The hotel is a Great hotel, wonderful breakfast and great location.
The staff is great, the room was nice and big. I would definitely return.

A very nice hotel in a truly ideal spot to walk around and visit Roma. While the room itself was well appointed, it wasn't precisely the suite I expected. That being said the management set up the room for our children with two extra beds and included a number of nice extras such as water and juice in the mini refrigerator. Overall a really nice place I'd recommend.

I will definitely stay at Babuino 181 again as everything from arrival to departure was terrific and the location can't be beat for a morning walk on Piazza Poppolo.

Beautiful hotel. Spacious and comfortable rooms. With a great location.

The 2 best things about this hotel is its location and the rooftop terrace. Located between Piazza di Popolo and The Spanish steps it is close to the famous shopping streets and the monuments are close by. Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace which is also available for guest only use throughout the day. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. This is the second time we have stayed here and loved it

Helpful staff - good room with many amenities, excellent location - close to shopping and sites with walkable distances.

Excellent location. Great staff. I would urge you not to get the standard room. It's very small. Also DO NOT book their limo service. I booked a pickup at Termini train station. The driver messaged me she would pick me up at 11.30. She showed at noon. I waited in 100 degree heat. It was 60 euro. While waiting and angry, I searched Uber Black. They would have been there in 4 minutes for 24 euros. And the limo driver would not take a credit card unless I gave her another 6 euros. The hotel said it's out of their control as drivers don't work for them. I told them not to offer a service that's unreliable and consequently a rip off.
Otherwise the hotel is great.

Central position. All facilities. Staff very attentive. Breakfast superb

Best in Rome. We will only stay here when we visit! Great breakfast. BEST employees and our room was impeccable. Location was perfect. Can’t wait to go back.
4.6
What a hotel. The suite (not room!) is three times the size of your average Roman hotel room. The staff are friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet is nice and varied (with Prosecco!) and it’s in a brilliant location. I will definitely be coming back here!

Everything is to love! The bed, pillows, shower and tub were so clean and fresh. The staff are super friendly and helpful.
Location location location!!

Can’t beat the location!

First of all let me start by stating that I never write reviews, and typically stay in larger ‘well-known chain hotels’. This hotel exceeded all my expectations. Location was close to all the major attractions, easy metro proximity, clean and quiet at night. We travelled as a family (two boys 9 & 11) and stayed a week. The staff were fantastic - always there to answer questions and super friendly. I must specifically mention Nicole, Valerie, and Maria Chiara. Thank you for such a great experience!

Thank you for a memorable stay!

Great location, beautiful hotel. Our room was spacious and gorgeous. The rooftop terrace was so pretty and we had a great breakfast. Staff were all kind and welcoming.

Amazing location, great shops and safe area. The hotel was very nice and great value for money. Our room was large and very clean. I will be back!

The hotel is very well located with major landmarks (Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain etc.) within walking distance and local train stations nearby. We also managed to walk to the Colosseum and Vatican City (c. 30 mins). The street has a number of lovely shops and cafes too. Staff were welcoming and pleasant. Being in the Annex building was fine for us.
The room was quiet, dark, cool and had very comfortable beds giving us great sleep after long days of walking around Rome.
Very happy with our choice

Overall it’s a good spot that’s super convenient to good shopping areas. Rooms are cute. Furniture is old and needs to be reupholstered though.

Our entire stay, from the moment we walked in, was spectacular. The bell staff proactively helped us with luggage without us asking. We checked in a few hours early and our room was ready, hassle-free. The front desk even gave us a free upgrade to the best suite with the rooftop terrace. The room was amazing. The space was so large that we needed a mini tour. Everything was spotless and tastefully decorated. The minibar was well stocked. Breakfast was delicious and again friendly staff. This made our trip even more memorable. We stayed in a lot of nice hotels, but this was easily our best hotel experience!

A lovely bathtub in every room. We requested two twin beds, which they ignored at room assignment, but it was rectified when we checked in. Do make sure you call and check that you do have twins the day before, though
4.6
Excellent location, very good room size, small shower (also had a tub), breakfast value was low (nearby alternatives available), very clean.
4.6
Room 104 - was extremely noisy. Guest on second floor walked a lot during the night (up to 12:00-01:00) and I could hear every step. My room was door to door to house keeping outlet, also pretty noisy. Mattress is in bad shape.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Babuino 181.
This small hotel is perfectly located between Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo, in the very heart of the shopping precinct of Rome. Fontana di Trevi and Pantheon are within walking distance. our room was spacious, very well furnished and immaculately maintained. breakfast is served in the roof terrace and offers great selection of food. the whole staff is very corteous and kind. we will definitely get back there!!!!

Only place to stay in Rome and breakfast is world class! You must try the toast with cream cheese, salmon with salt, pepper, vinegar and olive oil—was recommended and simply incredible!!

The best place to stay in Rome

Parking is 5 min away and at extra cost. You have to inform before getting the hotel and they do not have enough concessions for as many guests. We ended entering the void zone without knowledge of this.
Rooms are small, European style. Location is excellent.

This place is worth every penny and it's in the best part of town for tourists. It's a small boutique hotel with great toiletries and a bathtub. We've been here a lot over the years and still love it.
