Please do not come here. The only reason why this property has a good review is that they they buy their reviews from their locals this place is a dump and it is trash and false advertisement. This hotel looks like is a rundown hotel paint is chipped locals living in the apartments looks so rundown, unsafe, moldy, smelly, and not well-maintained. Staff is terrible, hardly spoke English and give attitude once you question them about the property and paperwork. This property is a scam property. Please be warn not to go. I had to end up booking another hotel because this was false advertisement and it was just trashy. They are not answering my calls because I called for my refund. I spoke to the manager and she said I am able to get it refund through Expedia and Expedia was trying to contact them and they kept not answering and I called and they hanged up on me.

But I like about this property is that anything that I asked they were able to answer my questions. Even though there is a difference in language, everybody was so helpful and whatever my needs were. There was an attached Pharmacy that is open 24 hours so that you can grab a snack or water or anything else you need. Your food is at both restaurants. Onto the beach. Security is awesome. There is always someone there whether or not they belong there. I like to see if people are on the guest list to make sure that they’re getting the free breakfast or if there’s too many people coming in, they don’t allow it.

I enjoyed my stay, the staff was great, especially Eduardo, he was so nice and helpful. The waters at the main restaurant were also great, Jahn and Luis. The things I would suggest are that the bathrooms get updated. Toilets were very uncomfortable, the set up is not ideal. They are also doing construction, they woke me up at 8am one day, spoke to administrators, and they apologized. Overall the stay was good!

My best friend and I stayed here about a week and a half ago. Leading up to the stay, we saw that the hotel offered a shuttle transportation from the airport via their website. I reached out to the hotel via email about three or four weeks before our stay to arrange the shuttle. They replied once to ask for our flight information. I replied and did not hear anything back. I was sort of looking for a confirmation that the shuttle was confirmed. I sent a few follow-ups, and my best friend even tried to reach out as well, and we did not hear back until the day before our flight. Following check-in, our room did not have any towels at all, so we had to request towels. We also requested wash cloths/small towels, but were given hand towels, so I would say that you would need to bring your own washcloth if you decide to stay at this property. Staff were kind, especially the servers and kitchen staff. We got mixed communication about microwaves. On one hand, we were told to ask kitchen staff to use the microwave, But the kitchen staff told us that we could not use the microwave. The property was also doing construction at the time we were there so one of the pools was closed during regular hours. Luckily, we were leaving this day so didn’t have a need to use the pool. The room was decent. The beds were very comfortable! Overall it was a decent stay.

I knew by the pictures the property would look nice but to see it in person was even better. The hotel offers 3 pools, 2 restaurants where in can dine, and 2 big bars. From the breakfast to the dinner options everything was amazing. I paid for a birthday package for my wife before our arrival. The room was amazingly decorated, a cake and bottle of champagne through out the day was delivered. The following day of her birthday they separated a table for breakfast and added nice balloons around it! They really made her feel special and that was the #1 goal. I would definitely come back and recommend anyone to stay here.

It’s a great property and great staff ,l must say, but there is two problems I would like to discuss and advise, the bar is outside and we all know Cartagena is a very warm climate (why not a big fan or portable AC) and the gym just one treadmill and step master (waiting in line to use equipment)…..

I didn't get pickup from the airport, like I should, I had to catch a taxi,and also I didn't like about the hotel that there's too many flies while you eating, you have to to keep your eyes on your plate, because there all over,the food is excellent and the service,I have one more thing to add,all those things that they have in your room, there charge it to you,so if you don't know it can happen to you too,when I first arrived to the hotel I thought it was complentary but it wasn't, I had to pay them $176.000 pesos which is very expensive, just for some water,soda,crackers and nd chocolate,it wasn't even beer or orange juices, be careful with all those thing that they in the room, you get tlall those thing for a lot less.

This hotel is dirty and dusty in everyway. Rooms are breaking down into pieces. Cockroaches inside the room, elevators dirty, pool dirty, balcony absolutely unacceptable. Bed linens full of dust, air conditioning old, dripping water and full of lint.

I liked that there was breakfast included. The back pool was also pretty nice overlooking the beach. I didn’t like that the staff knew very little to no English (difficult for tourists). I also felt that the hotel needed a paint job and few other modern upkeeps. It was cool seeing the South American beauty pageant contestants. While I was checking in, they were also checking in and there were people playing cultural music and dancing.

This is by far THE WORST hotel I’ve ever been to. The housekeeper stole money from my room and management did nothing about it. They didn’t refund the money either because “she said she didn’t take it” although she took a picture of the funds in the room. It’s ridiculous. They were also rude about it. A long and drawn out process for nothing. I don’t recommend going here unless you want horrible service. Their breakfast was limited and bad as well. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

I absolutely love the look but I didn’t like how the housekeeper “cleaned” the room and when I went back to my room it wasn’t cleaned the sheets still had sand and the pillow cases were still the same and she forget to give me brand new towels the only reason why I didn’t complain was because it was literally our last couple of days but they definitely need to inspect after the housekeepers because I use to be a housekeeper and in New York when people complain especially about the bed not being when said to be and any stain that’s automatic termination and free room literally so please for future reference the next guest might not be as nice as me ;)

The hotel needs an update. Rooms are old and rusty. The shower does not have enough pressure and it is impossible to adjust temperature. The hotel allow people to use their speakers very loud in the swimming pools making the environment noisy and no classy. Service people are nice and breakfast had a very good variety. Beach is ok.

The hotel lobby is nice hot but nice. We were greeted with a nice tasting juice while we waited to check in. The elevator did show rust, paint chipping and it was hot the first day we rode on it. Our room was spacious with a wrap around balcony. Although this feature is very nice the view was to an open grassy full of trash view. The bathroom shower glass door had very visible water stains. On the positive side, the staff were very nice and attentive. I had to ask for towels in 2 separate occasions and they were brought up at once. The buffet style breakfast was delicious.
