No hot water for shower. Asked how stay was on exit which felt scripted as when raised issue just a sorry and gave feeling they wouldnt do anything at all.

Very small room

The Hoxton is a fabulous hip inner-London stay with a great restaurant and bar. The rooms are definitely small, but so comfortable. The bed was by far the nicest we stayed in over our 3 week Europe holiday. Restaurant has delicious food and would highly recommend. Do not get suckered into the Disloyalty scheme. It’s advertised as a monthly subscription, but then requires a 12-month commitment which no one tells you about.

This is my favorite place to stay in London. It’s easy to get to and there are so many great different areas surrounding it. So you can get to everything. The staff is phenomenal and even though the rooms are a little small, they’re still quite comfortable. The only thing is the bed is a little soft but that’s barely a criticism.
4.5
Nice lobby area, prime location, quiet area, good service. However, rooms were very small even paying extra for more space. The bed was too firm, sheets were scratchy, did not have a very good night sleep. Overall, stay was average.
4.5
Convenient location half a block from the tube and bus routes. Room was on first floor on the small side but comfortable with desk, sitting chair, and comfy bed.
Compact bathroom took advantage of limited space well.

Small but super lovely room! Check in was fast and friendly. We didn’t eat or drink at the hotel but it was always busy and looked inviting. Good location for central London.

All the staff I met were charming and helpful, relaxed vibe throughout the hotel

Great hotel, perfect location with walking distance to many attractions and short distance to the tube. Great service, nice rooms and tasty breakfast. Would stay here again!

this is an excellent choice for couples wanting a classy place with great service and a top tier restaurant downstairs; we got the bigger size room and were happy with this; it did have an in-room safe and refrigerator which were NOT mentioned on the hotel website.

A lot of style over substance at this hotel. Positives: great location, very friendly staff, decent bar with excellent bartenders (though some of their cocktails are absurdly priced), bathing products smell great. Negatives: uncomfortably soft and saggy bed, odd use of space in the room with a useless bookshelf but only 5 clothes hangers in a nook, and the bathroom was extremely cramped. They also decided to participate in the annoying trend of a glass panel to block water from the shower but that panel covers only about a third of the opening. You can’t take a shower without soaking the whole floor and the bathmat. They also have very little water in the toilets, and since they don’t clean your room unless you ask, you will wind up cleaning the toilet everyday yourself. Very unpleasant.

Loved this hotel, all the little touches in the room made a big difference. Stopped for a special occasion and the staff were so lovely and made sure we had a good time. Hope to stay again soon.

We stayed in a shoebox room which was small but very well designed to make the most of the space and had everything you could want. The fridge in the room with fresh milk is a great touch.
4.5
Great location, but it would be better if they provided a clothes steamer or iron in the rooms. Also, serving breakfast later in the day would be beneficial for jet-lagged guests who wake up late. Also please provide shower caps for guests.

I’ve stayed countless times in London but I have to say I was amazed and shocked with the room size ‘Shoebox’ was the perfect description. No way should this room be marketed as a room for 2 people as it’s impractical if not impossible for two people to manoeuvre around the room and if you have a couple of suitcases, forget it. On top of this the airconditioning was very poor and the shower dripped through the night. When we checked out we explained the above to Sam on the front desk who was sympathetic, I have to say the staff were great especially Sam) got us a coffee and said the hotel would put it right if we were to stay again, but with so many quality hotels in the area I don’t think we will take the risk.

There was a nice place to visit around sightseeing spots. If you want, you can walk there. Stuffs were soo kindly, one of them gave me a map of London, it wad a big help to go around. It was a little bit difficult for me to use showers though.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Wonderful stay. Room was lovely and we had a great time. Thank you!

Wonderful location next to the underground with plenty of options for dining, attractions and most importantly, WestEnd theater. Rooms were big (enough) for London and reasonably priced. Enjoyed our 8 night stay here!

Great hotel. The staff was very accommodating, and the rooms were clean and convenient.

Beautiful hotel...really friendly staff

Great hotel - shoebox room does as it says on the label. Bed comfortable, bathroom excellent, room dark and quiet so good nights sleep. Staff great - about to try breakfast which I’m sure will be good.

Such a cool boutique hotel with the perfect location, 10 minutes from Covent Garden. 100% would revisit

Exceptional Convenience: The Hoxton is in walking distance to Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square and the British Museum. The Hop On/Hop Off bus stop is a block away and an Uber was never more than a 4 minute wait. The oldest licensed pub, The White Hart is 2 blocks away. The room was very clean & modern, the staff very attentive and the amenities everything we could ask for. We were visiting from the US and for the cost we were very happy with the Hoxton and will consider it again for future visits.

Friendly, helpful and happy staff. Food above standard.

Good location but small room. Staff was very nice.

Homely interior with super friendly staff. Room’s interior design was trendy, and the stay was comfortable. Would come here again.

We just love the Hoxton brand. The Hoxton Holborn is in a fantastic location with the tube station just a minute away and a five minute walk to covent garden. Staff is mostly friendly (there are some with really arrogant attitudes that have not realized that they are working in the service area). But we would like to point out Chris from the front desk who was just really great from the beginning and took really good care of us. Thank you!
The only thing I have to criticize about the Hoxton is that even though we stayed in the biggest room, there is hardly any space to store your clothes. The bed had one drawer which was half taken by the safe and otherwise the small open and short wardrobe thingy just doesn’t work for two people with clothes that needed to be hung up.
We will definitely be back!

It is the staff that truly make this hotel what it is and I can say enough about the amazing professionalism and warm welcome that we received from the team including the amazing Fiaza! The Hoxton need to take what Fiaza has and duplicate it across all their hotels. I can't recommend this hotel and their staff more

Perfect two night stay after returning from a holiday in Spain. Quick check in, stayed in the cosy up room which was a good size.
4.5
I liked the busy lobby and the fun, young vibe. Not for everyone. If you want a quiet, olde establishment, best to go elsewhere. I liked it and I’m not young. I especially liked the front desk staff. Very helpful!

First time staying here and what a pleasant surprise it was. Although clearly busy the staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs even though we were only staying for one night! With some extra thoughtful touches that made my 93 year old Mum's day!

Check in staff were lovely. Excellent location and beautifully designed

The bed was way too soft it gave me a back and neck ache. The room was also so small I could not open my carry on luggage.
4.5
I really liked staying here - the room was really nice and close to Holborn station, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were excellent. I would happily stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful. The only thing that we disliked at all was at one point maintenance was going around changing air filters, and after knocking once, he just opened our door! Needless to say we scrambled to ask him to step out, but that was very panic inducing and we kept the deadbolt locked the rest of our visit.
In every other way though the hotel surpassed our expectations. Very comfy bed as well!

Beautiful hotel for our stay In Dublin.
4.5
Smallest room for 300£ a night.
Trying to style it up woth cosy-cheap decoration.
One could not even fit the luggage in the room.
Bedside table only on one side of the bed.
Dirty towels and average room cleaningness.
Its my 7th stay in London by far the worst room I have ever stayed and most expensive.
4.5
Staff was great, location was great, lobby was cool. The beds and pillows were so uncomfortable though that we ended up not even staying our last night.
4.5
Such easy access to the tube. Great location. Small rooms but manageable!
4.5
Clean and central with a nice lobby that has something going on at all hours.
