Beautiful property with very good breakfasts. Spa not as good as advertised. They wouldn’t honor a massage package advertised on their website. Also, I only got 40 minute for a paid for 50 minutes. Better deals in other hotels nearby, but not much to do around this location anyway. Would not stay at this chain again.

Seems like a brand new facility. Rooms with modern lighting and climate and with balconies, even in the bathrooms. Great, huge, breakfast included with fantastic pastries, egg station, etc. Extremely friendly front desk staff. Was only there a night and will return.

The Grand Hotel Da Vinci is a wonderful hotel in the historic seaside town of Cesenatico. The rooms are well appointed, spotlessly clean with very efficient air conditioning (essential during the summer months) and the beds are huge and very comfortable. The staff are all very friendly, efficient and helpful. There is a wonderful outdoor pool, which is huge, with plenty of chairs/beds around. Also, there is an indoor pool with gym access and a spa, for beauty treatments massage etc. We stayed on a bed & breakfast basis, and the breakfast buffet is something to behold - it is enormous and I’m sure there would be something there to suit everyone’s taste! I would definitely recommend the hotel, although if staying in a room at the front of the hotel, it can get a bit noisy during the evening, so if you’re a light sleeper or an early to bed person, request a rear facing room.

I booked a week in this hotel, but could not stay there. My daughter in England had to go into hospital for surgery before we even arrived at the hotel. I had taken out cancellation insurance through Expedia but was told that because we had already flown out to Italy, we were not actually cancelling the trip, just curtailing it, so our insurance was deemed not valid. Then the hotel refused to refund any of our fee. So, no holiday, a daughter in hospital for 2 nights and then recuperation at home, insurance that was useless and a hotel with no consideration for customers. Two thousand pounds lost. Never again.

Excellent hotel - but expensive!

Nice hotel and swimming pool area. We had our 5-years-old son with us, and he had a wonderful time. Lovely breakfast. Things that the hotel should improve: The toilets nearby the pool had very low standard. The lunch one can order in the bar had a simple look and taste. Noise from a disco nearby Friday to Sunday kept us awake at night. Very expensive hotel sunbeds on the beach, which we did not use.

luxuriously appointed and complemented by excellent service and friendly staff, this hotel ranks with some of the best. Rooms are beautifully appointed, comfortable and quiet. Highly recommended.

Very modern hotel with great facilities however not much character

The hotel was far above what I expected. The hotel staff was excellent, the hotel room was very clean, and the food was delicious. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and God willing, I will return one day!

Delightful stay and the breakfast was absolutely superb,tried to book for next May but fully booked.

What an amazing hotel! Set in a stunning old building, the inside is very modern and ultra clean. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Perfect, huge, comfortable bed, ample wardrobe space and double doors onto a small balcony which overlooked the beach. The bathroom was well appointed with a separate shower cubicle and spa bath. Staff are friendly and very helpful. We didn't eat in the hotel on an evening, but did thoroughly enjoy a very varied breakfast buffet. Everything from a wide variety of fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juices; cereals; toasts and breads and continental cooked meats and European hot selection. Even an egg station, where you could choose how you would like your egg cooked. Outside, the pool is huge and again, spotlessly clean. Complete with a spa pool and a waterfall, it is set in lush green gardens. We enjoyed perfect weather, but if it should turn, there is a wonderful indoor pool, complete with massage and spa and a well equipped gym. The town itself has many excellent food and drink venues. The beach is less than a five minute walk away, as is the main shopping street and the vibrant canal area, which by day, sees colourful fishing boats sail out, replaced at night by up market restaurants and bars and, two nights a week, a delightful craft market. If you would like to explore a little further afield, bicycles are available from the hotel.

Great. Would recommend to everyone. One of the best hotel pools weve ever had. Very clean rooms and a fantastic breakfast.

The hotel is in a good location, close the main town and the beach. The facilities are all very good; the indoor and outdoor pools are both excellent. Breakfast is superb, every thing you could want is on offer, all beautifully cooked and presented. The staff are all friendly and helpful although English is not widely spoken, neither in the hotel or the resort in general. Unfortunately, our room was not in the best position, it was on the corner, at the front, opposite a noisy bar, however, there are electronic shutters on the windows, which do help to block out the noise. There is an on site Spa, offering a wide variety of treatments and a small gym. All in all, a fabulous place, in a lovely, traditionally Italian seaside town!

As a journalist, I travel the world. This is the first time I met a staff respectful and benevolent but bridled with lacking of humor, humanity, sincerity. The rooms are tiny. Poorly decorated. Staff gives you coffee pods for a Kureg but room doesn't have a machine. Only 1 premiere room in the whole place has a coffee machine. Safety handle in the shower is falling out of the wall. We received 2 key cards and left one in the power slot when we went out. Housekeeper took the extra key. Housekeeping never replaced the complimentary water for the 2nd night.

Just back from a 2 week stay. Never felt so clean in my life. Bed changed every day, towels twice a day. Breakfasts were superb - good choice of fresh fruit, cheeses, cold meats and eggs cooked to order. Only down side was the exorbitant charge for use of beach sunloungers. Don't expect this when you are already paying fair price for hotel.

The hotel is absolutely the best in Cesenatico with excellent service, friendly staff and delicious breakfast with plenty of fresh fruits. The rooms are tidy and clean. The hotel is excellent for someone how likes swimming and bathing with private beach, outdoor pool and indoor spa facilities. All in all, the hotel facilities are really nice but the surroundings outside the hotel do not reach the same standard. Some of the restaurants nearby are really good though.

The hotel is a little bit overpriced, but offered a great experience. The rooms and facilities (e.g. pools) were very clean.

Good breakfast variety. Nice pool and facilities. Provided valet parking for the residents and good access to the beach with a fee of 30 euros per day

The restaurant offers some magnificent dishes that are both delicious and presentable. The staff were very friendly and professional. I have a few suggestions: 1) Add a free weight rack at the gym or have a more comprehensive weight machine. 2) Fix the leaking ceiling at the gym during rain. 3) Add Tea/Coffee machine in the room. 4) Broken faucet in the shower in my room.
