippe couldn't have been nicer hosts. They answered all of our questions and provided expert advice on local sites and dining. We had to leave at 6 am to catch our flight and both were up to wish us farewell.

Philippe and Annie were phenomenal hosts. They were so helpful in making our stay comfortable, and they recommended great restaurants. The view from the hotel is gorgeous, overlooking the sea. The pool and lounge area are extremely comfortable. You need a car to get around. If you are looking for a cute bed and breakfast with amazing hosts, a beautiful view, at a good value, this is the place!

This is a small hotel in two colonial style buildings about 10 minutes by car from the excellent restaurants of Saint François and 20 minutes from the town of Saint Anne. It has 10 rooms, a breakfast area, and a good infinity pool overlooking the Carribean. The hotel is meticulously clean. The couple who run it, Phillippe and Annie are warmth and hospitality itself full of useful tips and directions to help you get the best out of a stay.
The breakfasts of fresh tropical fruits, breads and croissant and coffee are a great start to the day. Otherwise, dining out is a must as the hotel does not have a restaurant and due to its peaceful location a hire car is also an essential. There are however many excellent restaurants and I was able to rely on the recommendations of Phillippe and Annie.
I think that some knowledge of French is helpful in Guadeloupe as this is the first language, the second being creole, and English a distant third.
2.5
This hotel is wonderful, better for leisure than business but never the less a lovely relaxing place, its bed and breakfast and the breakfast served is fresh and plentiful. Generally the rooms, pool, gardens and surrounding areas are really well kept, very clean, tidy and well maintained. It is tucked away off the main road and I had no difficulty finding it as it is well signed from the main N4. I would not hesitate to stay at Amaudo when next visiting Guadeloupe.

Wonderful hotel. Copious and healthy breakfast (unlike most hotels): Plenty of fresh fruits, yogurts, bread, croissants, pain au chocolat. Wonderful swimming pool. A must-see!
