Nice little hotel and a good choice for visiting Ruta del Care / walking nearby. Las Arenas is far enough for peace and quiet and near enough for convenience. Set menu for evening meal with a choice of three main courses and priced well but there are also restaurants nearby if you don't like the choices. Room was a bit basic but bathroom was really nice and everything was clean, Excellent breakfast was included so good value for money. Easy access rooms available with no steps and car parking was plentiful and right outside the room.
Bar area could have some more comfortable chairs but that is a very minor point. Restaurants in town not open until 8.30pm as is usual - not much available any earlier

The 3 course dinner was very delicious. I can see they’re using high quality ingredients. Great value!
Shower dial is a bit confusing. The pathway from main road is quite small for cars.

We have stayed at the Hotel Torrecerrado on two previous occasions and didn’t hesitate to book again.
We are a group of middle aged motorcyclists from the North West UK and for this trip we decided to spend 3 nights at the hotel.
Pilar and Jim are excellent hoteliers and the staff they employ are top notch. Friendly, understanding and will go out of there way to help and assist if they can.
One of our group suffered a slight technical mishap which caused him to be late arriving at the hotel and we asked Jim if it was possible for us all to dine together beyond the normal restaurant closing time, he happily obliged and prepared a fantastic meal for the six of us which is a level of service that goes above and beyond what you would get from a large and flashy hotel chain.
The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable (twin bedded rooms) and the en-suite facilities tick all the boxes having powerful showers with plenty of hot water.
The well stocked bar looks out onto the lovely, well tended garden, which has fantastic views towards the snow capped mountains and its a delight to have a cold beer or two sitting here after a long day on a motorcycle.
The breakfast choice is excellent and is typically continental with a selection of cold meats, cheese, bread, cakes and cereals and the option of scrambled/fried eggs and bacon which are freshly cooked to order.
The hotel is located on a hillside and its about a ten minute downhill walk into the small town/village of Arenas de Cabrales which has a good selection of bars and restaurants serving tapas and other local dishes.
The area caters for walkers and we met some lovely people who raved about how good the trails were and they were using the services of local guides or were on a package based tour organised by UK based specialist tour providers.
The hotel is a fabulous base for motorcyclists who want to ride some of the very best roads that northern Spain has to offer in the Picos de Europa.
Nothing, it was excellent.

Amazing location, staff and breakfast. It's a beautiful place where workers go the extra mile to make you comfortable. I was traveling with a dog that was most welcome! Should have more stars for sure. Totally recommend this place!
There was nothing that bothered me in this place.

Nice clean modern rooms and location nice just out of the village but only a 5 minute walk for food and drinks

Restaurant meal was truly exceptional; I would stay here again only for the food. Breakfast was also very good. Wonderful views of the mountains.

We liked everything!! The wonderful location & views to match, friendly welcome by Jim, the English owner & his Spanish wife, Pilar. Our room was spotlessly clean & comfortable, the bathroom had a fantastic shower & even better, was the food. Our one night stay included an evening meal & breakfast & after 2 weeks cycling in Spain this was by far our best meal. We would highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

Accommodating staff, long breakfast hours and convenient location for hiking in the Picos.
No hairdryer in the bathroom, quite badly soundproofed and the TV just randomly turned itself on at midnight...

The location of the hotel was great. The town was within short walking distance. Jim was excellent. He exceeding our exceptions during our stay. He helped us a navigate our hiking trail for the mountains and accommodated to all our needs. We will be revisiting this hotel in the future for sure.
The wifi signal wasn’t strong however, we solved this problem by having a drink down on the patio overlooking the mountains.

It is a really nice place near the Picos de Europa. The owner is a really nice man, who helped us to print some documents we needed to sign. And it was possible to have earlier breakfast. They will help you with anything.
