Had a wonderful stay at Golfview. The staff were friendly and accomedating. The room was nice modern and clean.The food was so good. You get the real authenthic Jamaican dishes full of flavour. Food was much better than the resort I stayed at before in Ocho rios. We had a few minor issues which were resolved quickly. My only compaint was one missing blinds in the bathroom window. I had to hang towels in order to get privacy. I asked for one but was told I wasnt going to get it that night and that was the end of it. Our bathroom faced another hotel with a lot of windows so i didnt feel like I had much privacy with the blinds being missing. Other than that I would definitely recommend Golfview

I’m sure I’ll get her wrong but on the day of check in she was a sweetheart with a bright smile and an big personality my partner and I really could not stop talking about how down to earth she was but professional at the same time. Asheka. She was really nice. I was not sure of the location when I got there as I grew up in Mandeville the same area but when the gates opened up and I realised how secured it was I felt good. My first impression of the property was ok nice and the room also nice.

Under renovation and will be amazing once completed. Stayed in one of the renovated rooms which was very comfortable and modern. Breakfasts were delicious. Good service.

Maybe not totally their fault but the water going out in the morning was a tough one because the shower pressure was not there and the toilet could not flush! Sorry.

It is a 3 star hotel so our expectations were not high. However, the costing was very high for the food and the room. Very little amenties in the room, as there was no hot water, the bed/pillows were extremely uncomfortable, there was an iron board without any iron, internet connection was poor and the cable options were limited. What was most embarrassing was when I was called at work to say that my husband had not checked out, only to find out that he had indeed checked out before the stipulated time. That for me was the final straw!! We will never return!! Will never return!!

The Golf view is in a good location but the rooms are small. We had an iron board but no iron. There was no fridge unless you paid 5 dollars a night. No tea/coffee facilities. The breakfast was boring with the same food everyday. The pool was not maintained. I think for a 3 star hotel and price the hotel would be better if they improve on providing more amenities in the room as well as being more creative with the breakfast.

They had a function which was loud and inconvenient. We had to park our vehicles outside of the property and go back and lark i side. The lounge was lovely but the service was poor, we placed our order and 20mins after we still havent gotten what we ordered. Room wasnt bad, housekeeping was great.

Property lacking essential resources for the guests - iron board with no iron, telephone in the room disconnected, turn on the facet in the bathroom water sprays all over. TV without cable box. Breakfast was not desirable. I could go on but I will stop here. Not that place again.

The longlasting refurbishing seems to lack coordination and quality-control. A lot of minor issues regarding bad workmanship. One bartender/waiter on the lounge has no clue about service. Breakfast ist good.

I always stay at the golf view hotel but on this occasion I was disappointed I never write a review but on this occasion I will The 2 old members of staff are excellent as always one works on front desk and the other on reseverations The new front desk staff the young ladies they need training on how to deal with customers and people the attuide and approach needs looking into The stupidity of it and suprise is that I was charged for towels having make up on them which is something that can come off in the wash so my charge was the equivalent to £12,00 I was told the hotel has changed ownership and that was their new policy to charge for towels that are stained with make up ect ridiculous these towels are white, during the rest of my stay me and my daughter was watching every stain on the towels and If there was any washing them out ridiculous The room needs to have a mirror long one to at The bathroom one is not sufficient There are loads of improvements need in the hotel and I think it’s gone down now especially with the new owners who has taken over it’s meant to be an improvement not as far as it’s concerned

It was clean. Staff was friendly.i was disappointed that there was no fridge in the room. I travelled with medication that needed to be refrigerated. We did not have any hot water at times and the water pressure was very low. We did not have any television or phone. I was told that it should have been communicated to me when I did the booking

I stayed at Golf View Hotel from the 02/21 - 02-26 of this year 2024 I really had a wonderful time during my stay there The Staff were friendly and very helpful. I Felt Safe, The breakfast was delicious.Sunday night live entertainment was something to talk about. I will definitely stay there again.

Service was great, all the staff was friendly & very helpful, especially Mike, Nataliya, & Shane. Beds are small you may need to upgrade, Tvs didnt work the whole week even after the tech said it was fixed. Took a looong time to clean the room every day 3+ hours so be prepared to stay out the room for awhile or just to grab stuff. Altitude restaurant food was good & drinks STRONG so beware. Breakfast was only good 2/7 days. Walking distance from town everything you need within 2-15m walk

A wonderful experience. All staff members are extremely courteous, helpful and kind. After meeting one of the owners, I understand why! Me PC, one of the owners, took time out to talk with me. A very down to earth guy! Although there are renovations going on, I am very pleased I made the choice to stay at the Golf View Hotel!

I like the location of the property..The Dinner is fine..Breakfast was too limited..in terms of limited choices of Teas, creamers etc... What I didn't like was the fact that my room had no cable box..for my entire sray..Despite me been notified upon arrival..I was given the impression that I would have had some kinda TV service..Only to find out the TV'S WERE NOT SMART TVs..hence I was unable to watch the television... The sales manager didn't seem to care despite me complaining of not having a cable box or smart TV in my room.. Very disappointed with GOLF VIEW

The property was very clean. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The complementary breakfast was excellent. The only issue was the TV not working, Apparently there was a problem with the cable company. I would stay there again.
