This was the perfect place for an overnight in David. Staff were warm and friendly, easy check-in, great buffet breakfast, on-site parking garage and a pool and gym. My one complaint is that the bicycle in the gym has only 1 pedal and the sauna was not turned on. But everything else was perfect. Take note that if you arrive by car, the streets arriving to the hotel are very congested.

I don't think I will ever stay anywhere else when I visit David. My expectations, in all areas, were exceeded. I can't imagine that any hotel in Davis is better.

Everyone was helpful and friendly but the person I had the most contact with was “Alondra” at the front desk. She made our stay the best with all the help she provided. Again, each person was always courteous and helpful. Alexander was the epitome of a Great host. In the restaurant. Will definitely plan another stay!

We live in Panama and have stayed many times at Hotel Ciudad de David many time. It is our favorite place to stay when we visit David. The staff is always great, rooms are very clean and comfortable.

I am actually from this town. (Chiriqui), and due to my Orbitz status I was upgraded to a “Master suite”. This place is very outdated, starting with the living room sofa (yellow from being old) and not clean. The bathroom was very poorly cleaned. I have taken videos and images from how poorly it was.. I was very disappointed, and even expressed this concerns to front desk. The shower head was clogged and I had to clean it so it could function properly. Front desk regretted this situation, however they “couldn't” do anything. I would strongly advise not to use this place other than the food that was served to la carte, which it was good. I usually stay at another hotel, however in this case was a last minute trip, and was the only hotel available. Multiple regrets.
