A lovely hotel in a superb location. A tram stop is right across the street, and the Rathaus square (and Christmas market, Vienna's largest) is an easy walk. Staff were very nice, and the breakfast buffet is sumptuous. We loved Eiles, the coffee bar/restaurant just half a block away.

The hotel stay overall was ok but there were different situations where I felt like it’s definitely not worth the money I paid for such an experience. Before the trip I wanted to call and secure a flight transfer. The lady at the reception was definitely not friendly, her tone was annoyed and It was very uncomfortable for me. When we got to the airport, no one was waiting for us. After some back and forth searching for our name on the screens drivers held up we called the hotel. The person answering was very quick to say that I didn’t book my transfer in time and there’s nobody coming. Explained that I did it in the early morning and after several back and forth calls we have gotten a taxi. It would’ve been cheaper and frustration free experience if we have booked a random taxi ourself. The check in and facilities were ok, but overall cleanness was not that great. We agreed to cleaning every 2nd day but the room was not properly clean. We could still see the breadcrumbs from the 1st day after they clean. The hotel claims to be smoke free but there were people smoking in the hotel door facing the restaurant so we were forced to go away. The staff never bothered to say anything to the persons doing that. The facilities were good, the sauna and the gym. No complaints there, gym was a bit small but I guess it’s enough for a short stay.

Location was perfect. 20 minutes walk to reach most of the old town areas, parks and restaurants. Rooms are so spacious, although I didn’t like the bathrooms being open area with the room.m, with only a curtain separating them. I also hoped that there was a Concierge desk to help us. Otherwise all front desk staff were very helpful. The only thing that I didn’t like the Taxi arranged to take us to the Airport charged us €10 more than what we told by the hotel employee.

Beautiful, comfortable hotel, within walking distance to everything! There’s a tram stop right by the hotel and a subway stop within 10 minutes. We loved it! If you opt not to have the hotel breakfast, there’s a great breakfast place just down the street (Cafe Eiles) and a bakery next door. The staff let us check in as soon as we arrived, way ahead of the check in time.

Room was very spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant within hotel was wonderful and food delicious. Very enjoyable stay in Vienna. Hotel does not have onsite parking so that was a bit of a walk to park/retrieve car, but still manageable.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, the staff is very helpful and responsive. The location of the shower in the middle of the room is somewhat questionable as even with the AC running, there was noticeable humidity.

This was the single perfect room for me, and it was a 6 min. walk from my meeting place. The breakfast is truly wonderful! The people at the front desk were very helpful on directions to places, and the location of the hotel is great - within walking distance of the Museum Quarter.

Good hotel, excellent breakfast, tram to the opera and to connect to other places right outside the door. It is super odd to have glass shower in the middle of the room regardless with whom you are staying. It’s also means noise in the room when someone takes shower in the room on the floor above. If I saw it in the picture of the room I have selected to book, I would not proceed with the hotel. Getting the glass frosted at least from 2 sides would be great

Excellent, well located hotel. Very accessible by public transport (Tram 2 passes the door). Friendly and helpful staff who are happy to assist with any requests. Nice restaurant and bar on site and convenient to many other restaurants.

Lovely hotel within easy reach of the city centre either by public transport or on foot. Tram stop about 200m away. Lovely rooms and very clean hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great selection for breakfast. Very welcoming hotel. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again should we visit Vienna again.

I arrived after a long day of traveling without eating. I asked an employee where I could get something to eat - he told me to order from the bar - I sat at the bar 15 minutes when he finally asked me what I wanted. I asked for a menu - he said they were done serving. It was 10:03. Despite being there and trying to order, I was told I’d have to leave the hotel and find my own food.

The staff were very kind - responsive to all personal requests, including information about Vienna. They never flinched when a favor was asked of them. They seem to have been trained to be courteous and polite to everyone. They all spoke english well. But the person(s) who designed the rooms got awfully carried away - to the point of being neither courteous nor polite: He or she took out on this hotel the frustration at having failed in some earlier design competition. Our unit looked like a failed jugendstil project. Not only were the surfaces excessively bright; they were ugly, too. The placement of the glass-enclosed shower looked like the loser in a contest, What's the Silliest Placement for a Shower? Further, the space inside this science-experiment module was terribly small and had nothing to hold onto. But that wasn't the worst design feature. The winner? The room's lighting. From the ridiculous system - one had to put a card in a slot by the door, which turned on at least a dozen lights; then, one went about, turning off the eleven that weren't needed - to the harshness of the painfully bright, pinpoint illumination, the effect yielded temporary blindness or gave one a headache. Could all of these harsh lights be an environmentally sound design, let alone a helpful way for guests to see what they need to do?
