Great staff and convenient location. Only WiFi too bad

The hotel area is quiet, not too busy.
My room's AC unit was dripping too much!! We had to place a trash can abd a towel under to cut the noise abd keep water from going all over the room.

The property is very old and a 3 star or less. No restaurant or bar. Not on the beach

Upon checkin the staff was extremely helpful. They left the front desk several times to show me the parking garage escort me to my room and then once again coming to my room to show me how to set up the Internet. Everything was just wonderful very friendly staff would stay there again.

Hotel is in a great location if you want to be centrally located. Easy walking everywhere. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was extremely clean and looked just like the online photos. Bed was very firm and pillow were like rocks, which is my only real complaint. Linens were nice quality and in great condition.

This is a great spot in central Barra, very quiet hotel with comfortable beds. Inside and outside rooms.
Helpful staff.
Go to the rooftop for the best sunset spot in town.

Hotel stay was good but was disappointed that their restaurant was not open during week-long stay, nor was there a swim up bar in pool as indicated on the Expedia website.

Elevator makes some very scary sounds! Also elevator does not go down to the parkade. The fan in our bathroom mak ises a ridiculous amount of noise.

Noisy late evening at the pool. Staff should monitor and shut down the pool at the posted time to be quiet

Everything was fine except parking was far from the hotel and we had to walk in the rain

the pool and the view of the sea

a very large group of people appropriated the pool, excessive alcoholic beverages, loud music, late at night... Saturday, August 5... most of the people did not have the hotel bracelet on and were in an advanced state of drunkenness.. i think the hotel does not enforce the rules..it is a family hotel not a night club

Please , if for any reason you end up here take a note, during check in ask the front desk the amount of towels you suppose to get in your room and as soon you get there be sure its the amount they told you and let them know if you are missing any( I wish i knew this before ) you will be charged for any missing towels even if THEY forgot to leave it there it was only 100 pesos for a hand towel that i never see, but still embarrassing telling you in front of another costumers and make you feel like the worst towel thieve. Also I was charged another 150 pesos for using a towel to dry my hair(no, i dont dye my hair in there it was 2 weeks ago) yes it got a little light brown stain but nothing that couldn't be washed easily. They were charging me with this but in any moment I was offered a receipt untill i ask for it , For me feels like they have this little towel business besides their job , so i ask to take the stained towel wich i washed in home with nothing special and now its as white as new Im adding the pictures of the towel and the receipt .Again, wasn't much what they charge but the way they make you feel .In my experience they're not nice and everybody looks annoyed that you are there .They ask for 600 pesos deposit to borrow 4 pool towels wich i dont mind. Tv sound doesnt work in my room and air conditioner control wasnt working so i was told to step on top of the bed to do it manually wich again i dont mind but i dont think it would be easy for an older person

The best view from the pool and from my room

The hotel has two different buildings so I had to cross the street to go to the pool. I didn’t like that. There was no restaurant or bar at the hotel so we had to leave the hotel to eat and drink. The rooms are outdated and the views were lacking….no ocean or pool view which sucks when your on vacation. Elevator only holds 3 people max so a lot of walking up and down the stairs.
The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Their air conditioning in the rooms worked great, and was much appreciated. Shops and restaurant are within walking distance.

Loved being right at the beach and nice pool and different outside areas to sit, eat and enjoy the breathtaking view

The part in front of the beach was amazing to stay in. Swimming in the pool overlooking the bay was wonderful. Shows that the property is cared for although the construction noise on the new part a little annoying the one day - it will soon be over.

Only complaint and was totally no biggie the pillows were very hard.
Would definitely return.

Rooms are way too small for the price. Noisy. A/Cs do not work ... way too loud and need servicing. Door does not lock, only the latch worked. And receptionist gent had no clue to finding 2 paid bookings, done through Expedia. First and last time at this property.

Also the older fellow who helped us to our room with the air conditioner remote and tv remote!

Right on the beach. In the middle of everything; stores, restaurants. Short walk to malecon. Great views from rooftop. Nice to have small fridge in room. Staff was excellent.
Pillows were awful. Hard foam. Bed was not too comfortable.

The hotel is great value for the cost. The first night I had a room facing the street and found it noisy as there was a festival at the church. The staff accommodated me and moved me to a very quiet room even though the hotel was full.
As a woman travelling alone, it was safe and the staff were helpful with everything I needed.

Excellent location for walking around Barra, no street parking nearby and insufficient spaces in the hotel’s parking facility. Rooms are pleasant, but beds are extremely firm - as in an 8” mattress on a concrete base type firm. Also, bring a power strip.

place was very nice and clean staff very friendly and professional
