Reception desk staff were lovely and friendly. Was a shame room wasn't cleaned during our stay, and towels weren't changed. Also would have been helpful to know the car park barrier code before arrival as parking is all private or for disabled drivers around the hotel. Overall for what we paid, the hotel was good value.

Very convenient for where we wanted to go and great having private parking;
Shower curtain too long so water diverted onto floor. Would like a non-slip mat in the shower.

Helpful staff and property well designed for our needs. Well supplied kitchen considering only a kitchenette.

Breakfast inconsistent and if you are arriving on a bank holiday reception is closed so they will email you how to get your room key. Overall good value for price we paid

This was an overnight stop it served all of our needs.

Room was clean and well equipped although a little tired looking, but comfortable and perfect. Really nice staff, great communication before and during the visit accommodating our needs. 20 minutes walk to the town center to the bars and restaurants and easy to get out to the main highways to get around Normandie. Thank you

I had been in 2 hotels for my vacation trip and they do not compare with sejour hotel. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel as first choice.

Clean Quiet comfortable. All around are student housing. Restaurant's near by but 10-20 minuet walk actually 10-20 minuet walk to just about every sight you likely want to see.
Your able to do some cooking in the room and several grocery stores are 10 minuets walk away.
Room is nice but a little small, and no AC, opening the window/door and it cooled down in the evening very well.

One clerk came outside to yell at us for idling the car in the cold in the handicap space we needed. Ad says Pet friendly, but staff agitated dog, we left. Manager was respectful and responsive, but staff needs training and customer service. Could be a nice place with different staff.

Nice enough place. Check in was confusing. After flying for 24 hours, we couldn't get into our room early, even though it was ready. We survived. Just be aware, no early entry.

One of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on, decor a little tired and grubby in places, but generslly good.

We stopped here on our way down to the vendee after arriving via Eurotunnel at Calais. Arrived at about 5pm, check in went well with English speaking receptionist (we do try to speak french but it was lovely that she spoke English too). (3euro parking charge)
Room very good with shower room, very well equipped kitchen area (even a bottle opener), with tea towel and welcome pack of washing up sponge and cloth. Door through to bedroom, comfy bed and tv (could only find news channel in English, our french isn’t that good!). Large openable window to let in a breeze if needed.
Covid - Facemasks worn by all and room was clean.
We ate out after walking down to Port de Plaisance which was a 20 min walk, we would have driven but the walk was welcomed after our long drive from home in the uk.
Definitely will stay here again, very good value for money as was around the £50 mark.

The room was very small.. there was mold in the shower. No AC. The hallways were very dark ans old. We dis not stay the night. We left.
4.0
Dorm like.. dark hallways, dark doors, mishmash of regular apartment dwellers, college students, hotel guests etc.
not an enjoyable experience despite the favorable and high reviews. Was not in close walking distance to old town. Nothing around the place but just a group of dorm buildings
With students hanging around.
Go somewhere else to stay! Details on this place is misleading!

SO MANY MOSQUITOES OMG
4.0
The size of the room is fine and the ammendities are good. The room was not clean though; we moved the refrigerator to see if the cooking station was connected and saw a lot of dirt and old food. There were also a lot of dirty spots on the walls. Some of them were smashed mosquitoes (there were a lot of them in and around the room), and some also looked like mold.

Room ok but bathroom not very clean and sofa bed very uncomfortable.

Plus was the parking facilities:-) cheap and sufficient :-)
Minus was that our drain pipe in the shower didn’t work and also in the fridge there was old food from earlier guest whom had lived there

Hotel was clean and very convenient to attractions and restaurants. We had a car so free secure parking was a plus. Great to have a kitchen fully supplied and frig. Would recommend.

Multiple websites said checkout at noon and since we had late afternoon travel plans we planned on taking advantage of that but by 11 housekeeping opened our door and stood there until we left. Awkward! Only thing I missed was a room blow dryer. Room was clean and bed was comfy

The shower broke and nearly knocked me out when it fell on me. We arrived on a Sunday and there was no one at the reception desk. Had to make a call to get the room keys out of a safe and was put on hold for 10 minutes. Luckily another guest knew the code so I hung up and got the keys. Room number on key was needlessly confusing. Oh, and we had no information about opening the coded door to the hotel. Lucked out again when a guest opened it for us. This place is way too expensive for something sub par to a flea bag Days Inn in rural anywhere.

A good standard of accommodation with very pleasant staff on the desk and in the breakfast room.I would certainly use it again for a stay

We arrived Thursday afternoon after a long drive from Southern France. The young lady at reception was a delight. Lotte (her name) spoke very good english and we also heard her speaking spanish. She was very helpful giving us maps and handouts on places we wanted to visit over the next two days. The room itself was large, modern and very comfortable-especially the bed. We had a small kitchenette that was well equipped and a good size bathroom with bath and shower. We even managed to get Sky news and BBC news on the TV-never had that before in France!!! We were in easy walking distance of streets that were cobbled with no traffic allowed down them, and a good variety of bars/restaurants. Great atmosphere and would thoroughly recommend hotel and area.

The studio apartment had a nice little kitchen area and was clean and tidy. There was a nice sized bed and plenty of space all around. Great value.

Handy for what was needed.

Hotel was ten minutes walk from Caen Centre and within easy reach of the ferry port and routes to other towns.

While on a WWII remeberance trip I wanted an inexpensive place to stay close to all the sights. We stayed 4 nights and were able to get from the beaches of normandy to the towns of Falaise and Trun. This hotel does not have a lot of amenities but it was clean, the staff friendly, and close to the centre of town that we could walk to in 15 minutes ot drive to in 5.

Found it to be an excellent base location for visiting d day locations.

Great apartment type place. Good kitchen except lacking a toaster. Helpful reception area. Walk into town about 15 minutes.
