We had a spectacular time. The hotel is at the top of the town with easy access to the Prionia trail as well as the rest of the city. Staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Always want to stay here. Always recommend it.

This was the most wonderful lodge that I have ever stayed in. The owner, Sikas, was friendly and helpful- it was the perfect balance between helpful and private. The breakfast is not to be missed. Delicious. The room was comfortable and clean and as charming as can be. I fell in love with the town and Mt. Olympus. This is a must if you are staying in Litochoro. 5/5 stars!

Great post stay service from Stella - after I left a personal item in my room she made sure it was returned to me.
Good breakfast with very good home made bread and biscuits.
We'll stay here again if back visiting Mount Olympus

This hotel was so beautiful. Situated on the mountain. It was so well decorated with a classic, tasteful vintage stone and wood decor. A quaint, quiet and lovely place to stay. I truly recommend it.

At the top of the hill! Easy walk into town and back (assuming you can do a non-stop incline or decline) and a very pleasant stroll onto the slopes of Olympus to begin your ascent. Very quick drive to the Aegean as well, very pleasant and I couldnt have been happier!

This place far exceeded expectations. The rooms were very nice and the service was excellent. The location was "workl beating".

A very attractive building in a traditional style. Log fires in the lounge and dining room created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The bedroom was spacious and the bed itself excellent.

We stayed for two days in To Palio. Both of us had a room on the main floor, which had a terrace in front and had a great view over Mount Olympus. The rooms were excellent, nicely furnished and also offered everything that I expect, including an airco. The hotel is located in Litochoros (also known as Litohoro, Litchoro, etc. Not very consistent naming). This is a place nearby Mount Olympus, and is close to Prionia, where you can park your car when you hike into the mountains. Speaking about parking, there is plenty of park space in the street in front of the hotel.
The hotel offers a very nice breakfast. When you go downstairs, you are greeted by nice classical music, and a wide array of choices that I found very appealing. The host will also provide some Greek yoghurt, and on one of our two days we were served some egg.
In the evening, it's lovely to sit at the terrace in front of your room and enjoy the view of Mount Olympus. You can order beverages and snacks as well, which were brought to our rooms. At night, there is almost no sound to be heard, except for the crickets.
We had a great stay, and I can recommend this hotel to everyone.

Beautiful hotel in great location, although a little hard to find! This was our last stop on a 2 week tour around Greece and it was only one of two places we stayed at which didn’t have tea and coffee making facilities in the room...bit of a disappointment for us. But on the whole would recommend it.

great, old-fashioned, beautifully kept hotel at the foot of Mt. Olympus. Staff wonderful. breakfast fantastic. The whole town of Litohoro lies at about a 45 degree angle, so plenty of walking up and downhill. Charming town, people and hotel. dogs wander streets and goats wander up Mt. Olympus.

We got stuck with road closures and the staff waited up for us past their normal closing hours. They were also very patient with us when we locked ourselves out of our room. The breakfast was great. The staff/owners were great. I highly recommend. One piece of advice. Google maps (2018) gives terrible directions through the town. Look at the map before driving up. You can stay on the main road into town almost the entire way up.

Litochoro is a great base for exploring/hiking Mt. Olympus, and To Palio is the best bed and breakfast in this adorable little village. The host, Sarkis, now has directional signs posted from the town centre all the way up the hill to the location of To Palio- as you can get a bit turned around. You can walk right from the hotel to a few of the hikes that are actually entering Mt. Olympus National Park. It is also only 10 minutes to several beaches on the Aegean Sea, and only a half hour or so to Dion (ancient ruins), and about an hour to Vergina (royal tombs of Phillip II). Easy on and off of the E-75 highway. Many restaurants, from white tablecloth to fast take out gyros. A beautiful Greek Orthodox church in the center of town. Not much shopping, but that's not what you'd come here for, anyway.

First, the owner, Sakis, was waiting for us when we arrived despite it being about 8:00pm. There was a fire in lobby fireplace, and we sat on the soft leather couch while he checked us in and explained a little about the hotel and town. He helped us with our bags up to our beautiful room, and provided a great recommendation for dinner. We were staying here for only one night with the purpose of climbing Mt. Olympus the next day. It just so happened that Sakis was a guide at one time so he took out his map and provided us with some very very helpful information about climbing the mountain. Because we wanted to get an early start he offered to make breakfast for us at 7 instead of the usual 8am start time. Breakfast was amazing!! A simple breakfast but with very fresh ingredients including eggs from Sakis chickens, and marmalades made by his wife. Couldnt have asked for anything better. The only downside to this hotel is that we couldnt stay longer. Perfect in every way. I would have paid double what we did.

Beautiful hotel, delicious breakfast, friendly and knowledgeable staff! The GPS is troublesome in getting there, better to get the small map from the Hotel. They have easy directions, so ask ahead. I will be back!

We stayed here during our honeymoon and really enjoyed it. Zakis, the owner was really friendly and was very helpful during our stay. The place is beautiful and very welcoming. Its also a great location if you want to hike up Mount Olympus. Breakfast was also very delicious. We would highly recommend this place.

We stayed here after a hike on Mt. Olympus. It was quite wonderful to rest our tired limbs in the comfort of this guest house. Sakis, our host is very efficient and warm, and looked after all our needs, including arranging for our seats on the KTEL bus to Athens from Litochoro. We enjoyed the stay very much.

Sakis stayed up very late to let us check in due to our flight coming in late, and he was really great throughout. This is a lovely place to stay - really beautiful and very high quality throughout - it really felt like a much more expensive place. So many nice touches, like the breakfasts, which included fresh eggs from Sakis's chickens, and spanakopita made by his grandmother! We were really blown away by the quality all round, especially for the price we paid. Very, very, highly recommended.

This place ranks among the top B&B's we've stayed at — ever. And we travel worldwide all year long.
This is a family run B&B consisting of 8 rooms. The appearance is "old" or traditional style. But the fact is the structure is quite new. The structural presentation is impeccable inside and out. The owners have thought of everything in terms of detail. Breakfast features home made goodies — all fresh from Litochoro. Owner Sakis is a terrific and helpful host.
Finding this place can be a bit tricky. Litochoro offers narrow one way streets that can be a bit confusing to navigate. Follow the directions of other guest reviewers here to find it.

This Bed and Breakfast is one of the best I've ever stayed at. The host/owner was wonderful - kind greetings, strong English, homemade breakfast every morning. The room was spacious and clean, though the bed was extremely firm and there was only a sheet (no additional blankets). The location is at the top of the town, so there is an uphill walk to get there, but we found the hike worth it.

The hotel has a very nice design. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly and they serve an excellent breakfast. The hotel is located in a quite part of the town and the peace is all around you. However there are lots of opportunities for various activities: from mountain hiking to resting on nearby popular and very beautiful beaches.
