Rent og ryddig. Utsikten på det første rommet var bra.
Komfyrvakta begynte å pipe under oppholdet. Ingen kunne skru den av eller fikse den, var ingen vaktmester tilgjengelig i helgen. Fikk tildelt nytt rom da jeg spurte, men var kjedelig å måtte pakke sammen sakene og bytte rom. Nytt rom hadde utsikt rett ut i bakgården. Spurte om kompensasjon for bryet, med det var ikke aktuelt. Også litt kjedelig frokost.

The hotel has beautiful views, rooms were nice, quiet with good beds. The bathroom was basic with no shower curtain. Breakfast was very good. The hotel was good value. The restaurant was good in the evening.

The bar staff were very friendly. The view was beautiful.
The rooms were out of date. It was two twin beds pushed together with no hook keeping them from sliding apart. The base also wasn’t hooked to the headboard so it slid around. The mattress was also low quality, very springy. Walls were also too thin. Heard our neighbors having sex throughout the night. Breakfast was just okay.

We loved everything about our stay. When we arrived we were upgraded and had a fabulous room which opened onto a terrace and had a view across the valley. There is a lovely pool and a sauna - perfect for relaxing after skiing. The restaurant and lounge were very cosy and the staff helpful and friendly.
Nothing!

They have mini kitchen, but total no tools.
Good breakfast at weekends.
Comfortable bed.
As 4* hotel standarts: no tea or coffe in room, no cups, no shower gel or shampoo (just hands soap).

From the first 16 seconds, when I started talking to the receptionist, I felt that everything would be fine.A friendly receptionist with a big smile and very efficient gave me the keys to the room, and the information about the room, parking, Wi-Fi, breakfast.I received a clean, airy room with a large window and a superb view. The room is furnished with new, clean and useful things. Clean and nice-smelling bed linen, wooden parquet on the floor. Very clean bathroom equipped with everything you need.

Location is the only good part of this hotel.
It lacked basic amenities such as tea/coffee in the rooms. No shampoo, conditioner, shower wash etc. No hairdryer! All of which I've had in basic hostels, nevermind a very expensive hotel. The breakfast they serve was poor, cold, and not enough to go around the guests.

It is a rather large hotel with a lot of rooms, a pool & sauna (extra 350 NOK) and a nice view. We received an upgrade for an apartment. The receptionist let us know that there will to be a lot of persons before 8 am at the breakfast and that he therefore recommends to attend breakfast later.
It certainly was very quiet at the breakfast after 8 am, but also the buffet was missing quite some important items (milk, orange juice, etc). It took a while until everything was in stock again.

This is one of those little timeless family run mountain chalets you might be tempted to keep secret so it’s not fully booked next year. Its a very traditional little place, with lovely friendly owners and staff who make you feel so welcome. Theres a really nice view you can enjoy during breakfast or from the living room. This is in a nice little spot that doesn’t have too many tourists, there’s a nice little sauna, and a fire to warm up by. The food and service at breakfast and dinner was another level, such a lovely surprise and completely unexpected (when I considered the cost, location and that it’s a mountain chalet catering for sometimes quite a lot of people). Besides the fact the food was delicioso, they also catered for all different dietary needs/requests without batting an eyelid or making people feel like a bother. What a lovely trip!

Great location and half ways between Bergen and Oslo.
The mattresses were the worst we ever experienced in a hotel (not to speak of the even below IKEA Niveau of the duvets and pillows). Our room was in the basement (albeit with a small (yet entirely uncared for) terrace. To reach our room we had to pass big trolleys with dirty laundry. The room itself was ok and, like the entire hotel, furnished in shabby-chic pseudo cottage style. Due to three busloads (so we were told), the dinner was a buffet (mostly out of the pre-prepared shelf). As non-busload guests we were fortunately allowed to take our food up from the breakfast room to the main restaurant. The breakfast room has the charm of a run down bus station (in luck of having a view of the mountains). At breakfast time the tables were already set for the (presumably again busload) evening, and we were seated at one of two small side tables so narrowly placed that it was difficult for us (50Kg / 75Kg) to get seated - which completed the bus station waiting room feeling. Breakfast was a very reduced experience and some items already out 45 minutes before closing time. The four star hotel rating is an absolute joke. In continental comparison this would rather be a 2-3.

good location
No possibility to hang or store clothes / no cupboards or drawers. No space for toiletries. Only single, narrow beds which cant be connected together and which slide across the floor. Parking spaces limited.
I asked for a fried egg at breakfast as the scrambled eggs were powdered and, even though there was only a few people in the restaurant was told @i dont have time to make special eggs for you@ Needs to be more than one waffle maker so guests dont have to queue. Also given a substandard room on arrival which was not what was booked but able to change following day after having to complain
