Cute little town hotel with access right from the street. You call the hotel to be let in. Friendly staff. Great breakfast in the morning. Close to everything you like to see in town.

Charming old historical hotel.
Nothing to complain about.

The Hotel has 5 star quality in an 18th century building. Full of character in the rooms and the outdoor patio & gardens. Everything you could wish for for breakfast. Perfect location in the old town 5 minutes walk from the famous Dragon Tree and restaurants as well the bus station.

This really is a b&b. Not a hotel. Pleasant and friendly staff only at the property in the morning to set up breakfast and clean. The property gets no direct sun and is therefore cold if not damp. Reserved parking for 3 cars is imediately outside the property on a VERY steep narrow road.
The decor is antique Spanish with very heavy Christian art work. Overall a very dark property. Shower room desperately needed updating. There was no roof terrace.
Our visit coincided with the Icod Fiesta. Be warned. Everything including restaurants closes at 4pm.
The property is possibly ok for a couple of nights if the weather is warm but not recommened for a longer stay.

Place was dead on arrival. Had to phone to get someone to check us in and give us keys. Fortunately, weather good so didn't get wet waiting outside.
Anna, who served breakfast, cleaned & made up rooms, was lovely and very helpful. WiFi was variable and not very fast, so used data, which had a good signal. Shower was ok but old and first day flooded. Only one of local restaurants was of a decent standard, and several were closed most of our stay.

Beautiful old house with patio and small garden. Delicious breakfast with lots of choice: fresh fruit and orange juice, guacamole, salsa, different breads, cold meats, cheeses, eggs cooked to order.
We reported that the TV didn't work properly and hopefully this will be sorted out. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Very charming building. Super nice staff.

Spacious room, sunny patio, unique surroundings. The hotel is within easy walking distance from Icod’s Old Town and its major sites. The breakfast with freshly prepared eggs was particularly nice.

The building is beautiful, it was like staying in a museum. Breakfast was good and I was well looked-after as a vegetarian. Sadly, I was not housed in the room I had already booked & paid for - I was placed in an inferior room (no garden view or balcony) but without being offered any compensation. I would therefore NOT recommend this hotel.

Nice little boutique hotel, I would stay there again, very personal.

The hotel is one of a kind and whilst small, has everything anyone could want.
We decided to steer away from the tourist areas of Tenerife and Icod is a traditional local place and the hotel experience is also traditional and local.
The staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble for them.
The only downside is the locals are very noisy at the weekend, the local square is an outdoor celebration area which is very welcoming and the local people love to celebrate but the celebrations go on until 4 am and I recommend taking ear plugs. The area is noisy most nights but not as bad as the weekend. Probably the best way to cope with the noise is to join in the celebration

nice period hotel, good location.

Pleasant hotel with a lot of character. Our room was quite dark as the shuttered window opened out directly on to the street, so we didnt want to leave it open. Good breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. No staff on site overnight, though an emergency contact no was given.

It was great to experience this tradition of artwork and habits from previous times. The hotel is very small (only six rooms) and personal. All furnishings seem original, but some paintings are from later times.
Breakfast was varied and very good, fresh orange juice, fried eggs at the request of guests, tea, coffee etc. etc. At the reception desk, Marie, a Belgian girl, welcomed us and was exceptionally good at informing us as well as speaking very good English and indeed some other languages.

This is an hotel of great character and charm. Our bedroom, No 4, was very nice, with a lovely verandah looking out to the hill across. The hotel staff are also really excellent, in particular, Marie, was really helpful. The hotel location means you really need a car with sat nav to get there and there is no hotel reception - arrival is by phoned arrangement with Marie, who lives 20 minutes drive away. Unfortunately for us, the hotel is located on a 1 in 4 hill - so for us it was rather hard - for the vigorous less so.

The hotel is situated near the historic main plaza in Icod. The house is an eighteenth century property which was done up by the current owners and then subsequently turned into a hotel. The timber-framed building has bundles of character.
The staff are very friendly. The breakfast is fresh and plentiful.

Wonderful restored Canarian house of dark wood, exquisitely furnished. Room #8 was at rear of house and had a small balcony with chairs /table looking onto valley and partial sea view. There is also a pretty courtyard, garden and guest sitting room with many delightful paintings
This is a small, rural hotel and we were very glad we had a chance to stay there for two nights.

Our stay was for four nights after touring the islands for four weeks. This is a beautifully and thoughtfully restored historic home. Marie welcomed us graciously and introduced us to the building's charms. She also prepared a terrific breakfast with a pleasing selection of items and delicious eggs. It was central, comfortable and very quiet. The local restaurants were both very good and easily walkable. There were two options for parking available but we fortunately found parking in front for three nights of our stay. This was also a convenient location from which to explore the island from by car. We noticed that Marie spoke several languages with ease. She was helpful in advising us on travel plans. This property was our favorite accomodation on our trip to the Canary Islands and a wonderful conclusion to our holiday.

Really nice old style house, wonderfully maintained. Rooms are big and the house has charm. Service and attention were good and breakfast is really nice. We got a ticket to go in and out of the public car park which is 2 mins away. The famous drago tree is also within walking distance and so is the historical part of Icod.

A beautiful hotel in the hills of Icod. But note that it is 10 minutes by car or a tricky walk to the seaside at San Marcos.

Our stay here was the highlight of our road tour around Tenerife and La Gomera. The building has been beautifully and stylishly refurbished, with lots of interesting antiques. Very friendly and helpful staff, who weren't at all fazed that we arrived very late at night. The area is very quiet, with lots of greenery, even though it is in the centre of town and only a few minutes walk to local restaurants and the famous tree. Good quality breakfast, with excellent quality meats, cheese and bread. This very new hotel deserves to do very well.
