Very nice hotel. Shame they decided to paint the inside during the Olympics

WE stayed 3 nights. The elevator was out of order for the last two nights that we were there. Hotel only had one elevator that is about 2 and1/2 ft x 2 and 1/2 ft. We had to bring our 2 big and 2 hand luggages, early in the morning down 72 steps. The hotel had no phone line and we had to go to the reception to get anything. No hair dryer in the room. There breakfast was good for the price. Some staff members were not friendly. Whole hotel only had one person assigned to do reception work to dinning area serviced.

Single Room was comfortable and the bed was larger than expected. Not much of a view but for a stop off this is perfect. Safe area with parking on the street outside with many bars/restaurants in the local area

Hotel Taggât treated us fantastically and it was a perfect location in Lyon where we could get to anywhere quickly. Lots of food options in the area and doesn’t break the pocket book.

It was a pleasant one night stay in a double comfort room for myself, a solo traveller.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the bar was convenient. It’s a nice area and an easy walk to the old centre.
I loved that there was a bath in the room and had a nice long soak.
It’s reasonably priced and provided you aren’t expecting the Ritz, is a good place to stay.

Fast checkin and friendly professional staff. Hotel is within walking distance to old historic Lyon.

Room got hot, I know it says no AC but they really should add it. I can't imagine how bad this would be in full summer. Showers could use some deep cleaning.

Great location and very helpful staff, the only point is that is a bit noisy, but apart it’s a very good option.

Very central and walkable to explore the beautiful city of Lyon! Front desk people we’re mildly unfriendly which is why I couldn’t give 5 stars but a very satisfactory stay for someone(s) looking for a semi affordable spot to explore the city for a couple days !

We loved our stay. The room was basic but clean and comfortable, location perfect and the restaurant on site was excellent.

It was ok breakfast wasn't that good very small selection.

Small, low budget hotel. The room was small but clean and seemed newly renovated. Paper mugs instead of normal glasses in the room increased the feeling of this being a low budget hotel.
Very noisy from adjacent rooms and corridor. Lovely breakfast.

This is a decent economy hotel. The rooms are very small, so if you're stuck in your room due to, say, weather conditions, it might not be so pleasant, but they are suitable for simply sleeping. Nice adjacent restaurant. Best cheese I ever had, actually.

The hotel is very modest with a tiny table and stool instead of small desk and chair. It would have been acceptable if not for the lack of air conditioning. It is my fault for not catching this. With 98 degree F summer temperatures, this is unacceptable for a conference hotel. To their credit, the staff provided an extra fan besides the ceiling fan that was directed up.

price is good and staff friendly and clean, comfort.

Lovely hotel, staff were friendly and helpful. Room was small but clean. It was perfect for a city break as we didn't spend a lot of time in the room.
The only cons were that it was a little noisy at times and the bathroom door wasn't great (sliding door on a runner which has gaps on either side, so not ideal if ypu need or want full privacy but it was ok for us).
The location was perfect, we were able to get the Rhomexpress and metro from the airport to the hotel. From the Metro station
it was ashort walk.
We walked to all the sights, it was easy to get around.
All in all I think the hotel was great and would recommend it to others.

Stayed for two nights for business trip. Stayed in a single room, was a bit surprised to find that there are not no doors for the bathrooms, but the rooms were clean! The walls were a bit thin (I could hear the alarms from the next door room). The restaurant had great menu selection for dinners (and quite popular too, always busy) and the breakfast had great hearty options as well (breakfast paid on site).
No hair dryers in the rooms, but you can borrow them from the reception.

The staff was exceptional and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here as it was centrally located and had everything we could possibly need. Rooms were well decorated with huge windows. Would recommend to anyone traveling to Lyon!!

Comfortable and clean rooms, friendly staff, quick check in and good location. Elevator had some issues at times though, and it doesn’t go up to the 4th floor.

It was very loud during my stay, I heard every footstep and conversation from the rooms next to me- it was hard to sleep. This is the first hotel where I stayed that leaves earplugs in the room! Breakfast was disappointing, machine-brewed coffee, old fruit, and stale croissants. No lotion or other toiletries provided. I would never stay here again and don’t believe it’s worth the cost

The hotel itself is a cosy, small-scale hotel. The rooms are renovated and looked nice. The main downside for me was just the lack of airconditioning, which turned out to be very much necessary since it was like 30°C in the room if the windows would be closed. Unfortunately opening the windows while sleeping means you'll hear all the traffic and other noises.

I liked how accommodating the management was for me checking in very late. The check-in process was quick and simple, which allowed me to go straight to bed after a full day of travel.

The hotel was about a 25 minute walk from the Gare de Lyon Part-Dieu. The neighbourhood was quiet and clean and a block away from a busier shopping and dining area. The front desk staff were friendly and the room was small, but clean. The hotel appeared to have been renovated in the last few years, but the lobby and stairs were starting to look a bit worn and shabby. The shower in my room had good water pressure, but no shower curtain or door and no matter how I positioned myself, water went everywhere! Both mornings I soaked my towels drying up the water that had sprayed all over the floor. The bed was comfortable. No safe, kettle, or coffee in the room. Complimentary earplugs were provided, which I appreciated because I could hear the people in the rooms next door. I would recommend this hotel for the traveller on a bit of a tighter budget who just needs a clean, safe, and private place to sleep.

Great hotel staff and location for Lyon. Walk to main station and into the centre of town.

The single 'basic' room was at the lower end of the basic scale. I refused to stay in it and was moved to another room which was better but only just. The only plus is the convenient position of the hotel for the principal sights of Lyon.

Had a 3 days stay at Hotel Taggat. Single room, which was small and basic, but clean and had what I needed and expected. The hotel has a good location. It is close to the inner city, but also not too far from the SNCF station. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
