Our stay at Thurrock Best Western hotel, was very good, lovely, friendly and helpful staff.
Our room was very nice, clean and really good facilities.
We had a lovely tasty evening meal and a really good breakfast. Thank you

Easy check-in. Excellent breakfast. Nice room. Great location, just off M25.
Parking £5 inside barriered car park, but you can park just outside the barrier

Have stayed here many times.
The hotel is conveniently located just off the M25, close to Lakeside Shopping Centre.
Plenty of car parking, hotel grounds clean.
Check in was quick and easy and the lobby was clean and festively decorated.
Room was clean, tidy and spacious.
Restaurant and bar are nice, well stocked and reasonably priced. Food is lovely.
All the staff are friendly and helpful.
I always stay here when I visit the area and will be back again soon.

Family trip.
Not our first visit to the Thurrock.
Staff are especially friendly and responsive and we always feel welcome.
Great access to Lakeside.
Many thanks to Luke and Robyn.
Look forward to our next stay.
For those who haven't been there's a bar and restaurant. Also they have a cracking breakfast.

I had to wait too long for the reception-guy…
Everything else was beyond okay!

Hot and mosquito infested

A lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff, room was very spacious with tea and coffee, tv, wifi, etc

Under staffed reception and bar meant staff were running between the two. Which meant waiting at the bar or reception until they were available. Check-in information was poor.
There was a huge party with a late bar that finished at 1am. The rooms are not sound proofed as detailed in the room description.
My room had a fusty smell and the en-suite smelt of sewerage. Mentioned this to reception who said it would be reported to maintenance. No additional fans available, unfortunately the room was hot hot hot and it wasn’t even a particularly hot day / night. I was given an additional sheet to use instead of the duvet which was appreciated. Left the window open to try and cool the room and as a result was bitten to bits by mosquitos.
All in all a dreadful stay. No I wouldn’t stay again

The outside garden was not in good condition and there was a female manager when I first arrived that was rude and complained in front of customers. But, as the week went on, she was not there. Everyone else was pleasant. There was just a lot of noise from the highway.

Window in shower room either needs a blind or to be more frosted, you can see right in. Rooms a bit dated, have stayed at other Best Western Hotels so was a bit disappointed that this wasn't the same. No big mirror to check what you look like once dressed, only the mirror above the dressing table. Otherwise, staff very friendly, car save in the locked car park and bed comfortable.

I had a great stay here, I was there for 4 days and personally I would say the price is great too. There is also a vending machine that is nice. And Uber eats delivers there too!

This was a stop overnight on the way to a funeral. We had a three room for us, as a couple, and my husband's mum. Everything was adequate for the cost.

We attended an 80th birthday party and booked a suite to stay in. It was spacious and recently renovated . The Staff were all lovely. Breakfast very nice. Thank you for a nice stay. good value.

A fellow guest used brute force and banged my door (room 128) and opened it.
It was an terrible experience

Staff were welcoming. The hotel aesthetics are beautiful.

Extremely beautiful home inside. Very clean rooms with good ameneties (shower gel, tv, iron, plenty of plug sockets). The bathroom was very clean but would benefit from a reform in the next couple of years.
Very quiet room.
Only downside is that the restaurant is closed on Sundays which I hadn't realised so had to pop out for food.
Would absolutely stay here again.

I was really suprised at the size of the room when I walked in and really impressed with the tea and amentites in the bathroom. I would stay again

Having previously stayed here twice, I was aware of what was provided for a stay. On this occasion though, a suite came up at an affordable price so I was given much more in the way of space and luxury which included a jetted bathtub which was a sublime way to finish a long, tiring day. Breakfast was wonderful as usual and I could not ask for a better piece of accommodation.

A very clean and lovely place. Staff very welcoming and well presented. Rooms are large and comfortable bed.
Only negative feedback I can give is no lamp/light for when you don’t want the main lights on. I enjoyed my break and will return when I’m in the area again.

Easily reached from the M25 and just a few minutes drive from Lakeside Shopping Centre. Chafford Hundred Railway Station is only a 5 minute drive/20 minute walk away, with frequent trains to Southend and Central London. Ample parking at the hotel, with fast easy check in and friendly, helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Bathroom was clean, with a good powerful shower. The on-site bar is pleasant with a good range of drinks. The restaurant also serves delicious meals. Breakfast is also very nice and comprises of a help yourself cold offering (cereals, fruit, yoghurt) and a hot buffet of quality items, served by staff.
A great stay, will definitely be back soon.
Special mention to Duty Manager Donna, who was always very friendly and helpful and very hard working.

Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Expedia had said the restaurant was closed but it was actually open and was giving out old information. Good idea to check directly with hotel.

Shocking stay, music blaring out till midnight. Church service singing till 11pm another night. Staff uninterested in helping in anyway

This was an excellent budget stay to visit family nearby. On arrival we were offered a free drink and breakfast was already included free. The room was huge for a basic room with a great rain forest shower, king size bed, big T.V. and ironing board etc if you needed it. I noticed that if available you could upgrade to a suite for just £30. Great value for money - plenty of free parking.
1.5
The hotel was extremely quiet for such a large place. The room room was basic and dated but most of all there was no heating which made my one night stay uncomfortable. Staff were dressed casually with no corporate image and could be mistaken for guests. Breakfast was buffet style but hot food had to be served by a casually dressed staff member and felt awkward. Unfortunately I will not be returning

Turned up on the evening of booking and no room was available however they have managed to take payment
