Not what we expected from the reviews. Has potential, but is ill kept. Dirty floors, battered woodwork, dead plants on patio, etc. seen better days. Staff is great though. Owner just needs to invest.

Great staff, location but the bed was horrible.

staff were excellent and very knowledgble, and the food was very tasty.

Three star hotel maybe. It was more 'style' over 'substance'. The Queen Suite is quite a tight room (appreciating that the bathroom and terrace are a good size).
The large sliding window in the bathroom did not lock and could be opened from outside.
Felt that corners were being cut - bath towels not that large, individual packs of tissues, fridge shelves broken, very poor access to sockets; old (small) tv.
Front desk were excellent. Staff at breakfast - average. They did not keep an eye on what needed restocking; and one person was not enough to make drinks and cook eggs. After 5 nights, the breakfast became very repetitive and limited. Only a set number of croissants put out - and often ran out quickly.

We stayed with our toddler daughter and had a great stay. The staff was super nice, they did not have a high chair on site and were nice enough to get one for us. The breakfast was great, bed very comfortable and room very quiet. Great location with lots of restaurants, parks, restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Couldn't fault the staff. Coffee with breakfast was superb.
Location suited us. Close but not noisy.

Not a boutique hotel. Horrible furniture, lobby area, and decorations, cluttered. Building has a niece architecture features. The room did not feel clean: the window stool and curtains full of dust, the filty area rug oldy, the edges of the glass shower area filty with mold, that area was never deep cleaned; location not in a save area. Couldnt cancel the reservation. Big dissapointment.

Good safe location. Nice and helpful staff. Rooms were well maintained and clean

The staff were excellent. The bathroom was a great size and the room was decent. The floors were incredibly creaky. The last two nights there were issues with no electricity/heat and no hot water. The breakfast offerings were not very substantial. While the neighborhood is a little sketchy, it is very walkable to points of interest. I cannot stress how friendly the staff were during our stay, which made up for some of the shortcomings.

Great service with friendly staff. Central location in the old part of the city with some good restaurants and cafes in nearby streets. My only criticism was the floors were really creaky and the room was cool even with the split aircon turned to heat. The breakfast room was also cool and dark in the mornings.

Hot water did take awhile to get warm.

Lovely boutique hotel with friendly staff. Great concept hotel with some cool aspects and decor. Our suite room was spacious, but the bed was very uncomfortable to our liking (too soft and lumpy) and the linens and bathroom were not exceptionally clean. The breakfast was good! The location was nice, easy to walk to restaurants and attractions.

The staff here are terrific and very tolerant of our lack of Spanish knowledge. Alejandra was a pleasure to wake up to each day of our stay.
For being in the middle of everything the hotel was very quiet and a welcome oasis at the end of a bustling day. The pool was crisp, cool and refreshing.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Bueras. The room was a bit small with a bedside table on only one side of the bed. We particularly enjoyed the courtyard with pool near the breakfast area as a quiet place to relax. Being in the Lastarria area was good for restaurants.

This was our 3rd visit to Santiago (2018, January 2024 and in February following a trip to Antarctica). This was our favourite hotel from a location perspective, very close to Lastarria. The hotel itself was an oasis in Santiago and we enjoyed sitting by the small pool/garden. Rooms were very conformable and we would happily stay here again if we returned to Santiago.
Some feedback to the hotel, firstly thanks for a wonderful stay. We would have expected tea/coffee facilities in the room or complimentary tea/coffee in the bar area. The honesty bar was a little confusing, we ended up having to purchase a bottle of red wine when we only wanted a glass. Electrical sockets near the bedside would be useful...

A wonderful small hotel, perfectly located near Via Lastarria. Great staff, nice rooms, nice breakfast.

Service staff very extra accommodating , however junior suit was below expectations and similar to a hostel . Breakfast was continental , pool cold and dirty with overhanging trees that needed repair. Picture on line were taken on a good day

The hotel is an oasis in downtown Santiago, close to many attractions in a very walkable area of town.
We were warned not to carry our phones out in view. Street crime is an issue for tourists

Great place and I am pretty picky about area, comfort and safety. Hotel staff was awesome. Provided maps for travel around Santiago. CC accepted everywhere, but you will need cash to pick up incidentals.

Wonderful property with beautiful oasis area with pool. Close to Santiago attractions. Staff were excellent. Very helpful and accommodating. Room was very nice.
Pool was too cold to swim in. Floors a bit squeaky.

Staff were excellent, as was location. Room fully satisfactory. Unfortunately, the breakfast cook/server didn’t show up for work, and the hotel didn’t have back up so no breakfast. Most likely a one-off issue, but recommend the hotel have backup plans.

First off, customer service was the best. Ricardo, Juan Pablo and the rest of the staff were amazing and very accomodating. Everyone was nice and helpful. The hotel is clean and breakfast was great too. Location was perfect as it was walking distance to a bunch of restaurants, subway, and some sights like san cristobal hill. Will definitely come back here if we are ever in Santiago Chile.

Well located.
Room was on ground floor near reception so noise throughout the night. Maybe the people on reception could just talk a bit quieter?
Sheets and towels were changed but floor remained filthy.

Beautiful property, very helpful hosts, awesome location. Wish the pool was heated so it could be used year round.
