The rooms were very comfortable and clean considering its a dog friendly hotel. The shower gel in the shower was empty though so had to get out to get some from the bath dispenser.
The restaurant service was not fast, be prepared to be patient! The food was fine, not great.
The pool is gorgeous but cold, and no shower gel/shampoo etc provided in the showers at the pool but you do get toqels for the pool reom reception.
There's a lovely walk down to the beach and you can continue from the accross the prom.
This hotel is great for dogs. They are allowed everywhere except the pool area as long as they are kept on leads. There is a small enclosure you can let them off to have a run in which our dog loved and lots of grounds for walking.

We had a nice stay. The hotel is a little dated but clean and bed comfortable.
The bedroom was very warm despite opening windows.
All the staff were very friendly.

A very nice Hotel in a very good location, friendly staff, lovely breakfast, clean and set in lovely grounds with nice views. Easy access from the Hotel through the lovely garden straight down to the Sea Front.
Overall, a lovely few days at this Hotel, will definitely stay again. 😊

Really enjoyed our stay, the breakfasts were amazing.
Only downside was the collection of moths in the bathroom due to a window too high to close. Also there were more guests cars than parking spaces.

The room was on the ground floor 2 doors away from the pool room and someone was playing til 1:30am which kept us awake. The room smelt like wet dog and just felt unclean.
The location is perfect and the grounds are beautiful. We were very disappointed as I expect there are some lovely rooms unfortunately we didn’t get one.

We booked our trip for my Birthday. The hotel and staff were very friendly and loved the dogs. The hotel and grounds are charming. The plumbing was very poor we did not have any hot water in the bathroom sink and the shower was very poor. Breakfast was not so good and they did not keep up with it and kept running out of everything. After our evening meal we went to go into the lounge and a group of women were sat on the sofa's with a takeaway.

Gardens stunning beaytiful walk down to beach tgrough gardens. Beautiful pool 25metre very clean comfortable temperature. I went here to relax destress swim snd walk did all. Quiet at night.

The room was really warm, the bathroom still had some toothfloss on the floor from previous guests, the shower was dripping very much and was Not very clean at the handles. The shower tray for shower gel and shampoo was metal and started to rust, no high enough hanging space for towels. In the bathroom fan was a lot of dust and spider web. As well quite dusty all over the bathroom in general.
The over all room was spacious. The headboard from the bed fell down, right after sitting on the bed, behind was the previous colour of the wall, the lights above the bed were painted inside a bit as well...
The food was not nice at all, when mentioned to the staff, they looked at us as If we spoke a different language. No apologies. The expensive beer (£5.20 for an IPA) was brought to us in cans with some dirty Pepsi glasses.
The breakfast was a sad story and although we arrived 30min before finish, it should have been refilled.
The walls are paper thin and we were able to hear the people below talking/TV/snoring.
Over all, although only 3 Stars, it should at least have been Clean and friendly staff.

Absolutely beautiful holiday. Our club room was lovely. The staff were very polite and friendly. The breakfast was perfect a large choice of everything and the waitresses were very helpful and busy. We use the indoor swimming pool which was nice and clean. We had one evening meal which was perfect.The hotel gardens is very well looked after with the garden staff busy cutting the grass and planting and maintaining it all. Will definitely go back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Staff very friendly. If you have mobility problem the walk into town can be a struggle because of the hill.we didnt realise the no 2 bus went from outside the hotel until the last day .

The good. This is a fabulous place, dog friendly, clean, good breakfast and great staff. Wonderful grounds and close to the beach and town.
The bad. We were in a family room 203. The shower was so slow and we had to let it run for a while to warm up. The bed is really, really lumpy and uncomfortable, mattress needs changing badly. So no sleep possible.
Such a shame and so disappointing. We’d stay again but not in that bed.!!!

The hotel was in beautiful grounds but close to the seafront. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was large with a balcony and sea view. It was great having the pool, which I had to myself on occasion. Would definitely stay there again.

Well situated hotel set in beautiful grounds. 5 minute walk to the beach. Room unfortunately faced the road and made the room noisy, the beds were uncomfortable and I suspect the mattresses need replacing.
Lovely refurbished pool and the staff were helpful.

Our experience overall unsatisfactory the room was not as described lack of ventilation due to inability to open window lack of space no room for bedside cabinet Bed uncomfortable due to raised bed springs when weight applied causing painful sleep,shower fitted into the eves leading to water flow missing the body quite frankly the list is endless booked for 6 nights relocated to another hotel after 3 nights
