Perfect! If you are looking for an authentic property in Interlarken I would highly recommend this property!

Nothing to fault…loved our room/bathroom and the building. Clean, comfortable and our own balcony looking at the mountains at the back of the property watching the paragliders! Only negative is that you do have to carry your luggage up the stairs so as long as you are fit this shouldn’t be a problem. Gorgeous 300 +year old property with a genuine family vibe. Breakfast was also beautiful. Nicole was so lovely (I hope I remembered her name right) one of the owners.

Nothing all was great and would definitely go there again!

Très bon séjour au chalet du bonheur

Tout.d’abord la propriétaire des lieux très gentils très accueillant et serviable .et le chalet très typique de la suisse 🇨🇭.les petits déjeuners exceptionnels.des chambres très agréable .nous sommes déjà venus deux fois et nous reviendrons.merci pour tout changer surtout pas🥰🥰🥰

Excellent location for visiting Berner Oberland region.

This hotel was superb for our family of three, with a nice spacious room, easy parking, and great food (breakfast and dinner). They also have a small playground which was great for end of day/dinner entertainment. The staff were very friendly.

Beautiful views in historic chalet

Beautiful and Historic. AMAZING views of the Alps. Food and staff are great, friendly and helpful.

The location is a little far away from all of the shops and restaurants. Also a good distance away from the train stations.

Vistes habitació, esmorzar i bon restaurant.

Matalàs incòmode i coixins encara més!!! Difícil accés si vas amb maletes grans (no hi ha ascensor). Poca insonorització, si dorms a l’habitació de l’escala, prepara’t per la desfilada de gent pujant i baixant i el crec-crec del sostre (tot fusta).

Dream property - what a pity it was only 1 night.

The view of the Alps from the window was simply awesome. Excellent breakfast and very warm staff. 24 hrs tea/coffee service in the restaurant - a huge bonus.

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Only point to highlight is that guests should be very careful with the address of the hotel and be specific about the location since there is another similar sounding property thats about 15 minutes from this one.

Swiss home away from home

The location is close to the train station and stores but far enough away to enjoy the mountains and the quiet feel of the local life. The host for the hotel was informative and the food was great breakfast and the restaurant on site.

The weather was warm no ac but it clearly states this but open the window and turn on the fan.

Very good

Beautiful old Swiss wooden cabin. Easy to access interlaken. By bus or by walk. Be prepared for very low roofs. If you’re taller than 5,6” it can be a little claustrophobic.

Good restaurant, but the hotel is not so good

The breakfast was good, the room was clean and the food from their restaurant was good.

I didn't like that our room was too small, both the room area (length and width) and the height (it's not normal to hurt my hands in the ceiling while changing my t-shirt, if the room costs 190 CHF / night). I noticed that other rooms are bigger (only the room area, because the height is almost the same), so maybe it was a bad luck. Also, it seems that in the hot summer days they need an air conditioning system because it felt very hot in our room.

Clean and nice but sooo hot

We stayed in July and the daytime temp was about 25 c. Room was very hot every night despite using a fan and having all the windows open(we woke up every night of our three night stay sweating). We think that the mini bar was kicking out a lot of heat but couldn’t figure out how to switch it off. Pillows were terrible! As thick as a piece of duvet I don’t think the hotel ceiling heights would be Suitable for anyone over 5 ft 10. I am 5 ft 7 and was very close to the ceiling and door frames and hit the light fitting!

Very poor

Arrived at the hotel late at night. Thanks to the staff for leaving the keys under the mat at the front door. But all the good things ended there. I was surprised to find earplugs next to the bed. At that moment I thought - why? The answer came at 5 o'clock in the morning. As it turned out, the hotel is located almost on the roadway and therefore the noise from the transport passing through it was perfectly audible. Neither earplugs nor a closed window helped. I didn't get any more sleep. I lay with a headache until 8 a.m. and started calling booking.com. But the booking team did not respond to my complaints in any way. Then I called the reception with a request to change the room to a quieter one. But they told me that the hotel is fully booked, and it is impossible to change the room, and they also said that the noise is heard in all rooms. After that, I paid for this nightmarish night in this hotel and went to look for another one. I came to Interlaken for the holidays to relax, not to treat my headache. In my opinion, there should not be such hotels in Booking and the Booking team should be attentive to the complaints of their customers

Lovely place to stay

The hotel was sweet and cozy. Loved the small buffet breakfast. 15min walk to Interlaken train station, bus stop only a few metres away from front of hotel. 10 min walk to main strip of Interlaken. Laundromat a few metres down the street. Place was spotless clean.

Only suggestion would be for more comfortable pillows.

The room had a tiny fridge which was useful and a view towards the mountains, when discernible

The hotel offered very poor value for money in my opinion but that may be a reflection of Interlaken prices. It was by far the worst value of anywhere we've ever stayed in Switzerland. The room was small, minimally furnished and somewhat malodorous. Above all, it had no kettle, etc. for tea and coffee, though there was the use of a kettle and free teabags, etc. in the breakfast room. It had not listed a kettle but I had foolishly assumed all hotels provide them nowadays. The lesson is: pay careful attention to the small print and, probably also, do not expect a lot for your money in Interlaken.

Comfortable stay in Interlaken.

Beautiful and well conserved building with very nice view from the window. The room is nice with modernized bathroom. the bed is comfortable. Also good breakfast. Location is conveniently accessible from Interlaken west within walking distance and nearby several bus stops. Staffs are very nice and helpful.

There is no lift but it is OK for me.

The location is great, there’s a bus stop near the hotel going to Interlaken West. The area is quite nice. All in all, the stay was good.

Great hotel in a great location in Interlaken

`Decent sized room that was clean and the hotel had a traditional feel to it. The breakfast is fine and it is not too far from both Interlaken train stations. The staff were very helpful, so overall a very pleasant stay.

The bathroom is new！ The breakfast is good!

The location is a little bit far from interlaken ost station. Because there is a restaurant downstairs, there is a cooking smell at the corridor of hotel. Narrow stairs for different moving luggage. no elevator.
