This is a tranquil location yet in the center of wonderful mid-level Pozzuoli. Parking is a very important plus to this part of Italy and our vehicle has always been secure. You can walk to restaurants, shops, a Roman colosseum, the port area, and public transportation. Staff are great, as well.

Maybe not brand new but still comfortable place with excellent service level.

This hotel is in a decent area, it is close to restaurants and shops as well as the train. However, it could use a bit of updating. The bed was the hardest most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on, I’m not sure my back will ever be the same again. However, the cleaning staff was wonderful and did a thorough job each and every day.

I had a terrible experience at this property they made my wife cry hysterically.
They first "Bait and Switched" me on the room by not providing the room that was on the picture which had a terrace.
And then they upgraded me with a room that had broken Air Conditioning in 95 degree weather and then they decided to do repair and replacement of the unit while we were sleeping in the room.
I wish I could upload the pictures to show everyone how they treat customers.
It's not Miramare it's Nightmare!!!

Having a kitchenette comes in handy good location walking distance to stores and center of town.

Amazing customer service, great space in room with full kitchen. 5 minutes walk to amphitheatre, restaurants, and grocery. They even set us up with a car hire. Only issue is I'd say they could upgrade the bed, it was quite uncomfortable.

Central location and lots of parking. We had a basic room which came at a low price. Nice outdoor area on the grounds. Gated grounds provide good security.

Not your usual hotel but a great place to stay quite and nice views

There was a s problem in my room at Hotel Miramare so did not even check in. Transferred to their sister hotel the Villa Avellino which is a beautiful hotel situated in an historic building. No extra charge and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The suite was clean but this hotel has soviet block charm. As others have mentioned the furniture looks like it was stolen from a college dorm and the raw florescent lighting casts a depressing shadows. The good news is that you'll look forward to checking out and you'll appreciate every other hotel you've booked on your holiday. Consider this one a write-off use the free wifi to book your train ticket out. If you've packed light you can walk to the train station and put this place in your rear-view.

Hospitality great. Next to room with barking dog all night

The hotel furnishings were extremely tired and in need of an update. I was pleased to note that the room had a safe in it. However, some brilliant individual did not bolt the safe to the structure. It sat loose in the cupboard. The setting of the hotel is incredible. That said, I got the impression that it had been damaged at some point in the past from an earth quake, as there appeared to be many cracks on the exterior of the building. Daily, the driveway and other areas were swept clean of debris. The gardens on the property were not kept up and looked shabby.
As we walked into the lobby we were awestruck at the marble hallways and stairs. This once was an beautiful facility which is in need of an update. Oh, I forgot, that will cost millions of dollars.

Lots of construction, worn apartments but for the price, the space and view it is fair. Laundry but no dryers. Housekeeping was phenomenal day in and day out. Good for long business stay with close access to shops, restaurants and bars.

My stay in Residence Miramare was trouble-free and enjoyable. The apartments are very old, which is something that puts you off initially, but they are well maintained and very very clean. The security offered by the facility is also very good and that makes all the difference in this part of the world. The sea-view in the morning is majestic, you get good WiFi access all around the property and the staff at the reception have been very helpful. I will stay there again for my next trip.

The room for the first night was not what I was expecting comparing to 5 years ago where the room was excellent with a spectacular view. This year I felt I was staying in a shack. However, with a smile, the manager was able to find me a better room for the second night at no extra cost.

I quite enjoyed my stay at Miramare, I felt it was appropriately priced and very well located and it suited my needs well.

Receptionist was very helpful over the phone in trying to help us find the Residencia. If driving along Via Solfatara from Naples direction take a sharp left opposite the sign for Volcano Solfatara and drive down Via Vecchia de San Gennaro. Don't try the next turning Via Vigna as you can't get there that way because of one way streets. Residencia is great. Doesn't seem like a hotel. Our apartment had a gas hob and a fridge freezer so very handy for cooking quick meals or making tea or coffee. Plenty of safe parking in a gated complex at no extra cost. Surrounding side street area a bit shabby but down in the central Piazza near the ferry area it's very lively and there are lots of bars cafeterias and restaurants. Also lots of street food available. Nice waterfront to the east. The whole area is full of history. An amphitheatre is located about 5 mins walk from hotel. The 3rd largest in Italy. Better condition than the Coliseum in Rome and you can walk through the lower area. Very interesting. About 20 mins walk uphill is the crater of Volcano Solfatara. Amazing!. You can walk within the crater and see the fumeroles and the bubbling mud and smell the sulphurous fumes. What an experience!. Halfway up the hill from the amphitheatre is the train station and for only €2.50 single you can go into Naples (30 mins)and visit the excellent museum which contains numerous exhibits from Pompeii and Herculaneum. We drove to Pompeii and Herculaneum and also to Vesuvius. Excellent holiday

Overall I had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Although I thought the accommodations were sufficient I did have some issues. One was that the bed was sunken down in one spot and it made me fall into it when I slept. Also I stayed for 10days and my shampoo/ soap was never replaced until a asked the cleaning lady for more. Lastly when I initially booked this room the booking stated that It included cold breakfast and I was informed at the hotel that it was not included.

The room was very comfortable, good bathroom, nice little kitchen. 2 tvs. Good ac. View from the terrace terrific, the room not so much. Just go up one set of stairs and see the Gulf area. So quiet and a safe location. Grocery store very close. Good luck with driving around, whewwwww. A lovely Italian sea side town.

We had a lovely one bedroom apartment with a superb view of the sea. The gardens and patio area are beautiful. A bit difficult to locate at first, but it is gate secured with parking available. We walked to the waterfront area every day and took the ferry from there to the Island of Ischia. Friendly stores and restaurants are located within easy walking distance in a safe neighborhood.

Decent place, needs some updates but personnel was extremely friendly.

This hotel was a short walk from the Metro train (3 or 4 blocks) and was very clean and modern with nice view of Bay of Naples. The main downside was no breakfast, but there was a nice coffee shop/bakery just down the street. Staff was very attentive. Very good value.
