I wanted to stay in central PDLC, and Bambi Appartments are smack in the centre of everything. You are not far from anything. Huge Hiperdino supermarket just around the corner.
Check in was friendly and swift, and my studio was on the 4th floor on the sunny side (Teide View). As 4th is the top floor, and the weather quite good, the studio was like an owen, there was a fan available. A parasol on the balcony would be a huge relief, when aircon is not installed.
The Studio itself was exactly as on the pictures, new and fresh, bed was comfy and the kitchenette had what one would need to cook. There is a tv with spanish channels, there was skynews for a few days before it disapeared. My studio had wifi which worked fine most of the time.
Bathroom has a shower, unfortunately the water runs out on the floor which will not make it last for long. Shampoo is provided.
The premises are kept clean, and rooms are cleaned everyday. For my 2 weeks duration my linnen was changed only one time (after 3 days), with the scorching heat it started to smell bad.
I found staff to be friendly and helpful. Would stay again, requesting a room on the not so sunny side .

Nice hotel with kind personnel. Good breakfast.

Absolutely love this place

Nice clean accommodation with kitchenette. Looks recently renovated. Balcony. Close to Playa Martinez & restaurants. Excellent staff. A special shout out to Aldira who was always there to help solve any problem! The only reason for not giving 5 stars: no wifi in the room, just in lobby area.

The property was clean, tidy and local to all shops, pubs and lovely place to eat to whatever you fancy
4.2
There was no radio or English TV chanels, the fridge door was lose and sometimes didn’t close fully.

The studio apartment (there was only one available} was very basic (no hairdryer) but very clean and adequate and for what I/we paid for the 2 weeks stay was very good. It has a small swimming (heated) pool and a rooftop Solarium. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Bambi's is in an ideal position in the centre of Puerto de la Cruz. We would stay there again but in a larger apartment.

Everyting was old ,the kictcen ,balcony doors were kept closed by piece of wood,,to stop sliding.shower so small cloud not shut door, toilet kept moving every time i sat on it ,staff very goood ,polite and helpfull

The Location is perfect,
We found the apartment basic and looking as if a bit of extra love was required.
Reception staff were absolutely exceptional ( friendly and helpful ).
The lack of air conditioning or even a fan was somewhat disappointing especially as 14 nights at around 20c is hard to sleep in.

The hotel was very clean and the room ve4ry comfortable. The staff are exceptional. we locked our key inside the room and the receptionist told us not to worry, Because the key was in the door it made it very difficult so one of the staff climbed through our bedroom door to open the door and give us our key. We kept apologising and they kept saying that we should not worry,

I travel a lot and understand and accept that "you get what you pay for" but still:
1. it is the 80's. if you miss them - this is the place for you
2. the hotel description states limited parking. it is. they have 6 places and they have a lot of rooms. there is an option to park in underground garage close by but it will cost you so just park in the city ( suggest near the Loro Parque)
3. when we asked for another towel, the answer was basically that it is against policy. only after a talk with Expedia and threatening to cancel our reservation, they actually gave us one. the only reason we didn't actually cancel it because that meant waiting for the manager in the morning and thus canceling our plans for that day.
4. no air con
5. there is another hotel (with the same address!!!! and a higher rating) that looks much better
4.2
the studio at the first floor was really little, but they upgrade us to another similar on the 4th floor, with a big terrace and that one was ok for us, but we decides to go out eating all days.

This place was extremely disappointing. Myself and my partner stayed here and it was extremely basic. If you are young and on a budget then go for it! Otherwise, it wasn't clean, sheets never changed and reminded me of something out of the 70s. Bathroom/shower was very poor and be careful if you book a "double" because once you get there, then only have two double rooms in the whole place and the rest are twin rooms. The staff were friendly enough. Wifi was extremely poor. You have to pay for it and it is only accessible if you sit downstairs instead of in your room. If you are on a really tight budget then go for it - as it is reasonable to stay here, however, you get what you are paying for - a really poor hotel :(

Staff were very unhelpful we nearly missed our transfer back as they didnt know where our pickup points was. We couldnt get into our room as the lock was playing up. We asked where is good to go for food and they didnt no anywhere. The whole experience of this holiday was by far the worst holiday Ive ever had and this experience has made me think about using experia again

Nice hotel, close to everything. Stufd really, really nice. Really clean.

Paid £29 for 1 night in a standard studio room. The room was pretty worn and dated, but a decent size and quite clean. Useful to have a kitchenette. Location good for restaurants in the evening, and a 10-minute walk to the bus station.

Apartment type hotel - good size studio room with kitchen annex (stove top, fridge, utensils) and balcony with half day sun.
Sun terrace with stunning view for Pico del Teide (if you know what I mean).
beach or harbour pools just 2 min walk down the road.
For daily survival supermarket is round the corner from the hotel.
For food, drink and entertainment - Old Town 5-10 min walk. Bus stop to the airports not far either, steep uphill thou.
On down side - no A/C in the room but absolutely not necessary for October mild weather.
Overall good budget bolt hole - will consider staying in the future :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no complaints. We always stay at this hotel when we are in Puerto de la Cruz

Well located in the centre of town and relatively quite, except for Friday and Saturday evenings. No parking nearby. The room we were allocated had a balcony with the view of the wall of another building close by and there was flaking paint on the ceiling of the bathroom. However the room was kept clean and tidy and it was possible to prepare limited meals using the two electric rings provided.
4.2
All the staff were amazing I felt at home straight away. The rooms were spotless and cleaned well daily.

Good location but a basic hotel. very friendly staff and clean. Great if your on a budget and dont expect any major frills. The location is good, close to the beach and shopping but on a quiet back street so not too noisy at night outside.
4.2
We were actually upgraded to the Astoria Apartments, which are just behind the Bambi and share the same reception. The room was very comfortable, the staff very extremely helpful and friendly and the location was very handy for the town centre.
Parking in the area is difficult, but you can pay to park at the hotel or there is free parking on the seafront, a 10 min walk away.
Our room on the 3rd floor was a bit noisy in the mornings as earlier risers moved their sun loungers around on the 4th floor sun deck above.
4.2
This hotel is in a very noisy area, alot of traffic noise, inconsiderate loud neighbours and with no fan or air conditioning you have to leave the doors open to the balcony as it is too hot otherwise. Our balcony looked out at other peoples balconies so there is no privacy for them or us. The only way you could get a sea view is if you were at the top of the building, possibly. I would not recommend this hotel for a peaceful rest or for a decent nights sleep, although it is convenient for shops, bars and its about a ten minute walk to the sea.
