Wonderful stay, friendly staff, beautiful hotel, fabulous breakfast (especially breakfast staff!). We are a bit hot natured & could not get our room to cool down even with the windows open. With no top sheet the comforter added more heat so our sleep was not the best. Comfortable otherwise.

We were greeted by Maria then checked in by Mario. Both were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The property was clean and well appointed. Our party of 4 made a reservation for the spa. We had to pay a fee since it did not come complimentary with our superior double rooms. It was quite nice and relaxing. We then went to the terrace solarium was beautiful and even more relaxing!
Dinner at their restaurant was outstanding!! The multi course meal was creative and delicious! Both the food and service were 5 star!! We would highly recommend staying at the Palazzo Bontadosi for anyone staying in the Montefalco area.
The only negative was the parking which was a bit inconvenient to the hotel.

The two night experience was wonderful. The staff provided first class service and the room was the perfect romantic setting. The restaurant in the hotel provided exceptional breakfast and dinner.

We had a great time, the treatment is way above what could be expected for the price paid, and the location is absolutely stunning!

Great hotel as a base to enjoy Umbria. He staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Walking distance from restaurants and shops.

Palazzo Bontadosi is located in the beautiful and centrally located Montefalco. The hotel is quite historic with many preserved details and art works throughout adding to the special ambiance. But what made our stay so enjoyable was the front desk staff who were extremely kind and helpful to us by recommending restaurants, wine tastings and other small towns to visit. It is an ideal location from which to explore Umbria!

The hotel was fabulous. Great staff and lovely breakfast. The town of Montefalco was beautiful. Small with an atmospheric square with restaurants and bars. Would recommend as a true taste of Umbria

Incredibly stylish, beautiful hotel in a stunningly beautiful location

The service was excellent and very friendly. Staff assisted with winery visit bookings and dinner recommendations and bookings. Room was spacious and well appointed. The only negative was the housekeeping staff failed to stock toilet paper and soap so requests had to be made when we ran out. Should also note that the building is interesting given it’s centuries old. The mix of old and new made it aesthetically appealing. The restaurant that shares the space was top notch. We would definitely return to this hotel.

We were absolutely overwhelm by the kindness, friendliness and installations of this small cozy, well keep, clean and well price hotel!
We strongly recommend this place! Susana, Antonella, Pascual & the MASTER PASQUALINO (CHEF among CHEFS!) make us fell very sad to leave this marvelous place… in the rest of our itinerary, we couldn’t surpass the glorious meal that we enjoyed at the Hotel Restaurant! We would love to come back soon!

Hotel was in perfect location. Clean, well appointed and spacious. However, the bed and pillows were European style (hard), so if you are American, you will not find that comfortable. Also, there was no wifi in the room. In every other way, the hotel exceeded our expectations.

Nice hotel, could do with more comfortable and softer furnishings. Also Montefalco is a bit boring.

A boutique hotel with lots of art work around, but no feeling of comfort to it. We'd booked for 3 nights but left after 1 night.Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open on Mondays which we didn't know about,(but there's a lovely local restaurant 2 doors away) and the spa didn't work. The bedrooms, although very stylish were impractical: no drawers or shelves for underwear or jumpers etc, no bath towels, (there were bath robes) no easy chairs. We were quite disappointed.
Having said all that, the receptionist was quite happy to help us find an alternative hotel. Fortunately we knew of one ourselves, but we were sorry to leave Montefalco.

We were in Montefalco for two nights and loved this hotel. We were in room 7 and had an amazing, huge terrace that provided the views of Umbria that we were looking for. The room was beautiful with frescoes on the ceiling, hard wood floors and a huge, comfortable bed. Our price was over $300 per night, so I anticipated a nice room and it certainly was.On the con side....we couldnt get the overhead shower to work, so used the handheld spray instead. And montefalco is a really quiet town....the hotel is in the main square...the only happening spot really. But it is in beautiful Umbrian wine country with great wineries closeby. We ate at Alchemist....the best in town!!! And the town of Foligno is nearby and very convenient on the train line.
