This is a lovely cottages for the $. Plenty of room w/ back patio. I nice seating area instead of just having a bed to sit on and a small dining table for 2. Even has a separate room with two beds if you have kids. Owner is very friendly and helpful

The property is very charming upon arrival and the owner is super! The issue is with age, maintenance and cleanliness. Definitely needs improvement in these areas. The bed in our cabin was very old/uncomfortable. Terrible sheets. AC unit was so loud that you couldn’t sleep. Beautiful old oaks and deer on property. Nice walking trail. Great environment, peaceful

Such a Great place, definitely look forward to staying here again! You gotta go in and talk to the owner, she’s so nice and openly shared the history/story of the property and house. She gave the greasiest food recommendations for the area. Everywhere she recommended was just Amazing.

Property was charming and welcoming and owner was very accommodating and friendly. She made Check In really easy and made us feel like old friends. Our room
Had everything we needed.
Mattress was a little soft but that’s totally a personal preference thing!!

We enjoyed our stay at The Crossroads and would stay again. Room was very clean. Kristin very welcoming and helpful. Good wi-fi reception and centrally located for our trip to Fredericksburg, Hye & Blanco!!

Quaint and cozy bed and breakfast vibes with a southern charm. Friendly service and a cute pup made for a welcoming experience. The downside was that the A/C unit in our cottage was struggling to really cool the room down and that unfortunately made for an uncomfortable night’s sleep, especially in the early morning as the heat really started to get going.

The stay was great. Very quiet area. From a female point of view, I felt the bath room should have not had a commode without a lid to set on.;;If no lid on the commode then at least put a stool in the bathroom area if you needed to set down; like maybe putting your shoes on when dressing.

Great ambiance and charming place to stay.
Room was large, comfortable and spacious.
Staff was super friendly and helpful. The large outdoor balcony was a great place to enjoy Texas wine country.

We love staying here, Kristen is the most wonderful hostess and we often are coming in at strange times and she makes the arrangements so that we can come into our room easily. The Furnishings are wonderful, and the whole feeling around the place is that of country. We love it!

The property is beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable and decorated very nicely. The best of all is the owner Kristin. I’d return just to spend time with her.

My husband and I had a great stay at Crossroads Inn. We stayed in Carriage House #1, which was the perfect size and private. The grounds were quiet and excellent for a nighttime stroll. The host Kristin was super friendly and replied to messages promptly before and during our stay. We highly recommend Crossroads Inn for a Hill Country getaway.

We experienced a pleasant getaway for the weekend. Most intrigued upon arrival A few hours early than was expected. The owner was most accommodating. She took the time for a tour of the main house and all the animals not to mention the foliage surrounding a beautiful place. Room was immaculate and had all the amenities.

This was our first time in Johnson City and Kristin was very accommodating and gave some awesome recommendations for eating (Pecan Street Brewery, Bryan’s on 290, and El Charro). She was very friendly and the property was very well kept. We were greeted with some chickens and a very friendly dog. The room was immaculate and the porches were top notch. Great place to stay!

This property was convenient, quiet, scenic, and perfect for our stay. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were super comfortable. The only minus is that the toiletries were not very good quality. Other than that, we had a quick, delightful stay.

The most magical stay ever. This is a place of pure love and fairys. Bith magical and mystical.

Amazing property. The second floor porch was a wonderful place to hang out.

This location was perfect for the Johnson City area - just off Hwy 290. Having stayed in a number of local B&B's and hotels, we found the bed very comfortable. The small coffee pot left something to desire - almost 25 minutes to brew a pot! This is an easy fix. Most of the local B&B's no longer offer breakfast (blame it on Covid) but have a small basket of breakfast bars - this place did not. The toiletries were sparse. The tv also was problematic, though it may be due to the rural location.

This was a great find. It is a bed and breakfast, minus the breakfast. We were in one of the cottages outside the main house. I think the property was recently purchased and reopened, so I don’t know if breakfast will be added at some point. There were some nearby restaurants, so it wasn’t an issue. The property was a bit out of town, so it was super quiet. After check in the owner was available by phone or text, but we didn’t see her again. Around the back of the house there was a field with goats. The only issue we had was that when staying multiple nights in a place, we don’t like to have housekeeping come in. We put the do not disturb sign out, but they came in anyway.

It was great, host was awesome, gave us great tips on things to do and restaurants to visit. Very friendly. I even forgot my phone charger and she saved for me as to stop on my way back home from the rest of my weekend trip.

What a thoroughly charming retreat! Our room was extremely spacious and gracious with an enormous bathroom and easy access to the balcony. Everything was so clean and thoughtfully appointed; an ideal Hill Country getaway!
