Very good location in the city centre with rooms overlooking the lake. Very kind staff. Nice restaurant. Good breakfast buffet. Very nice spa. It has been my second time in this hotel and I will come back

Well located, great views of the lake from the dining area and from many rooms. Friendly, curteous and efficient staff at check-in. Good engkish spoken. Loved the fact that we had unlimited access to purified water.

Wonderful staff. Every single one. Super views and if lucky enough to have a clear sky the volcanoes are brilliant to see. Restaurant evening food excellent. Breakfast a bit boring after 9 days with scrambled egg every day. Pool not as big as I thought but water jets, a running machine and sauna makes up for it.
Showers were luke warm and presumably not an eco thing because the towels were changed virtually every day which I do not agree with.
Overall we were both very happy with our stay.

Top notch place!! Great rooms, great views, great staff, great restaurants. We loved it here. Location was also amazing.

All the staff at Bellevista were so helpful and patient with us (as we asked a million questions every day). They gave great recommendations for places to eat and things to do and see. We had a lovely view of the volcano and lake. We loved our stay here.

This property has a beautiful view. That's all. The room ($200 us) had NO amenities. No Kleenex. One plug. Very weird addition to be used as (closet?). Ancient fixtures in the bathroom. Missing a lampshade and none of the lights matched. Basically it had no decor. No coffee. Rug was threadbare. Towel warmer didn't work. We have stayed at Motel 6's that had more amenities and more charm. The lobby is very nice. The breakfast was quite large and varied. I think it was very overpriced.

The location was great, right downtown and on the bay, it was right in the activity or festival and walking distance to rental kayaks, etc. Our room had a beautiful view of Volcan Orsono. It's also right on top of the street that borders the bay. It's an older building, with no heat or AC in the room (that we could find, anyway). To cool off, we had the window wide open, which was OK during the day, but when we wanted to sleep, we had to close the window to keep out traffic noise, so it got a bit toasty. Great breakfast. Good restaurant for dinner, as well. Staff was quite nice.

We stayed here twice on our trip. The second stay we got an updated room, which was much much nicer than the one we got in the first stay. We enjoyed the lake views from our window.

Great location, beautiful views, easy parking. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. They had live music on upstairs deck which was nice but the service was horrible. Beds could be upgraded for price of stay.

There is a patio right next to my room with very loud noise of music playing constantly. group people would go to the patio and being very very loud till very late at night. requested if possible for me to remove my room since it was so loud, they refused it, so no I do not recommend this place to anybody. Staff weren’t very helpful or accommodating. View from the room is beautiful. That’s a only good thing about this hotel 😞👎👎

The issue was the room. Poor lighting, moldy smell. Ready bad settings

Bring right on the lake with a view from your room cannot be beat. We loved this quirky hotel with so much history and character. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was extensive and wonderful. The pool was inviting and the real fire in the common space made us feel cozy and warm on a chilly rainy day. There is even a reading space with books to borrow.

This place is very peaceful and the location is excellent facing the lake Llanquihue. The hotel had a bar, restaurant and even lots of places to relax such as a library. Breakfast was also good. People were helpful.

VERY NICE PLACE TO STAY

Nice hotel, well located and with beautiful views. Only setback was the strict need to schedule the use of the amenities but otherwise it was ok

Lovely comfortable, friendly hotel with great views and cosy lounges and communal areas which
I think would be great if you visit in winter.
The breakfast was very good with an amazing selection of cakes and very good bread.

Unlucky to be there a night with hot weather. Since there is no AC, we opened the windows and didn’t sleep because the street noises. We decided to leave to another hotel. We had used hotel.com for 2 nights. We wanted to be assure that we pay for one night only but the hotel management didn’t guarantee the one night only. The front desk told me they called hotel.com and got no answer but I called hotel.com and while I stood in the front desk, hotel.com called the hotel and AMAZINGLY they let the phone ring over and over in front of us. I was appalled and told them to pick up the phone, so they did and put the hotel.com agent on hold. The hotel.com agent called me back when we were in the room ready to move to a different hotel. Hotel Bellavista never picked up the phone. But the agent reassured us that we won’t be charge. A simple issue could have been solved easily by talking to the hotel.com agent.

Super lindo, la habitación muy acogedora con vista al lago y volcanes. El restaurant ofrece onces alemanas exquisitas!!

The location of this hotel is wonderful. Right in town with beautiful views of the lake. Julieta at the front desk was so helpful and made our stay comfortable. The work cafe was good to have and our room was large with a small refrigerator. I think the breakfast could be improved - adequate but limited.

Bellavista is a historic hotel. You can see pictures and some remains from the very first years of the hotel. Our room had a wonderful view to the lake. Staff was very friendly. We couldn’t use all the amenities because of the COVID precautions. But the hotel has sauna and indoor Pool.

Lake view combined with excellent view of the snow capped Osorno volcano & the one next to it.

Didn’t like room, poor ventilation and bathroom with no extraction

Lovely staff, great bar for relaxing; all by the lake.

Great location on the Lake with Volcano views. Hotel in reasonable condition but room was hot, with little air flow and no air conditioning.
Generally staff okay, but front desk staff were not helpful & made life difficult at check in & check out.

Excellent view from the room to volcan Osorno. Good breakfast and clean room.

Breakfast disappointing especially the bread quality and lack of fresh fruit.
Problem with lack of hot water for first 30 hours satisfactorily resolved
Excellent location

My wife and I only stayed for one night at Bellavista after the Andes crossing by boat and bus. The hotel is very centrally located - close to many restaurants and directly across from the water. We enjoyed amazing views of the three volcanoes from our room, which was large and had a comfy bed. Note, there is limited English spoken here, but the staff is very kind and helpful. Breakfast provided a nice variety of hot and cold options.

The staff are very welcoming and the hotel is very comfortable. The breakfast is great. We really enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and relaxing after a day of touring the area. the rooms are very clean and the hotel is well maintained and in a great location.

This hotel was great! It was beautiful, had great staff and service. The only one thing that occurred is that one of the days we had no hot water to take a shower. The problem was resolved and remainder of our stay was amazing!

Beautiful view of the lake and volcano. Great location on the waterfront.

It’s a ok hotel. We tried to get Dreams next door but no more rooms available, so booked Bellavista as an alternative. The hotel has a history and overall quite nice, with great view and very kind staff, but I have to say the room facilities could be renewed to match the price we are paying. There is a indoor pool but literally small as a bathtub… anyway, service and staff is really helpful and lovely!

Our stay in Puerto Varas was fabulous! The hotel Bellavista had beautiful views from every room. Volcanoes in full view! The breakfasts were delicious with lots of variety.
1.3
It was amazing the only thing weird was that the bathroom didn’t have exhaust or ventilation. Otherwise the sound of water from the lake across the river was amazing.
