Air conditioning was not working properly and the room got hot at night which made sleeping a bit difficult. Housekeeping missed servicing our room one day. Overall it was good but could have been better. We chose this property due to the proximity to the George R Brown Convention Center.

The only issue was that the valet service was understaffed and overwhelmed. It’s not the employees fault. They can only do what they can do, but I was unable to make it to where I needed to go before it closed due to the wait time.

Reserved 3 rooms with two queen beds on the same floor, but was only provided 2 rooms on the same floor. And 1 room only had 1 bed. Front desk staff was not friendly. Took an hour to get an extra blanket for the pullout bed.

It's very dated. Long past It's prime. I was lucky enough to get a room on the 18th floor facing La Branch st. and had a very nice view. If your room faces the other direction you face the back walls of a very tall new building (see google maps street view). Only 3 elevators so there can be a short wait for one. Good to keep in mind if you're waiting for an uber. The breakfast was mediocre at best.

Great place to stay for a reasonable price in downtown Houston. Close to stadiums, music venues, and restaurants. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the pillows were not comfy at all.

The hotel was nice. I would definitely stay there again. My only complaint would be we were never able to get our room refreshed by the housekeeping staff. We would go out early and return around 1 or 2pm and the room still wouldn't be clean.

Check in was ok. I had to ask questions. Lady at the front desk did not let us know. Valet seemed sort of turned away anytime we went near them, seemed like they didnt want to work or help us. Pool is centered between building so it was extremely warm with little to no shade. Pool was bath water warm. Breakfast was consistent with ES breakfast. Line would move faster if we served ourselves. Servers were slow. Room was very nice. Bed comfortable. Area is sketch if you walk in the wrong direction. Perfect location for concert that we attended at Minute Maid. We walked there easily.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, the restaurant next door had great food, and the happy hour snacks and drinks were very satisfying and the breakfast buffet was awesome. The only negative was trying to get valet parking. I sat behind a long line of cars trying to do the same thing, but I gave up and parked myself in the attached garage. Then I had to carry our bags through the garage and around the block to get to the hotel. Not happy.

Awesome staff. They greeted us each time we arrived or left. Free adult beverages between 5-7. Yess please! Walking distance to the minute maid stadium and a bunch of restaurants. Only thing is they need a fee more valet drivers but ones who were on shift were very nice and quick as can be. Breakfast is A1!!!

Staff is friendly. I had to change my room from 14th floor due anxiety. I had no issues with accommodation to 3rd floor. Tha ks for helping us in our stay. Breafast is good and the restaurant next door is great. Would definitely stay here again.

My stay was awesome. The hotel was very clean and the location was great. The breakfast was amazing with many options as well as omelets and eggs cooked to order. The only complaint I had was the parking. The overnight valet parking was 55.00 every night plus tax which brought the price to 60.00 a night for parking. Just an fyi. Check parking options before your stay.

Mrs Cindy at the front was the best. She made me feel like I was at home. My only complaint house keeping cleaned my room and thru a few items away that I didn’t want thrown away.

Burned French toast, burned black not burned toasted. Swimming pool super dirty, all 4 days. The area around the pool, same trash was there all 4 days. Omg today, topped it though. Took us an hour to check out. Elevator almost gave out. Ended up taking the stairs going up and down to the 17th floor.

The hotel is less than a 5 min walk to the Toyota Center. The property and hotel rooms are very clean. Nice suites, with comfy beds. Breakfast was excellent, although there was an influx of guest due to a concert the dining area was stayed clean and food replenished. Two free drinks offered plus they have cheap drinks during happy hour with free snacks, There's one very nice grocery store near by, but this hotel is far from most restaurants and bars. It's downtown so many things close early. The pool and hot tub were great!

Booking with Embassy was very convenient for us as we were attending an event at the Toyota Center. You can literally walk there in your high heels and you’ll be okay. The night life was very convenient for us as there was much to do around that area. The room was very clean. It was more on the expensive side but it was best for us. They only have valet parking or you can park in the near by lots at your expense per night. If you don’t like the noisy atmosphere this place is not for you. We will for sure be booking here again.
