Average hotel in a good location. The room was very basic, small bathroom with a glass sliding door with no lock, the beds were quite comfortable and there was plenty of towels, breakfast was good, and a quite good selection to choose from. But it was noisy, our room was next to a nightclub and the music boomed until two in the morning, not good when we had to get up at seven the next morning, I brought some earplugs for the next night and they helped drown out the noise. Apparently you can get earplugs at reception so it's obviously an ongoing thing! Would we stay here again and it's a big NO from us.

Hotel was ok, convenient location and average stay. Issues with hot water not working and loud humming noises inside of the room which could only be solved by removing the key.

Staff who greeted us were brilliant, they put us in a high floor right next to the lift as I walk with a crutch. I did as K for a low floor but the girl said it was very noisy on the low floors as work was going on outside so they gave us a quiet floor and right next to the lift. Very clean and tidy bedroom

The bed was very uncomfortable as the mattress was very hard round the edges In the morning there was no hot water to have a shower. Reception said you have to run it for a while, I did that for at least 3 min and it was not heating up

Mark & Michael started days on positive note with greeting & bright smiles. Always showing interest in activities of the day & helpful in planning. Enjoyed breakfast varieties, nice presentation. Compact but comfortable room.

Great hotel. Centrally located, very close to the station. Good double glazing so you can't hear the railway. AC so pleasant in warm weather. Bed was comfortable. The rooms were clean.

There was an contemporary design focus but not so much on practical functionally. The shower was difficult to use and spread water in undesirable areas. It would have been nice if it had a small fridge to keep drinks and take out food cool.

This was a last minute booking and the stay was not good or value for money in any form. A constantly creaking bed, hard lumpy pillows, inadequate air con unit and absolutely no pressure for a hot shower shower. I will not stay here again.

Great location - less than 5 minutes walk to/from Newcastle train station, also plenty of restaurants and shops nearby whilst not on a noisy road. My standard room was compact. Modern. No frills. Wet room was small - best to take a shower at night so the floor is not wet when getting ready the next morning. However... availability of hot water seemed to be time limited; steaming hot in the morning, barely luke warm after midnight. Room temperature control worked well; noisy but to be expected and bearable. Really good that the room electrics require the room card to be slotted into a panel by the door, so all switches off when the room is vacant. No wardrobe - 5 hangers on a short wall-mounted rail instead. Just a kettle (need to fill from wet room sink or buy bottled water) with a few packs of coffee, tea, sugars and UHT milk. Narrow wall-mounted glass 'desk' and one (foot)stool rather than a full desk with chair. Bed very comfortable. TV works. Enough sockets throughout the room. Good lighting. Overall, the room was fine if sleep is the main required function. Would have preferred a bigger wet room, and some surfaces needed a better clean to remove sticky build up and smudges.

A standard room and the decor is lovely, the layout uses every in if the room and even though the rooms are small they are modern and comfortable.
